“FOUND YOU.”

The voice echoed inside Nyra’s soul.

Empty.

Ancient.

Not angry.

Not excited.

Just certain.

Like a hunter finally spotting its prey after a very long search.

Nyra staggered backward.

The Hollow Flame exploded around her body instinctively.

Golden fire surged upward.

Silver moonlight followed.

Even the Vein King’s darkness rushed forward protectively.

Three powers.

One reaction.

Fear.

The Devourer had noticed her.

The White Eye beneath the abyss blinked once.

And reality itself shuddered.

Above them—

Moonfang Academy screamed.

Windows shattered.

Ancient towers cracked.

Students ran through collapsing hallways while teachers desperately guided them toward evacuation points.

But something worse was already happening.

People were forgetting.

A girl stood crying in a hallway.

Holding two lunch boxes.

She looked around desperately.

“Where’s Maya?”

Nobody answered.

Because nobody remembered a Maya.

Not anymore.

Back in the seal chamber—

The blood-covered silver wolf suddenly began growling.

Its ears flattened.

Its body trembling violently.

The Headmistress slowly approached it.

Then froze.

The wolf’s eyes looked confused.

Lost.

Like it had forgotten something important.

Something precious.

The Headmistress knelt beside it.

“What is it?”

The wolf whimpered softly.

Then spoke a single word through their magical bond.

“Brother.”

The Headmistress went pale.

“What?”

The wolf whined.

“I had a brother.”

Silence.

Absolute silence.

The wolf looked around desperately.

“Didn’t I?”

Nobody could answer.

Because none of them knew.

The Devourer was already feeding.

DONG.

The Thirteenth Bell rang again.

This time something appeared above the abyss.

A figure.

Small.

Human.

A teenage boy.

Nyra frowned.

The boy floated several feet above the broken seal.

His school uniform looked old.

Torn.

Faded.

Moonfang Academy’s emblem rested on his chest.

Yet nobody recognized him.

Not the Headmistress.

Not Kael.

Not Liora.

Nobody.

The boy opened his eyes slowly.

They were completely white.

No pupils.

No emotion.

Nothing. You are reading on g.com, the official source.

The Vein King immediately stepped forward.

Shadows gathered around him.

“Move away from him.”

Nyra blinked.

“Why?”

The ancient king’s voice sounded grim.

“Because he no longer exists.”

The boy smiled.

And Nyra’s blood ran cold.

Because the smile looked incredibly sad.

The boy slowly looked around the chamber.

As though seeing old friends.

Then his gaze settled on the Headmistress.

For a brief moment—

Something flickered in his white eyes.

Pain.

Recognition.

Hope.

“Headmistress…”

The woman froze.

The boy smiled weakly.

“You used to call me troublesome.”

The Headmistress stared blankly.

Confused.

Lost.

“I…”

She couldn’t remember him.

The boy’s smile faltered.

Just slightly.

Then he nodded.

“Right.”

Silence.

The entire chamber felt heavier.

The boy lowered his gaze.

“I forgot that part.”

Nyra’s chest hurt.

For some reason—

She wanted to cry.

The Devourer’s voice echoed again.

Not from below.

Not from above.

From everywhere.

“HE BELONGS TO ME.”

The White Eye widened.

The floating boy trembled violently.

Black cracks appeared across his body.

The Vein King growled.

A deep, dangerous sound.

“Leave him.”

The Devourer ignored him.

“HE HAS BEEN CONSUMED.”

The boy laughed softly.

Not because it was funny.

Because it hurt.

“So that’s what happened.”

Nyra stepped forward.

“Who are you?”

The boy slowly looked at her.

And suddenly—

His expression changed.

For the first time—

Real emotion appeared.

Shock.

Disbelief.

Then tears.

“…Seraphine?”

Nyra froze.

The chamber went silent.

The boy stared at her.

Like he had found something impossible.

Something precious.

“You came back.”

The words shattered her heart.

Because she felt it.

Somewhere deep inside her memories.

She knew him.

Fragments flashed before her eyes.

A library.

Silver trees.

A boy laughing while carrying too many books.

Both of them laughing.

Friends.

Close friends.

Very close.

The memory vanished.

Nyra gasped.

The boy smiled sadly.

“You remembered.”

The Headmistress stared.

“You knew Seraphine?”

The boy laughed again.

A broken sound.

“I loved this school.”

Silence.

“I loved my friends.”

Another pause.

“I loved being alive.”

The White Eye beneath the abyss opened wider.

The boy’s body cracked further.

Pieces of him began disappearing.

Not turning to dust.

Not burning.

Simply ceasing to exist.

Nyra stepped forward instinctively.

“No!”

The boy looked at her.

And smiled.

A genuine smile.

“Still trying to save everyone.”

Then his expression turned serious.

Very serious.

“The Origin Seal.”

Everyone froze.

The boy pointed upward.

Toward the academy.

Toward the highest tower.

“It’s hidden inside the Founder’s Clock.”

The Headmistress gasped.

“The Clock Tower?”

The boy nodded.

“The founders hid it where nobody would look.”

The Vein King’s crimson eyes narrowed.

“Why are you telling us this?”

The boy’s smile softened.

“Because I don’t want to disappear.”

Silence.

Then he whispered:

“Please.”

Nyra’s chest tightened painfully.

The boy looked toward her one final time.

And spoke words that changed everything.

“The Devourer isn’t looking for the Vein King.”

Everyone froze.

The White Eye blinked.

The boy’s body began vanishing faster.

Nyra stepped closer.

“What do you mean?”

The boy’s voice trembled.

Fear.

Real fear.

“The Devourer has crossed thousands of worlds searching for one thing.”

The chamber grew silent.

The White Eye focused entirely on Nyra.

The boy pointed directly at her.

And whispered:

“You.”

The world stopped.

Then the boy smiled sadly.

Like someone saying goodbye.

And vanished completely.

No body.

No ashes.

No light.

Nothing.

As though he had never existed at all.

Only one thing remained behind.

A silver notebook.

Lying silently on the broken floor.

And written across its cover—

In Seraphine’s handwriting—

Was a single name.

“Aiden.”
