The moment Miyi finished his explanation, the entire throne room fell completely silent.

Everyone, including Princess Sliviy, was left utterly speechless by the bizarre chain of events.

Sliviy slowly pressed her right hand against her face, her expression a mask of pure disappointment as she quietly put her tablet away.Full novel: My Daughter is the Strict Warden, but I’m just a Lazy-King. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Miyi, however, was completely oblivious to the mood. He was absolutely overjoyed by the fact that he had finally interacted with Miyuki after such a long time.

Completely lost in his own world, he wrapped his arms around himself, trying to simulate a hug. "Oh Miyuki… where are you, my lover?" he whimpered happily.

Watching their king act so completely obsessed, a few quiet, stifled giggles broke out among the group.

But Sliviy wasn't laughing. "Father… you have an audience right in front of you," she said, her voice a mix of deep disappointment and brewing anger.

Miyi didn't even process her warning, getting entirely lost in his own thoughts again.

"Oh, yeah! I could just message her right when I'm about to go to sleep," he muttered to himself, letting out a strange, daydreaming laugh.

That was the final straw. Sliviy completely snapped, pointing a furious finger straight at him as she unleashed her wrath. "Father!! DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO YOURSELF?! Stupid father!!"

"Stupid, huh?" Miyi mumbled back with absolutely zero concern, which only served to make her angrier.

"YES! I SAID STUPID!" Sliviy scolded, gesturing wildly toward the guests in the room to make him realize who was watching.

"Not only are you LAZY and constantly SLEEPING THE WHOLE DAY, but you are actively showing off this behavior in front of Big Sister Iris, Sister Rory, Geldbarun, and even worse, Commander Jold!!"

The sharp reprimand finally snapped Miyi back to reality.

The realization hit him like a physical blow: he was the King, yet he was openly broadcasting his desire to slack off, sleep, and skip out on his royal duties in front of his highest-ranking military officials.

Panicking, Miyi instantly bowed his head low. "I AM SORRY! I DIDN'T REALIZE I WAS RANTING ABOUT MY OBSESSION!! SORRY!!" he apologized frantically.

The entire room froze in sheer shock. A King bowing to his subordinates was completely unheard of, an absolute breach of royal protocol.

"Your majesty, you shouldn't bow! Please, sit up straight," Commander Jold interjected quickly, deeply concerned about Miyi's status and royal image.

"YOU STUPID!!" Sliviy shouted at him again.

Realizing his massive blunder, Miyi quickly sat up perfectly straight.

A sudden, overwhelming urge to run away washed over him; his face turned incredibly dark, looking exactly like a man who had just seen a ghost.

Yet, the sheer absurdity of the commotion had an unexpected side effect.

The suffocating, high-tension atmosphere that had gripped the room since the battle completely shattered, transforming the serious royal meeting into a total comedy show.

The crushing guilt that had been weighing heavily on Princess Iris suddenly evaporated, replaced by a sudden burst of laughter.

Sliviy turned her gaze toward her older sister. "Big Sister Iris…" she murmured, genuinely feeling sorry that Iris had to sit through such embarrassing family drama during an official military debrief.

But Iris couldn't stop. She was laughing out loud now, actual tears of joy pooling in her eyes.

"This is the first time… I've ever seen my dad show this kind of personality,"

Iris managed to wheeze out between breaths, thoroughly entertained by the absolute comedy her father was putting on.

Seeing Iris finally smile, the rest of the room couldn't help but join in, letting out small laughs of their own, leaving a deeply depressed Miyi sitting on his throne, completely drowning in his own embarrassment
