Sam didn't know how he managed to finish the shower and left for his university without looking awkward in front of Chloe. He must have been so focused on suppressing his emotions that he forgot to be conscious of his behaviour.
All he remembered was Alia smiling at him warmly and wishing him a good day. There was no sign of her being affected by their shared sexual act or their almost-kiss earlier.
She acted as if nothing happened, and he followed her lead. Yet he wished Alia showed some kind of reaction to what they did, like feeling shy and somewhat happy or sad that they stopped.
However, she didn't, and Sam couldn't be sure how she really felt. Was it possible that it was just a one-time thing for her, a release of pent-up frustration? Or was she also attracted to him, as he was to her?
'Ugh, stop thinking, Sam! You need to focus on Diana. You can't let yourself be swayed by Mom or Chloe. It's not good for anyone,' Sam told himself firmly as he walked with Chloe towards the campus.
But Chloe seemed to notice his inner turmoil and nudged his arm lightly, making him turn to look at her.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking even more gloomy than your usual? Is it because of what we did this morning? Don't tell me you're still hung up about it. Didn't it feel good for you to grind your cock on my pussy?"
Her words were blunt, but the smile on her lips was playful and innocent, as if they were just joking around.
"Damn it, Chloe. Don't say things like that in public," Sam snapped in a hushed tone, glancing around to see if anyone had heard them. Luckily, no one was close enough to hear their conversation. "And I'm not 'hung up' about it, but I think it was inappropriate. So please, from now on, keep some distance between us, okay? It's for the best."
Chloe didn't like Sam's tone, which seemed a bit angry and harsh. She also didn't appreciate him pushing her away, even if it was the logical thing to do.
With a frown, she stopped walking and pulled Sam into a hug, startling him. Her hands wrapped around his waist tightly while her breasts pressed against his chest.
Then Chloe lifted her head to look at him and gave him her most pitiful expression, with puppy-dog eyes. "What do you mean by 'keep a distance'? Are you trying to say we can't be close anymore? Why not? It's not fair! I like being close to you, Sammy. I love you!"
For a moment, Sam was speechless at how cute yet shameless Chloe was being. How could she look so innocent while saying something like that? It was confusing as hell.
"C-Chloe, it's not like I'm telling you to avoid me completely. But you know what I mean, right? We should stop doing those kinds of things and behave like how siblings should be. Like right now. How can you just hug me in the middle of campus without any hesitation?"
Following his words, Sam tried to unwrap Chloe's arms from his body. But she held on tighter and leaned her face even closer to his, their breathing mingling.
"No! I don't want to. I don't see any problem with hugging my brother. Other siblings do it all the time." Chloe pouted cutely. "Unless... you don't see me as your sister anymore? Did you start seeing me as something else, Sam?"
Those last words hit Sam right in the gut, and his breath hitched. He looked at Chloe, whose eyes were full of challenge and mischief, but also something deeper. Something that made his heart race and his mind blank.
Of course, he saw her as something else. He couldn't help but see her as a woman he was sexually attracted to, especially after everything they had done together. Not only that, Chloe holding him like this, her sweet breath on his lips... made feelings bloom inside him.
He liked Chloe, more than just a sister. But he refused to admit it.
"Chloe..." Sam called her name in a strained voice, unable to find the right words.
Thankfully, before he could say anything, a third voice interrupted their conversation.
"Well, well, what a lovely scene."
They both turned their heads to see a tall, handsome guy with messy brown hair, wearing a leather jacket and jeans. His arms were crossed over his broad chest, and his blue eyes were focused on them, specifically on how close they were.
It was Jake.
Sam cursed under his breath and quickly pushed Chloe away, but to his annoyance, she resisted, her arms still clinging to him.
"Hey, Jake! Perfect timing! I was just showing Sammy how much I love him." Chloe greeted cheerfully, sticking out her tongue at Jake. "You also think it's cute when I hug my brother, right?"
However, Sam didn't feel like playing along this time. He removed Chloe's hands from him and put some space between them, then nodded at Jake as a greeting before saying to Chloe, "Alright, I'll see you guys later. I'm going ahead."
Then, without waiting for her response, Sam walked away quickly, leaving them behind.
"What the fuck, Sam! Why are you running away? Come back here!" Chloe shouted after him angrily, but he didn't turn back.
She was about to chase after him when Jake stopped her with a firm grip on her shoulder. "Enough, Chloe. Stop pestering him. Can't you see how uncomfortable you're making him feel?"
"What do you mean? I'm just expressing my sisterly love! Why is it wrong?"
Jake clicked his tongue at Chloe's obliviousness and sighed. "Do I really need to spell it out for you? The way you act with him is not how normal siblings behave, and you know it. It's like you're trying to provoke him."
