Entering, I noticed two pairs of very expensive girl slippers, five black formal shoes and my parents' shoes. Without any hesitation, I threw my shoes off and rushed into the living room. My parents and two girls were sitting across from each other. With five dudes in coat suits standing around them.
I jumped and fought off all five of them in a thrilling action sequence and won. Except in reality, I froze. Why were the flowers of the academy here?! Soon, the door opened again. The third beauty of the school was also here. Composing quickly, I greeted them and seated Iris Caldwell, the girl who entered now, along with the other two. Excusing ourselves, I ushered my family into the kitchen for a quick strategic meeting. They were sweating buckets until now.
Father began talking, "That is the Caldwell's daughter that entered now, right? I work under their subsidiary only."
Mother also spoke, "The other grey-haired girl was the famous Solo Idol, Celeste Harmon, right? She has been in the news for a while now."
Mother turned towards me and asked, "We know they studied in your academy. So, Ethan Cole, did you do something to garner their attention? Spit out everything."
When she called me by my full name, I got scared for a second and gulped. Then, I realized that I was also in the dark in this.
"I am in the same school, but I never interact with them, Mom."
I turned the blade, "I think Father has to explain. It's their parent company's daughter after all."
Father's face was shocked by my betrayal, "Listen, Nora, if it was company-related they would've approached me at my office, not at my house. Nora, did you put in some request to meet with the Celeste girl to get a picture? It is the likely explanation."
Now, the blade of blame was facing Mom herself. "I never sent such a request. Are you both sure there is no connection between you and their presence being here? I don't even know who the Black-haired girl is."
And so, the back-and-forth blaming and theories went on for a good minute. We went on like this before finally exhausting the possibilities.
I decided that it was better to limit the damage and gave a rundown on who the three were.
"The black-haired girl is a famous streamer that's why you might not know about her. Her name is Vivienne Ashcroft. The other two you already know. I will handle it since I have at least spoken with them before. Again, I am not even acquaintances with them. So, be cautious."
Steeling myself and curling my hands in courage, I stood in front of the kitchen door. I turned to see my parents nodding and encouraging me on. My father and I left the kitchen to take a seat, while Mother insisted on bringing refreshments for them.
Celeste began speaking with her professional smile, "We apologize for imposing on your family without any notice. But the matter was of high importance to all three of us. If your parents would allow, we would like to speak with Cole alone."
Thunder rumbled at the revelation, at least in the heads of my parents and me.
"Of course, of course, after all, all of you are schoolmates."
Great job Dad, throwing your own son under the bus, not even a minute later. He wanted to not deal with them even a second more. I could even hear my Mom sighing a little in relief from the kitchen.
I will get back at them for this, for sure. But, for now, I had to deal with three of the most famous people all at the same time.

After placing the refreshments, Mom left closing the door. Great assist Mom for sealing your son's fate.
Inside the room, I was seated on the chair, while the three sat on the floor. They insisted on sitting down. Feeling the pressure, I quietly pushed the chair away and sat down on the floor too.
"Before anything, if it is about giving up the attendance award or taking leaves to tie equally with you all, I will have to refuse. My pride wouldn't allow for it. It doesn't matter if you try to pressure me."
I was shit scared. That had to be the only reason for them to seek me out.
Staring at me as if I was an exotic animal, they began laughing and giggling.
"You are the same regardless of the lifetime, huh." (?)
Then, they began their mind-boggling explanation.

I held my head with one of my hands and summarized everything they explained to me,
"So, let me get this straight. You mean to say that I was a husband of each of you in a previous life. In all your cases, it was a different world. And the reason you could find me now was because of our soul-links. The three of you with me. You know, that is the craziest thing I have ever heard in a while. I don't think busy people like you will have time or use to lie to me. So, I will trust your words."
The three of them relaxed and sighed out in relief.
I seated myself back in the chair, while they started looking around my room. It made even less sense given what my previous life on Earth had been like. I was in deep thought over this.
"So, why do you think I don't remember any of this? Also, how did I end up being soul-linked with the three of you? Wouldn't that make it possible that I might have made soul-linked with a few others too?"
The three pairs of eyes stared at me with such intensity, that I wanted to curl up in the hole I had dug for myself.
"Yeah, it is not the most important thing right now for sure. Haha...Hah...
So, does that mean all three of you love me now? That is really just rushing things, regardless of your past memories. And honestly, we are strangers the same way we were before the memories."
They showed me a genuine smile, unlike before. I was washed over by the affection radiated from their smiles. Cheesy, I know, but it was the first for a dude with no romantic experience.
And just as we were about to continue the conversation, there was a knock at the door.
