After Dad answered the phone, he rushed out without even finishing breakfast. We had no idea what was so urgent.
With my phone and laptop confiscated, I had nothing to do but sit on the sofa watching TV, anxiously waiting for Lily to show up. My younger sister Mia was sprawled on the other end of the couch, scrolling through her phone. Her left leg rested casually over her right, her smooth bare foot swaying back and forth.
I knew things would get awkward once Lily arrived, so I tried to nudge her out of the house.
“Hey… Ghost Foot.”
“What do you want, weirdo?”
She had twisted her ankle pretty badly a few years back and limped for weeks. I’d given her the nickname back then, and it stuck. She pretended to hate it, but she always fired back with her own ridiculous name for me.
“You finally have a couple days off,” I said. “Why don’t you go meet up with your friends?”
“I finally get to relax at home. Why would I leave?”
“Come on, go out for a bit.”
“Nope,” she drawled, eyes glued to her screen.
I reached over and gently grabbed her big toe, giving it a playful shake. “Just for a little while?”
She didn’t pull away, just sounded irritated. “Why are you so desperate to get rid of me?”
“I need to study later. Serious review time.”
“That’s got nothing to do with me.” She yanked her foot back.
“Your very presence is distracting.”
Mia snorted. “Do I radiate some kind of interference field?”
“You’re just annoying. Knowing you’re around throws off my focus.”
“Whatever.” She kicked at me.
I dodged and muttered a silly rhyme I’d just come up with: “Ghost Foot Seven, always in the way, refuses to leave and ruins my day…”
She didn’t get mad. Instead, she wiggled her toes and shot back while still on her phone: “Psycho brother, thick-headed fool, gets smacked around and acts like a tool.”
I was about to clap back when the doorbell rang. I jumped up and opened it to find Lily standing there with a bright smile.
She looked cute and casual in a navy jacket, white cropped pants, pink sneakers, and her schoolbag slung over one shoulder. Her hair was braided with soft bangs framing her face, and just a touch of makeup brought out her fresh, girl-next-door charm.
Lily had always been taller than most girls our age, nearly my height, with a graceful, balanced figure. She reminded me of her mom in certain ways. When we were younger, she used to sneak into our house and try on her mother’s clothes. They always fit her surprisingly well.
Our moms had been close friends for years. Lily and I had basically grown up together, and Mia knew her just as well.
“Yo, so that’s why you were trying so hard to kick me out,” Mia called from the couch. “Hey, sister-in-law. Long time no see.”
Lily was used to the teasing. She smiled back. “Mia, you’re home? School let out early?”
“Yeah.” Mia nodded, then pouted dramatically. “I finally get two days off and he keeps trying to shove me out the door. Wonder what he’s planning.”
“Alright, enough,” I said, gently steering Lily toward the hallway. She set her bag down. “Wait, I need to use the bathroom first.”
While Lily was in the bathroom, I leaned over to Mia and whispered, “I’ll buy you a movie ticket. Go see something.”
“Not interested.” Her eyes sparkled. “Just give me two hundred.”
“Where am I supposed to get that kind of cash?”
“Any one of your stamps is worth at least a hundred.”
“Fifty.”
“Two hundred.”
“Seventy.”
“Two hundred.”
I sighed. “Forget it.”
“One hundred and five,” she said, starting to negotiate down.
“One hundred. Take it or leave it.”
“Plus the movie ticket.”
“Fine.”
“And a kids’ meal.”
“Are you kidding me? One hundred plus the ticket is already more than two hundred.”
“Then just give me the full two hundred.”
I was losing patience. “Deal. I’ll give it to you later. Now get going.”
Mia got up slowly, muttering, “Kicking me out this fast… definitely something shady going on.”
By the time Lily came out, Mia had already slipped out the front door.
“Huh? Mia left already?”
“Yeah, she went to catch a movie.”
“Oh, I hadn’t seen her in a while. I wanted to talk to her.” Lily looked a little disappointed.
I put my arm around her shoulders. “What’s there to talk about with that pest?” I guided her into my bedroom.
Lily picked up a book from the shelf, frowning. “Why are you in such a rush?”
I closed the door behind us with my foot, rubbed my hands together, and grinned.
She immediately caught on, her cheeks turning pink. “I knew it. You said we were going to study!”
“We can study after.”
I pulled her into my arms and we tumbled onto the bed. I leaned in to kiss her, but she pushed my face away and sat up, looking serious.
“I’m telling you, we can’t keep doing this.”
I wrapped myself around her from behind, kissing the side of her neck. “Can’t do what?”
“Ugh, you’re so annoying. I’m trying to be serious.” She squirmed, trying to push me off.
I grinned. “The most important thing right now is getting you in bed.”
Lily grabbed her schoolbag and smacked me on the head twice. “Can you be serious for once?”
I rubbed the spot, pretending to look hurt. “I am being serious.” When I saw she was actually upset, I sat up properly. “Okay, talk to me. What’s going on?”
Lily sat on the edge of the bed. “My mom really laid into me yesterday.”
“What? Why? I thought she was fine with us dating.”
She hesitated, then said quietly, “She asked if we had… done it.”
I played dumb. “Done what?”
She hit me with a pillow. I laughed. “Alright, alright. How did she find out? Did you say something?”
Lily glared. “Your mom told my mom on chat. How did your mom know?”
I scratched my head. “I don’t know… I didn’t think I slipped up.”
“It must’ve been you,” she said, pointing at me.
“I’m not that stupid. Why would I tell her?”
“Then what exactly did you say?”
“I told her we were just playing hide and seek.”
Lily groaned and hit me with the pillow again. “What high schooler still plays hide and seek? No wonder she didn’t buy it.”
“What was I supposed to say? I couldn’t exactly tell her the truth.”
We bickered back and forth, trading playful insults and pillow strikes until the tension finally eased.
We tried to study, but I couldn’t concentrate. Being so close to her, smelling her shampoo, feeling the warmth of her body — it was driving me crazy. I was painfully hard.
While pretending to explain a problem, my hand drifted to her waist, then slipped under her shirt. I cupped her soft breast. Before I could savor it, she stabbed my hand with her pen.
I yelped. She stared at me for a second, then suddenly laughed — and let out a small, accidental fart.
The room went dead quiet. Lily’s face turned bright red.
I grinned. “What was that?”
“I… nothing!”
“You just made a little ‘pfft’ sound.”
Realizing I was teasing her, she turned even redder and stabbed my hand again with the pen. “That’s it. I’m going home.”
I quickly hugged her from behind. “Come on, baby. I can’t hold back anymore.”
She tried to resist, but I was too worked up. In one smooth motion, I pulled her pants and underwear down, bent her over the desk, and thrust into her. She was already wet. From there, things got intense. We started against the desk, then moved to the bed with her legs over my shoulders. I drove into her hard and deep while she moaned loudly. When she came, her body clenched tightly around me, and I finished inside her.
Afterward, we showered together, laughing and teasing each other under the water. Back in bed, I convinced her to try on some of my mom’s clothes — sheer black pantyhose, a straight skirt, a fitted jacket, and high heels.
She looked incredibly sexy in the outfit.
“Call me Mom,” she said shyly, a playful smile on her lips.
“Mom…”
The word sent a rush through me. I pushed her down onto the bed again, hands sliding under the skirt, wild with desire.
Just as I was about to enter her, the bedroom door swung open.
A beautiful woman in a light gray business suit, black stockings, and high heels stood there, mouth slightly open, eyes wide with shock.
It was Elena Voss — my mother.
