At Chaldea, inside the Control Room, Romani Archaman was directing the staff as they communicated with Ritsuka Fujimaru, who was currently inside a Singularity.

Just then, Da Vinci, one of the two Servants still remaining in Chaldea, contacted him.

The FATE Summoning System suddenly activated!”

Da Vinci hurried into the room as she spoke.

Romani’s expression immediately changed.

“How could that happen?

What activated it?

Other than Ritsuka Fujimaru, all the other Masters are still inside their Coffins.

How could the system activate without a Master?”

As soon as he finished speaking, he and Da Vinci rushed toward the location of the FATE Summoning System.

However, the moment they arrived, both Romani and Da Vinci immediately assumed guarded stances.

No matter how they looked at it, the FATE Summoning System suddenly activating on its own was far too suspicious.

Combined with everything that had already happened to Chaldea, they had no choice but to remain cautious.

There was another reason for their vigilance.

They could sense a presence approaching from within.

Slowly, the retractable metal doors on both sides slid open.

A figure appeared before them.

Black hair.

Black eyes.

Refined, handsome features.

He wore a set of modern clothes and stood at roughly the same height as Romani.

The oppressive sense of power emanating from within his body immediately made both Romani and Da Vinci’s expressions turn solemn.

Judging from his aura, he was undoubtedly a Servant.

However, since they hadn’t scanned him yet, neither of them knew his Class.

“Um…

I was only just summoned.”

The Servant looked at the two of them.

“I haven’t even met my Master yet.

You don’t have to be so nervous, do you?”

“Can I ask who my Master is?”

This Servant was none other than Ren Kurose.

Earlier, a certain World Will had apparently been watching Ren Kurose the entire time.

After realizing that Ren Kurose was waiting for her, she had directly appeared and communicated with him.

Ren Kurose successfully obtained a Saint Graph from her.

Of course, technically speaking, it had also come from Alaya.

Although Gaia and Alaya occasionally came into conflict, their relationship was ultimately still fairly decent. Follow the newest chapters on g.com.

Getting Ren Kurose an ordinary Saint Graph wasn’t much of a problem.

And so, after obtaining a Saint Graph, Ren Kurose could finally appear openly.

More importantly— he could appear in human form.

That put Ren Kurose in an excellent mood.

After hearing Ren Kurose speak, Romani and Da Vinci both relaxed slightly.

At the very least, he didn’t currently seem hostile.

“How exactly did you get here?

What’s your Class?

And what’s your True Name?”

Romani fired off three questions at once.

Ren Kurose spread his hands.

“How did I get here?

Wasn’t I summoned?”

“As for my Class…

uh, Foreigner, I suppose.”

“And my True Name?”

“I don’t want to reveal that before meeting my Master.”

His Class was indeed Foreigner.

After all, in that game, existences connected to Outer Gods generally belonged to that Class.

Foreigner was an Extra Class outside the seven standard Classes, so both Romani and Da Vinci were visibly shocked.

“Foreigner?”

Da Vinci stared at him.

“How could a Foreigner appear here?

Are you…

an alien?”

“No.”

Ren Kurose could only explain it this way.

“I’m merely connected to certain beings that are suspected of being aliens.”

Romani fell silent.

That explanation was somehow even more alarming.

Still, neither of them continued pressing him on the matter.

Da Vinci spoke instead.

“Chaldea only has one Master left.

Perhaps your summoning has something to do with Fujimaru, but Fujimaru hasn’t returned yet.”

“Since we don’t know your True Name for now, we’ll just address you by your Class.”

“I’m Romani.”

Romani continued, “Chaldea is currently facing a major crisis.

If we could receive your assistance, I’m sure the Master would be very happy once they return.”

“What do you say?”

“No problem.”

Ren Kurose immediately gave his answer.

“If this is my Master’s organization, then I have no objections at all.

If there’s anything you need help with, just call me.”

Hearing this, both Da Vinci and Romani nodded.

Internally, they also breathed sighs of relief.

However, neither of them intended to bring Ren Kurose into the Control Room yet.

Instead, Da Vinci would accompany him and arrange a room for him.

At present, almost everyone remaining in Chaldea was gathered inside the Control Room.

If this mysterious Servant turned out to be an enemy…

they would be completely screwed.

So for now, Da Vinci had no choice but to stay with Ren Kurose.

After all, they still couldn’t confirm whether Ritsuka Fujimaru had somehow unintentionally triggered the FATE Summoning System and summoned him.

Ren Kurose didn’t particularly care.

As they walked, Da Vinci kept subtly probing him for information about his identity.

Truthfully, Ren Kurose wouldn’t have suffered much even if he revealed his True Name.

After all, there had never been a Heroic Spirit named Ren Kurose in recorded history.

He didn’t even know whether there had been any historically significant people who shared his name.

However, in order to maintain his current persona, Ren Kurose continued refusing to reveal it.

At the very least, doing so made it clear that he was waiting for his Master.

That would also reassure Da Vinci somewhat.

If he simply told her that his True Name was Ren Kurose, then after failing to find any information on him whatsoever, she might instead become even more suspicious.

In the end, Da Vinci failed to obtain the answers she wanted and could only give up.

Afterward, Ren Kurose and Da Vinci weren’t exactly familiar with one another, so neither had much to say.

Ren Kurose therefore decided to check the Chat Group.

And this time— he was overjoyed.

When he opened the Chat Group using this Servant body, he discovered that his mute had finally been lifted.

Sure enough.

Only by using a form like this could he reduce his influence on the ordinary group members to the absolute minimum.
