Ren Kurose didn’t particularly care that Cú Chulainn suspected he wasn’t actually a modern Heroic Spirit.
Dressed in modern clothing, Ren Kurose actually fit in quite well beside Gudako.
Unfortunately, after displaying such overwhelming strength during their spar, no one really believed his story anymore.
Everyone simply assumed that this Heroic Spirit happened to like clothing from his Master’s era.
Gudako’s other summoned Servants were also surprised when they learned the outcome of the spar.
Cú Chulainn’s performance back in the previous Singularity had been quite impressive.
Because of that, Shirou Emiya became extremely curious about Ren Kurose.
However, just like the others, he could only perceive the name Ren Kurose.
At present, there was only one person in all of Chaldea who could hear Ren Kurose’s complete name—
Saber Artoria Alter.
That’s right.
Artoria Alter had successfully perceived the name Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose.
The reason was her exceptionally high Magic Resistance, which allowed her to withstand the corruption caused by perceiving that great name.
At the very least, under the protection of such powerful Magic Resistance, the corruption wasn’t enough to interfere with her actions or sanity.
Her Magic Resistance was ranked B.
Because of this, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose guessed that anyone with B-rank Magic Resistance or higher should probably be capable of perceiving his full name.
After all, this Servant body was merely an avatar.
That was why Artoria Alter always addressed Ren Kurose as—
Yomagn’tho.
Perhaps this also had something to do with Artoria Alter being a guardian of Human Order.
She might have acquired some knowledge of the terrifying existence known as Yomagn’tho from somewhere.
Whenever Cú Chulainn passed by Artoria Alter, she rarely gave him a pleasant expression.
The guy was somewhat frivolous, and personality-wise, he was hardly compatible with her.
So it was perfectly normal for Artoria Alter to dislike his attitude.
However, whenever Cú Chulainn happened to walk past her together with Ren Kurose, he noticed something strange.
Artoria Alter seemed almost…
respectful toward Ren Kurose.
That left Cú Chulainn extremely confused.
“You bastard.
You definitely have some other identity, don’t you?”
“Nope.
I’ve only got one identity.”
Ren Kurose smiled.
“Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose.”
Ren Kurose said his full name once again.
Unfortunately, Cú Chulainn still only heard the final two syllables—
Ren Kurose.
That certainly wasn’t Ren Kurose’s fault.
“Forget it, forget it.”
Cú Chulainn waved his hand.
“Mash was looking for you earlier. Get faster updates on g.com.
She said you should hurry over to the Control Room.”
After delivering the message, Cú Chulainn left.
Ren Kurose, meanwhile, headed toward the Control Room.
The reason they had called him over was actually quite obvious.
In their eyes, Ren Kurose was Gudako’s first Servant.
When they entered the next Singularity, naturally they intended to bring him along.
However, they didn’t believe there was any need to rush into the next Singularity immediately.
That was what they were currently discussing.
After all, Gudako was still only a half-trained magus.
They hoped to give her some time to grow stronger before sending her into another Singularity.
That way, the chances of successfully repairing it would be much higher.
Personally, Ren Kurose actually thought going earlier would be better.
If they moved quickly enough, then during the Sixth Singularity, the Lion King might not have become a god yet.
That would obviously make things much easier.
As for the Uruk Singularity, as long as they seized the Holy Grail and stopped Kingu before he completed his plan to awaken Tiamat—
Tiamat might never even appear.
Still, it was also true that Gudako was currently far too weak.
At this stage, ensuring Gudako’s safety and improving her chances of survival were absolutely the highest priorities.
After all— she was humanity’s last Master.
Once the discussion ended, Ren Kurose left the Control Room together with Gudako and Mash.
However, while passing through the Control Room area, he once again caught sight of the crimson-red CHALDEAS.
Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose unconsciously swallowed.
He really wanted to eat it.
Unfortunately, it still wasn’t at its most delicious stage yet.
Once its planetary soul was fully born and it reached the state of the Foreign Planet, that would be the point when it was truly worth eating.
After all, Yomagn’tho usually fed on stars.
No matter how much CHALDEAS evolved, the Foreign Planet would ultimately still only be a planet.
There was still quite a difference between the two.
So although it made Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose somewhat hungry right now…
that was about it.
“Huh?
Ren Kurose, what’s wrong?”
Gudako noticed Ren Kurose staring at CHALDEAS and asked curiously.
Ren Kurose came back to his senses.
“Uh, nothing.
Let’s go.”
Afterward, Ren Kurose returned to his room.
…
Within the unknown space, an enormous crimson sphere of flame suddenly began moving.
Because the avatar in Chaldea kept seeing CHALDEAS in its glowing, almost roasted-looking state, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose had ended up feeling rather hungry.
So he decided to grab himself a snack.
After locating a moderately sized star, Yomagn’tho Ren Kurose immediately began feeding.
Back in Chaldea, Ren Kurose’s avatar simultaneously felt a powerful sense of fullness.
At last— he wasn’t craving CHALDEAS quite so badly anymore.
After his meal, Ren Kurose opened the Chat Group.
Bai Yuekui: @Takashi Natsume, do you have any more of those special talismans you gave me last time?
I’d like to trade you some medicine for them.
At this moment, Bai Yuekui was asking Takashi Natsume for more of the talismans he had previously sent her.
Takashi Natsume: That one was a thank-you gift.
Someone else gave it to me, so I don’t actually have any more myself.
Bai Yuekui: Huh?
Is that so?
What a shame!
Mitsuri Kanroji: Bai Yuekui, are those talismans really useful?
What do they do?
Bai Yuekui: They’re supposed to bring good luck.
And honestly, after carrying one with me, my haul this time really was much better than usual.
We found quite a lot!
Ever since her previous exchange with Takashi Natsume in the Chat Group, Bai Yuekui had obtained several talismans carrying special yokai abilities.
When her team later went out into the wasteland to search for supplies, they really did manage to find some valuable things.
Perhaps it was merely psychological reassurance.
However, after experiencing the terrifying incident Ren Kurose had caused in the Chat Group, Bai Yuekui had become much more willing to believe that these talismans truly possessed such abilities.
That was why she wanted more.
Unfortunately, Takashi Natsume didn’t have any extras.
Bai Yuekui: Do you have any other kinds of talismans?
If possible, could you help me get some?
I can trade medicine for them.
In Bai Yuekui’s world, biotechnology had already advanced to a considerably higher level.
The main reason was the unique Mana-Eaters of her world.
By studying the biological energy contained within their bodies, Bai Yuekui had managed to develop several useful substances.
They could effectively relieve certain visible injuries while also greatly increasing cellular vitality.
For people from some worlds, the medicines from Bai Yuekui’s world were actually extremely effective.
Takashi Natsume: I can ask around for you.
Bai Yuekui: Mm.
Thanks.
Watching everyone chat, Ren Kurose thought for a moment— then joined the conversation.
