Title: God of Shelters
Divinity Rank: God [1.0]
Domain: Initial mortal region (Vastyi Village)
Authority: Shelter (EX)
Followers: 40 (7 Fanatics / 10 devotees/ 23 Casual)
Faith Points: 34,427,750 (Used for Skill upgrades, miracles,...)
Divine Energy: 500/5000 (Used to manifest divine abilities...)
‡Core skills and talent‡
♦ Shelter (Ex-rank)
Type: Passive skill
Generates an impervious sanctuary within your domain. Crops flourish, storms bend around it, fires are snuffed, disease halts at its borders, and intruders cannot harm those under its protection. The stronger your Faith, the larger and more impenetrable the shelter becomes—eventually capable of reshaping terrain to safeguard all within your dominion.
Current diameter: 215,670 km²
♦ Minor Miracle (B-rank): Allows the user to perform miracles of varying scale within their divine territory. Reality may be subtly influenced to assist followers, protect the faithful, or alter the environment in minor but meaningful ways.
• The cost scales with the miracle
♦Aether manipulation (Passive/Active Hybrid): Access and control primordial mana (Aether), a more potent form of energy beyond normal magic. Can shape reality subtly or drastically depending on mastery.
♦Dream manifestation(Active): Materialises aspects of dreams and thoughts into reality. Can project visions, manipulate mental landscapes, or grant temporary blessings/insight to followers through dream interaction.
Limitations: Cannot permanently alter reality without expending high Faith Points
♦Omniperception (Limited)(Passive): Now encompasses the entire cursed land. You can see everything happening almost simultaneously, though attention is still required to act effectively.
♦Omnipresence (Limited)(Passive): Allows presence at multiple locations simultaneously. Astral form can manifest in several places without cost; only physical interventions are limited by Divine Energy.
♦Temporal Ascendancy: Time flows differently for the god compared to mortals. One day for Astrael can equal hundreds or thousands of days in the mortal plane.
Benefits:
•Can accelerate development, training, and construction without exhausting mortals.
•Faith Point generation and skill growth also scale with accelerated time.
♦Conclave: Marks your recognition as a true god among the divine order. Within the Conclave, time flows independently from the mortal world, allowing divine discussions and decisions to occur without disrupting the flow of mortal history.
Effects:
•Enables recognition of other divine authorities and domains.
•Prevents lesser entities from impersonating gods within Astrael’s perception.
Limitations:
•Does not grant authority over other gods.
•Conflicts between gods must still be resolved through divine laws or influence.#]
If my jaw weren’t attached to my face, I’m sure that at that moment it would have long made friends with the floor. "If all is just from just being a God, what would being a High God, or even Supreme God, bring?" I muttered, incredulously
"Anywho, let’s test these, shall we?" With that said, I focused on projecting myself into the mortal plane. "This feels so different from the last time, I was here", noticing that I didn’t feel, complete, I was present, but I wasn’t there, yeah it doesn’t make sense when I try to put it into words, I know, but If I could put it another way, it was that I looked the same as I always did, except the fact I was shimmering and translucent. "Let’s try two places at once" With that voiced thought, I appeared at the heart of my territory, but I could still feel myself standing in the cursed lands, the other independent of the actions of the current me "Well, this feels weird" A queasy feeling began to rise within me before I quickly cancelled the skill
In a moment, I returned to my realm, trying to recollect myself and calm that uneasy feeling. Moments later, after finally regaining myself, I made the decision- the decision to go into the Conclave. I mean, I’ve been alone for so long; why not mingle? Upon activating the skill, a golden door with intricate divine motifs appeared in front of me. Steeling my resolve for the last time and walking through the doorway, I was greeted with an expansive hall and towering pillars the size of 6 fully grown men, covered in carvings of mythical creatures and divine symbols I didn’t recognise.
And of course, I, the ’new’ god, was greeted with a round of glances and hushed whispers- shock, amusement, disdain- all from Gods of different dimensions that convened at the Conclave, or at least that’s what you would expect, but this place was as empty as a dinner plate at Thanksgiving!
Suddenly, the sound of heels clacking against the well-polished ground approached me before stopping behind me. Turning around to see the figure, I was met with a beautiful lady, eyes as green as ivy, brown wavy hair that flowed down her shoulders like waterfalls, and a smile as bright as sunflowers in bloom, all crowned with an unmistakable aura of power around her, heavy but familiar.
"Valea?" The name leaving my lips a mix of acknowledgement and questioning, causing her to flash a bright smile, "Astrael, or should I say... God of Shelters, this makes our second meeting" she said as her smile twisted, what once warm, now sinister, as the ground beneath our feet trembled accompanied by tendrils of plant matter, each as large as a human torso, launching at me.
"Shelter" Out of instinct, I commanded my authority. In the next moment, the sound of the heavy tendrils smashing against the barrier could be heard, each strike a rattling reverberation that vibrated deep into the structure of the conclave; the assault, seemingly relentless, came to a stop after what felt like a couple of minutes.
Confirming it was over, though still cautious, the barrier shimmered out of existence only to reveal her smiling face to me, a smile that beamed as if she hadn’t just attempted to murder me in broad daylight.
