Great Izuchi used Agility again, raising its Speed by another two stages.
At this point, Great Izuchi’s Speed had reached its maximum boost of six stages.
With a six-stage Speed increase, Great Izuchi’s Speed was now four times its original value.
“Roar!”
Great Izuchi charged forward, rushing straight toward Arzuros.
“Roar!”
Arzuros charged as well.
It was using one of its own attacks—Charge Attack.
Whoosh!
Just before the two monsters collided, Great Izuchi suddenly leaped to the side.
As it narrowly avoided Arzuros’s attack, its enormous tail whipped around.
Powerful Tail Swing!
Bang!
The sharp hooked claw at the end of Great Izuchi’s tail tore into the soft, unarmored flesh of Arzuros’s abdomen, carving open a massive wound.
Blood and flesh spilled onto the ground.
“Graaagh!”
Arzuros let out a painful roar and abruptly stopped its charge.
Arzuros had underestimated Great Izuchi’s speed.
As a result, it had been severely wounded by a single attack.
“Roar!”
Great Izuchi spun around and leaped into the air, once again using Powerful Tail Swing.
It didn’t stop attacking simply because Arzuros was howling in pain.
Its enormous tail came crashing down onto Arzuros’s head.
However, Great Izuchi struck with the back of its claw, rather than the sharp edge.
So instead of splitting Arzuros’s skull open, the impact simply knocked the monster unconscious.
Bang!
Great Izuchi landed gracefully.
Behind it, Arzuros staggered several times before collapsing unconscious.
“Go! Poké Ball!”
Seeing that Arzuros had lost consciousness, Zhang Tian immediately threw a Poké Ball.
Bang!
A flash of red light appeared as Arzuros was absorbed into the Poké Ball.
The Poké Ball landed on the ground and shook several times.
Then it stopped.
Arzuros had been captured.
A severely wounded and unconscious Arzuros simply didn’t have the strength to resist the Poké Ball.

Zhang Tian stroked his chin as he studied the system’s information.

Zhang Tian released Arzuros from its Poké Ball before taking out a Pokémon-specific healing spray and spraying it all over the injured monster.
Arzuros shook its head.
It gave Zhang Tian a complicated look before walking over to the Kestodon carcass and beginning to eat greedily.
Seeing Arzuros start eating, Great Izuchi joined the feast without hesitation.
After evolving, its body had become even larger, so it was quite hungry as well.
Once Arzuros had eaten its fill, it lay down on the ground and began snoring loudly.
A huge bubble of snot formed at its nose.
Then, slowly, the wounds on Arzuros’s body began to heal.
“In the game, when monsters are seriously injured, they often retreat somewhere safe and sleep to recover their health.”
“I didn’t expect monsters in the real world to possess the same recovery ability.”
“It’s much slower than in the game, but it’s still pretty impressive.”
“At this rate, Arzuros will probably need more than ten days of sleep to fully recover.”
“That’s far too slow. I need to think of another solution.”
Zhang Tian stared at Arzuros’s wounds and fell into thought.

Zhang Tian climbed onto Great Izuchi and headed toward the Vigorwasp’s location.
A Vigorwasp was a large green insect-like creature about 0.4 meters tall.
In the game, if a hunter picked up a Vigorwasp and then released it, it would release a cloud of green mist.
Anyone standing within the green mist could recover their health.
“Go, Poké Ball!”
After finding the Vigorwasp, Zhang Tian threw a Poké Ball.

The Poké Ball barely moved before successfully capturing the Vigorwasp.
Its weakness was obvious.

Zhang Tian was quite satisfied with Vigorwasp’s Ability.
After recalling Vigorwasp into its Poké Ball, Zhang Tian looked toward the bamboo forest in the distance.
While operating the drone earlier, he had noticed a flock of Gargwa inside.
“Great Izuchi, let’s go into the bamboo forest.”
Zhang Tian pointed toward the forest.
“Roar.”
Great Izuchi nodded slightly before charging toward the bamboo forest.
The effects of Agility had not yet worn off, so Great Izuchi was still moving incredibly fast.

With every heavy step, Great Izuchi smashed through bamboo stalk after bamboo stalk.
The enormous commotion sent the Gargwa in the bamboo forest fleeing in panic.
Unfortunately for them, Gargwa were far too slow.
Before long, Great Izuchi caught up with the flock.
One swipe per bird.
In no time, it had taken down eight Gargwa.
Compared with Great Izuchi, Gargwa were certainly small.
But they weren’t actually tiny.
They stood more than two meters tall.
“The hunt is complete. Let’s go.”
Zhang Tian had Great Izuchi gather the Gargwa together before recalling it into its Poké Ball.
He then activated his world-traveling ability and returned to the living room of his old family home.
Looking at the pile of Gargwa filling the living room, Zhang Tian smiled in satisfaction.
These eight Gargwa would provide enough food for quite some time.
Even with Great Izuchi and Arzuros’s enormous appetites, they should be able to eat for a while.
