“What is this?” Dusk Glow rubbed the symbol that had suddenly appeared on his flank in confusion.

“A cutie mark,” Nightmare Moon said.

After speaking, Nightmare Moon showed off the silver moon cutie mark on her own flank.

A cutie mark?

Talent?

This world actually has a rule like this?

Dusk Glow was shocked internally.

If that’s the case, doesn’t that mean everybody can see each other’s talents?

And, my talent is…

a book and a pen?

“My subject, you have reaped many unexpected benefits.,” Nightmare Moon smiled sweetly.

“I cannot wait to teach you…”

Before Nightmare Moon could finish her sentence, a sudden change occurred.

Dusk Glow’s horn suddenly lit up with a white aura.

The entire stallion was yanked up by his horn and began to float into the air.

“Wait, why am I floating again!” Dusk Glow panicked.

Seeing this, Nightmare Moon hurriedly cast a spell to grab Dusk Glow, but he was moving faster and faster, and her magic simply couldn’t stop him in time.

“No!

Don’t leave!

I haven’t taught you magic yet!” Nightmare Moon roared unwillingly.

Nightmare Moon lunged fiercely toward Dusk Glow, constantly using teleportation spells along the way.

However, she was still a step too late.

The tip of her hoof only brushed against Dusk Glow’s tail before she was pulled back to the lunar surface by a magical force.

Damn it!

Damn it!

Damn it!

This blasted magic of harmony!

Nightmare Moon roared internally.

What in Tartarus is going on?

Why did a perfectly fine pony suddenly get yanked into the air by his horn?

“My future minister ran away!

And he destroyed one of my castles too!”

It took Nightmare Moon a thousand years to finally get her hooves on a pony, and she didn’t want to lose him just like that.

But at this moment, she could only watch with resentment and anger as Dusk Glow gradually broke free from the moon’s gravity.

Dusk Glow struggled desperately in the air, but it was all in vain.

He could only watch as Nightmare Moon got further and further away.

“Help!

What is going on!” he screamed in terror.

His horn seemed to have a mind of its own, accelerating and dragging Dusk Glow in a specific direction.

And the direction it was flying toward was…

Earth.

…

This has got to be the most exciting day of my life.

First, I crossed over to the moon and turned into a pony, then I was taught magic by a black Alicorn, and then I awakened my magic and a cutie mark…

And now, I’m being dragged towards Earth by my own horn.

Dusk Glow was plummeting from space toward Earth at breakneck speed.

But just as he was about to hit the atmosphere, his body was suddenly enveloped by a layer of white magic, forming a temporary protective shield.

Watching the shield burn with a brilliant trail of flames due to the high temperature friction, Dusk Glow felt like his life was complete.

Seriously, not even chugging a dozen energy drinks would give somepony the guts to try a stunt like this.

I never thought I’d actually break through the atmosphere like a giant mecha suit one day, Dusk Glow thought to himself, suddenly feeling like he could die with no regrets.

Passing through the atmosphere, Dusk Glow turned into a burning shooting star, plunging toward the ground at the speed of a meteor…

Equestria, Canterlot, the royal palace gardens, on a sunny afternoon.

A white Alicorn with a flowing, colorful mane was leisurely enjoying her afternoon tea.

Suddenly, she felt an abnormal flow of magic.

She looked up, her face filled with shock as she saw a shooting star falling from the sky.

Celestia: (☉□☉) By Star Swirl the Bearded, what in Equestria is that!?

In the attic of one of the palace towers, a small purple and green dragon was wobbling toward a bookshelf, carrying a massive, towering stack of books.

Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a blinding white light outside the window.

“Huh?” He squinted, turning his head to look out the window.

The next second, his pupils shrank drastically, and his dragon scales bristled.

“Twi…

Twilight!” he shrieked.

The books in his arms crashed to the floor with a loud clatter.

He scrambled toward a desk, tripping over his own carelessly placed tail along the way.

With a splat, he face planted right into an inkwell, dyeing his entire face blue.

At the desk, a unicorn mare with a lavender coat, a dark purple mane with pink streaks, and eyes like purple gems was using her magic to levitate a quill, diligently working on her study plan.

Her cutie mark was a large magenta six pointed star surrounded by five smaller white ones.

“Spike, if you accidentally knocked over the ink, please go wash it off yourself,” Twilight Sparkle said without even looking up.

“No, that’s not it!” Spike hurriedly wiped the ink off his face, jumped onto Twilight Sparkle’s desk, and babbled incoherently.

“There’s something in the sky!

It’s not a bird!

It’s not a cloud!

It’s a shooting star!

A flying shooting star!”

“Oh, Spike,” Twilight Sparkle patted Spike’s little head.

“According to my observations over the past few days, the next meteor shower shouldn’t be for a few weeks.

You must be too tired.

Do you want to go take a nap?”

“It’s true!” Spike jumped directly onto her back, pointing his claws out the window.

“Look!

Look!!”

Twilight Sparkle looked out the window.

In the clear blue sky, a white shooting star with a trailing tail of fire was tearing through the heavens.

“What!!” (;゚Д゚)☆彡

Twilight Sparkle’s eyes widened.

She quickly walked over to the window, muttering under her breath, “Chapter Seven of Introduction to Meteorological Magic clearly states that the probability of seeing a shooting star during the day is 0.7 percent…”

“But there’s a shooting star right now…

Spike!

Quick, bring me my astronomical telescope!!” This was a rare spectacle, and she didn’t want to miss it.

“On it, on it!” Spike quickly lugged an astronomical telescope over.

Twilight Sparkle expertly adjusted the telescope, aiming it at the shooting star, and began observing through the eyepiece.

“Speed is nearly two thousand kilometers per hour…

descent angle is approximately seventy two degrees…

fluctuation rate is about…”

“Huh?

Wait a minute…” Twilight Sparkle zoomed in the lens.

“Why does it look like…

there’s a pony riding on that shooting star?”

As Twilight Sparkle continued observing, at the exact same time in other places…

Ponyville, Sweet Apple Acres.

An orange earth pony mare with a blonde mane, wearing a Cowboy hat, stared in shock at the shooting star in the sky, her golden green eyes as wide as saucers.

“Macintosh!

Apple Bloom!

Y’all come out here and look, there’s a shootin’ star in the sky!” Applejack hollered in a hurry.

In the skies above Ponyville.

A blue pegasus mare was darting through the clouds at high speeds.

Her rainbow colored mane left a long, dazzling trail in the rushing wind, her wings spread to their maximum wingspan.

“Three more practice laps and I’ll call it a day…”

Before she could finish her sentence, her irises reflected the shooting star in the sky.

“Whoa!” Rainbow Dash slammed on the brakes, her ruby red pupils shrinking to tiny dots.

“That flight trajectory is twenty percent cooler than mine.”

Carousel Boutique.

A white unicorn mare was standing elegantly in front of a floor-to-ceiling mirror, using her magic to adjust a newly designed evening gown.

Her silky purple mane was meticulously curled into waves, pinned up in a lazy yet fashionable updo at the back of her head.

Her sapphire blue eyes narrowed in concentration, her long eyelashes casting fine shadows under the light.

Suddenly, she noticed a shooting star tearing across the sky outside the display window.

“Oh…

my goodness…”

Rarity walked up to the display window, her mouth slightly agape, her white front hooves unconsciously pressing against the glass.

In her eyes, the shooting star’s fiery tail flowed like silk, radiating the brilliance of a white diamond.

“Such a beautiful luster…

I could absolutely incorporate that into a cape for Fashion Week!” After saying that, she turned around and hurriedly jotted down her inspiration.

The edge of the Everfree Forest.

A pale yellow pegasus mare was kneeling beside a wooden cottage.

Her long, pastel pink mane was loosely tucked behind her ears.

Her emerald eyes were lowered, focusing entirely on bandaging the injured hind leg of a bunny.

Her long eyelashes cast gentle shadows on her cheeks.

“There, there, little bunny, it will be all better in just a few days,” Fluttershy said softly, her voice as gentle as the morning mist.

Suddenly, the bunny’s ears shot straight up.

It fearfully hid underneath the yellow pegasus.

Butterflies fluttered away from her mane in a panic, and even the squirrels that loved to scurry around her froze in place, their whiskers twitching.

Most of the surrounding animals abruptly darted back into their burrows.

“What’s wrong, my little friends?”

A bunny pointed toward the sky.

Fluttershy looked up and saw a dazzling streak of light quietly slicing across the heavens.

“Ah…

it’s alright, everything is alright,” she scooped up the bunny, gently nuzzling its messy fur with her nose.

Her warm breath melted away the reflection of that light.

“It’s just some pretty starlight, isn’t it?”

The animals’ trembling gradually subsided.

Fluttershy comforted them tenderly.

No matter what was falling from the sky, the animals needed gentle healing.

Sugarcube Corner.

Pinkie Pie was busy stirring a massive bowl of frosting.

Her curly pink hair bobbed slightly to the rhythm of her humming, and the frosting on the tips of her hooves sparkled under the lights.

“Whoa!”

She froze completely, and the mixing spoon dropped into the bowl with a clank.

Her blue eyes went as wide as saucers, and her mane puffed up to twice its size with a pop, as if she had just been electrocuted.

Pinkie Pie suddenly bounced up, ricocheting around the kitchen like a spring.

“A new friend is coming!

From the sky!

With sparks and books and…”
