Blindsided by the [Confuse Ray], the Arzuros immediately began to stumble backward in panic, rubbing its eyes with its arms.

But how could a strange skill containing energy from another world be cleared away simply by rubbing one’s eyes?

Its entire world began to spin, and it started flailing its thick arms wildly, nearby trees were snapped by the powerful bear arms, and even the rocky ground had a corner chipped off in its erratic stumbling.Full novel: Monster Hunter: Zinogre’s Harem Hunting Guide — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Taking advantage of the Arzuros’s confusion, Lore immediately picked up the girl by her collar and placed her under a tree.

After turning her over, Lore finally noticed that the little girl had shoulder-length black hair.

Her face was extremely youthful, and though untouched by the passage of time, it was clear she would grow up to be a stunning beauty.

Lore looked at her face, then at her body.

Boing boing~

Wiggle, wiggle~

The action of being placed under the tree caused those two lumps, which were nearly bursting out of her Kamura Village outfit’s chest plate, to bounce again, emitting strange sounds.

This unsightly sight distracted Lore, causing him to uncharacteristically lose focus during the battle.

“This isn’t right, is it?

This face and this figure…

is she for real?

A loli with a huge chest?

Is she a legal loli?

Or is she actually eight years old, what the hell?”

Arzuros was confused.

Lore was also confused.

With this girl’s appearance and figure, who wouldn’t be bewildered?

Fortunately, the sound of another thick tree falling brought Lore back to his senses.

“Forget it, forget it!

Don’t let things unrelated to the battle blind you right now!”

Taking advantage of Arzuros’s continued confusion, Lore understood that he must finish the hunt as quickly as possible.

Once that fanged beast regained its senses, he might have to endure another bitter fight.

So, he raised his sharp claws, flashed behind Arzuros, and struck its spine with a single blow!

Even though he was a young dragon, Lore’s sharp claws were already showing their edge.

Combined with his strength, which had been boosted by two levels, he easily tore through Arzuros’s fur.

Blood flowed from Arzuros’s spine, revealing stark white bone.

“Roar!”

A miserable howl erupted from Arzuros’s throat.

It was knocked to the ground by this immense impact and rolled over and over.

Unable to stand up due to its confusion, it could only thrash about on the ground in pain.

Seeing this, Lore pressed his advantage.

To avoid being scratched by its thrashing limbs, he aimed for Arzuros’s butt, the thickest part that its limbs couldn’t reach, and bit down!

Greasy flesh, accompanied by the sound of tearing fur, slid into Lore’s mouth.

The savory, delicious meat melted on his tongue, awakening Lore’s bloodthirsty instincts!

Ignoring Arzuros’s wails and struggles, Lore tore off the most succulent chunks of meat from Arzuros’s butt, one bite after another.

He swallowed what he could, and tossed the large chunks of fat he couldn’t swallow to the side, intending to pack them up after the battle.

Awoo, awoo!

When Lore’s teeth hit something hard, he realized he had bitten through Arzuros’s spine.

The Arzuros that had been so lively just moments ago, roaring threats at the human girl and himself, was now completely dead from his relentless tearing.

Tearing the meat off its butt wasn’t fatal, but the excessive blood loss had left Arzuros beyond saving.

Glancing at the still unconscious human girl, Lore quickly used his sharp claws to dismantle Arzuros.

Due to his size, he couldn’t take all the meat, so he had to carry the most succulent parts in his mouth, bringing back a portion.

Lore originally hesitated about whether to wait for the girl to wake up, but then he thought about his current state, covered in filth and blood, and decided against it, lest he scare her unconscious again.

So, Lore had to take his prey and return to his nest while the girl was still unconscious.

Of course, he took that jar of honey with him.

As he departed, he grinned at the girl, “Consider this jar of honey a return gift for saving you.

We’ll meet again if fate allows!”

With that, Lore flicked his long, lithe tail and strode quickly toward the depths of the forest.

However, what Lore didn’t know was that just as he turned to return in triumph, the girl happened to wake up, though her eyes were still hazy from just waking.

She looked at the battlefield in a daze, feeling only a hazy crimson in her blurred vision, but within that crimson, she saw a blue light flickering from near to far.

“Can you…

see stars during the day, too…

Did I die…”

She murmured, slowly rising to her feet, stumbling forward, wanting to grab that psychedelic point of light.

But it seemed that, once again, because of the two heavy, bouncy lumps, her balance was unstable, and she fell heavily to the ground.

This time, however, she happened to lie on top of Arzuros’s pool of blood.

The warm ground made her feel comfortable, so she simply lay on the ground and fell fast asleep, carefree.

Suddenly, she heard two urgent calls.

The voices drew closer, and soon she distinguished the information they conveyed, “Yuri!

Yuri!” “Sister Yuri!

Where are you?!”

However, perhaps due to exhaustion, or perhaps due to shock, the girl did not get up, but instead let out a huge yawn, the haziness in her eyes not diminishing in the slightest.

Or perhaps…

it wasn’t that she hadn’t woken up, but that she was always like this.

Finally, the owners of those two voices arrived at the scene.

They were two Wyverian women with well-proportioned figures, dressed in martial gear that also had the appearance of shrine maiden attire.

They looked panicked, and their expressions became even more terrified upon seeing the tragic battlefield before them.

Looking at the Arzuros torn into several pieces, and then catching sight of the girl lying in a pool of blood, the two let out different screams.

Although fear filled their hearts, they immediately ran to the girl’s side and picked her up.

The girl yawned again, blood smeared on her face, rubbed her eyes, and revealed an incongruous smile, looking like a wicked woman returned from hell, “Ya~ Minoto-sister, Hinoa-sister, good morning?”

After a rough check, finding the girl was unharmed, Hinoa huffed and pinched her cheek, “Sister Yuri!

Are you still not awake?!”

“Ah~ it hurts, it hurts~” Although she said this, Yuri didn’t scream, but spoke in a ghostly manner.

Driven by the pain, Yuri snapped to her senses.

She slowly stood up, blinked her eyes, and finally saw the wreckage all over the ground.

Suddenly, a wave of fear and terror surged from within her body to her limbs, making her entire body burn hot.

Even thick, murky air began to rise from the corners of her mouth.

Covered in blood, she looked exactly like a demon walking out of hell.

Yet, on her little face, there was still no ripple; in fact, she was already scared silly inside.

Hinoa frowned, “I mean…

Yuri…

what on earth happened here?

Could it be…

that you killed this Arzuros?”
