After the sound of the door lock code being entered, the heavy front door creaked open.
Crash, bang!
With a loud commotion, two shadows tangled together stumbled into the foyer.
Clack, thud thud clatter-
The sound of dress shoes and high heels were kicked off and bounced everywhere.
“Ugh.”
A woman’s groan escaped fiercely from tightly sealed lips.
Thump-thump-
The tangled mass of shadows swayed violently, clinging to the wall next to the foyer before falling away again.
“Ugh.
Lee Hye-won.”
The man’s voice, desperately calling the woman’s name, was low and strained.
As if it were a sound that had been held back for a long time before finally bursting out.
“Haaah.”
Along with his ragged breathing, the man’s pleasant baritone took on an urgent tone.
“Ugh…Straight…”

Just then, the foyer sensor light flickered on, finally revealing the true forms of the tangled shadows.
“…Stand… straight, woman.”
The staggering woman leaned heavily on the man, her one arm slung over his shoulder, while the man grunted, supporting her by wrapping an arm around her waist.
In his other hand, he held his suit jacket and what appeared to be the woman’s bag, making him look quite burdened in many ways.
He painstakingly guided the drunken, swaying woman inside, and the woman, seemingly unaware of her surroundings, squinted her eyes and looked around in all directions.
“Where are we?”
Her words were slurred, thoroughly soaked in alcohol.
Then, with hazy eyes, she recognized the face of the man clinging to her side and pulled away in surprise.
“Oh my, Team Leader.”
She swayed slightly but tried to stand up straight, and as if trying not to show her drunkenness, she quickly composed her expression and patted her cheeks a few times.
Alright, that much was okay.
But the man’s mood soured instantly at the woman’s gesture of checking her lower body and pressing her hands to her chest, as if to see if anything untoward had happened to her.
It looked as if she were preemptively protesting with an “oh no you don’t” before any impropriety had even begun.
The man scowled at the woman and retorted as if spitting fire.
“Team.
Leader?
Lee Hye-won.
Aren’t you going to sober up?
I clearly told you it’s Oh Tae-sik when it’s just the two of us.”
Lee Hye-won quickly shook her head, as if trying to clear her mind at his words.
Then, she focused her eyes intently and carefully scrutinized the man in front of her again.
As if she finally saw the man properly, her round eyes instantly curved into crescent moons, and she burst into a radiant smile.
“Ah-ha.
So you’re my ex-husband.”
Oh my, she called her ex-husband so brightly.
