Mary’s body stumbled into the ground, but she quickly got up and stared at Athissa in disbelief.

She opened her mouth to argue, but saw the three men getting close.

“GOOO!” Athissa screamed at the top of her lungs.Full novel: My Second Personality Beats Up Unfaithful Bastards — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Mary scrambled to her feet and ran away as fast as she could.

She didn’t look back and continued running as their lives depended on hers.

“Athissa, please wait for me!” Mary cried out as she forgot she could shift into her wolf.

On the other side, Athissa stared at Mary’s retreating body.

Relief washed over her since Mary was finally safe.

The three men stopped before her as they watched Mary escape.

“Should I chase that girl further?” The man asked.

“No need, she’s not even pretty,” the naked man chuckled.

He crouched down and stared at Athissa’s body, who was lying flat to the ground.

Athissa buried her face in the dirt as cold sweat formed on her forehead.

She was breathing heavily, and her consciousness was starting to fade.

“No…no.

Not again,” Athissa muttered to herself since it wasn’t the first time she had experienced that feeling.

However, the three men thought she was talking to them.

“Haha!

Miss, your friend just abandoned you.

She left you to save herself and to respect her wishes.

We will take good care of you.

So be a good girl and let us be satisfied,” the naked man went closer to Athissa’s ears and whispered those words.

Athissa remained still for a few seconds before her hand scratched the naked man’s eyes.

Her fingertips dug into his skin.

“AAAGH!”

He recoiled, clutching his eyes as blood trickled between his fingers.

“You bitch!

What have you done!”

The naked man raised his hand to strike her, but before his palm could reach her face—

Athissa caught his wrist.

The naked man froze.

He felt something was wrong.

Athissa had been barely conscious a few seconds ago, but now, her grip felt like iron.

Then she slowly lifted her head from the ground.

Her hair was covered in dirt, and a blood stain was seen at the corner of her lips.

But the most frightening thing was her eyes.

They were glowing.

Like gold.

A bright, unnatural gold.

The other two men behind instinctively stepped backward.

“What… the hell?”

Athissa tilted her head, and a strange smile appeared on her lips.

“You touched me,” she said, and her voice sounded different.

Calmer, but almost amused.

The naked man gritted his teeth and tried to pull his arm away, but he couldn’t.

Then Athissa suddenly twisted his wrist.

CRACK!

“AHHRGH!”

The naked man pulled himself forcefully and dropped to his knees.

By then, Athissa stood up fast and before the he could recover, she drove her knee into his stomach.

THUD!

The naked man folded over and vomited onto the ground.

Athissa grabbed the back of his head and slammed his face into the dirt.

BAM!

Again.

BAM!

Until the man went limp.

“You’re mated, yet dare to touch another woman!

Pwe!” Athissa spat into the naked man’s body.

The remaining two men stared at their fallen companion.

They were too shocked to even move their body to help, and they could only watch such a scene.

“What… what are you?” The man asked, staggering backward.

Athissa wiped the blood from her mouth with the back of her hand.

“I’m a doctor.”

The man blinked.

“A doctor?

Then why—”

Before he could finish his words, Athissa kicked him in the ribs.

CRACK!

The man flew several feet away and crashed against a tree.

He tried to stand up, but Athissa was already there.

She grabbed his collar and pulled him forward before smashing her forehead against his nose.

CRUNCH!

Blood immediately poured down his face.

“Blood… Blood!”

The man yelled and looked at his other comrade, who was shaking while looking back at him.

Before he could speak, Athissa used that time to grab his arm and throw him over her shoulders.

THUD!

His back hit the ground hard enough to knock the breath out of him.

“Stay down.”

Athissa smiled in satisfaction of her work.

She turned her head to look at the last one.

“Are you just going to stand there and watch your friends bleed?” Athissa asked teasingly.

The man, who seemed the youngest of the three, peed himself from fear.

He was standing still and his eyes were locked into Athissa’s.

“Don’t hurt me,” the man whispered as his body shook and his knees nearly gave out.

Athissa stared at him.

For several seconds, she said nothing.

The golden glow in her eyes flickered strangely.

Then Athissa slowly approached the man.

“Please…” the man whispered as he closed his eyes.

Athissa stopped directly in front of him.

“You’re afraid?”

The man nodded frantically.

“Good.”

He swallowed.

“Because that’s what we felt earlier—”

The man suddenly grabbed a small knife hidden beneath his clothes.

“DIE!”

He thrust it toward Athissa’s stomach, but she moved faster and caught his wrist.

The blade stopped only inches from her body.

The man’s eyes widened.

“What the fuck!?”

Then Athissa twisted his arm behind his back.

“AAAH!”

The knife fell into the dirt and Athissa kicked it away.

Then she slammed the man’s face against the nearest tree.

BAM!

He cried out.

“Aren’t you ashamed of being beaten by a woman?” Athissa asked menacingly.

She grabbed his hair and pulled his head back to look at him in the eye.

“Bullshit!” The man cursed and tried to kick Athissa, but she slammed him against the tree again.

BAM!

“You attacked us.”

BAM!

“You chased us.”

BAM!

“You tried to hurt us.”

The man collapsed on his knees.

Athissa grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him back up.

His face was covered in dirt and blood.

“Now tell me…”

Athissa’s eyes narrowed.

“Who sent you?”

“I—I don’t know!”

Athissa stared at him.

The man couldn’t hold his gaze and looked down.

“Tell me and I’ll set you free,” Athissa said.

The man’s eyes flicked back with hope.

“You promise?” He said pleadingly.

“Yes, that is if you give me the correct answer.

Lie, and your tongue will be split in half.”
