"Clara, it’s one thing if you don’t want to look after your sister, but how can you bully her? Jasmine is delicate and frail; she could never withstand a push like that."

In the villa’s grand hall, a middle-aged woman in a tailored silk dress glared at the girl standing before her, whose expression was cold and distant.

A young man wearing gold-rimmed glasses frowned at the girl. "As your eldest brother, I know you’ve suffered a great deal all these years you were living on your own. It’s understandable that you feel it’s unfair, but Jasmine is innocent. Even if you hold a grudge, you can’t take it out on her. We’ve brought you home now. From now on, we’ll make it up to you, doubly so."Full novel: My Sister Is Too Kind—She Gave Every Mad Dog a Home — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The silver-haired young man helped the delicate girl in the white dress up from the floor, his eyes filled with anguish. "Jasmine, let your second brother take a look. Are you hurt anywhere?"

Jasmine Sinclair stared blankly at the scene before her.

’What’s going on?’

’Just a second ago, she was in bed, furiously hammering out negative reviews for the novel her nemesis, Jessica Adler, had written—one of those "True Heiress with a Billion Hidden Identities" stories. She’d been pounding on her keyboard so hard it practically fell apart. How did she end up here in the blink of an eye?’

[Host, greetings. I am your Abnormal Transmigration System, number 777. You have transmigrated into the novel *True Heiress She Only Has A Little Bit of Armor* and now inhabit the body of the ’green tea’ supporting character, the fake heiress Jasmine Sinclair. Your primary mission is to maintain her ’green tea’ persona, alter the original character’s tragic fate, and survive until the story’s conclusion.]

’A system? Transmigration?’

’Holy crap, no way. Did I actually catch the transmigration trend and end up in a book?’

She had transmigrated into that trashy novel by Jessica Adler, inhabiting the body of the ’green tea’ fake heiress who shared her name: Jasmine Sinclair.

The Jasmine Sinclair in the book was the ultimate ’green tea’—stupid, dramatic, and a master of playing the pitiful, helpless victim. She’d burst into tears at the slightest disagreement and was always plotting behind the scenes to harm the true heiress, Clara Sinclair. She was also obsessed with competing against other women, constantly comparing herself to the true heiress, only to get brutally shut down every single time.

After being kicked out of the Sinclair family, she even went to her supposed best friend, Shannon Ashford—who was a criminal and a vicious side character in another one of Jessica Adler’s angsty novels—and asked for help hiring someone from the criminal underworld to kill Clara Sinclair. Her motto was basically, ’If I’m going down, I’m taking the female lead with me. Let’s all burn together.’

Unsurprisingly, she failed, and her story ended with a shiny pair of handcuffs and a life sentence.

’Based on the current scene, I must have transmigrated to the very beginning of the novel. This is the part where Clara Sinclair arrives at the Sinclair home for the first time, and Jasmine intentionally takes a fall to frame her for pushing her.’

’In the book, when the Sinclairs saw Jasmine fall, they didn’t even bother to get the facts straight and immediately demanded Clara apologize. Jasmine then put on a whole show, saying things like, "Sister didn’t mean to, please don’t blame her..." Her words were so dripping with ’green tea’ manipulation, you could practically smell it coming off the page. But the Sinclairs were hopelessly addicted to her brand of tea and ate up every last drop of her act.’

’Clichéd plot, clumsy schemes, and side characters with the IQ of a rock. It’s exactly the kind of dogshit you’d expect from that brain-dead bitch Jessica Adler, whose cerebellum clearly never developed and whose cerebrum is only half-baked.’

"I didn’t push her."

Jasmine Sinclair’s train of thought was derailed by a cool, clear voice. She looked toward the sound and saw a girl with shoulder-length hair leaning against the sofa.

The moment Jasmine Sinclair got a clear look at the girl’s face, her own eyes lit up. Her gaze was like a fly that had just spotted a cracked egg, eager to latch on and take a bite.

’It was a face that was cool, sharp, and aloof—truly a masterpiece among masterpieces from the Mother of Humankind’s own sculpture exhibit.’

’Her bone structure was simply to die for. The sharp lines of her cheekbones and jaw were as exquisitely defined as the ridge of a snow-capped peak. Her eyes held a natural chill, and her lashes barely flickered when she looked at someone, as if everyone in the room was nothing but trash to her.’

’So this must be the all-powerful female lead, the one with dozens of hidden identities. Just like the book described, a total badass. That look in her eyes, the one that made everyone seem like a piece of garbage, especially made my heart pound.’

’Jessica Adler had written the female lead to be ridiculously overpowered. She had more hidden identities than I’d read trashy novels. A master hacker, a reclusive miracle doctor, an esports legend, a world-class race car driver, a genius fashion designer, a mysterious composer, a master perfumer, the secret mastermind behind a top conglomerate, a math prodigy, the youngest professor of physics... the list went on and on, and they hadn’t even uncovered all of them by the end of the book.’

’Trying to compete with a monster of hidden identities like her? That’s not just asking for a face-slapping, it’s holding your face still while they wind up.’

Clara Sinclair felt her skin crawl under that intense, burning gaze. Her hand, resting on the leather sofa, unconsciously began to pick at the material.

’What is wrong with this Jasmine Sinclair?’

’Just a moment ago, her eyes were filled with provocation and smug satisfaction. Now, her stare is all... sticky and clingy, like she wants to ask me out or something. Is she doing this on purpose just to gross me out?’

’A clever move, I’ll give her that. And I admit, I’m thoroughly disgusted.’

Madeline Shepherd fought back her anger and spoke to Clara in a soft voice. "Clara, hurry up and apologize to your sister. If you just apologize, we can put this whole thing behind us."

’Her heart ached for the daughter she had lost so long ago, and she couldn’t bring herself to scold her harshly. But the girl’s disposition was just too cold. She hadn’t even called her "Mom" once since arriving, and then she immediately started bullying Jasmine. She wasn’t acting like a proper older sister at all.’

Hearing this, Clara Sinclair sneered, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Hah. Sister? In what world is *she* my sister?"

’I was just about to go upstairs. Then Jasmine Sinclair came running over like a lunatic, let out a bizarre shriek for no reason, and threw herself on the floor. It was a classic setup. I didn’t even touch a single hair on her head.’

’And them? They don’t even ask what happened, just jump straight to demanding an apology from me. Anyone who didn’t know better would think Jasmine was their biological daughter and I was the adopted one. If I wasn’t here to investigate the truth about how I went missing all those years ago, I wouldn’t have bothered coming back to the Sinclair family at all.’

"Mom, Eldest Brother, Second Brother, you’ve all misunderstood! My sister didn’t push me. I just tripped and fell all on my own. It has nothing to do with her."

Jasmine Sinclair quickly explained, clinging to Madeline Shepherd’s arm.

’Everyone knows you don’t get a happy ending if you antagonize the female lead. If I want to survive until the finale in one piece, I have to get on Clara Sinclair’s good side. That means I absolutely have to clear up this business with the fake fall.’

Madeline Shepherd gently patted the back of Jasmine’s hand, her voice soft. "Jasmine, dear, don’t be afraid. Even though Clara is my biological daughter, I will treat you both equally. I’ll never show her any favoritism. Now, tell me the truth. Did Clara push you just now?"

"Jasmine, you’re just too kindhearted. Your own knee is all scraped up, and you’re still trying to cover for her."

Jasmine Sinclair glanced at the speaker. He was a man in a black business suit with gold-rimmed glasses perched on his nose. He had a refined, steady air about him, a stark contrast to the fashionable, silver-haired young man standing beside him.

’That must be the eldest brother, Caleb Sinclair. And the one with the silver hair beside him must be the second brother, Simon Sinclair.’

’In the novel, Mrs. Sinclair and these two brothers acted like they were under some kind of spell, doting on Jasmine with absolutely no sense. Mr. Sinclair was the only one who was slightly more rational, though that wasn’t saying much.’

Seeing that the three of them were still unconvinced, Jasmine Sinclair had no choice but to keep explaining. "Mom, Eldest Brother, Second Brother, you’ve truly misunderstood. My sister really didn’t push me. I fell on my own. She even tried to help me up..."

However, before Jasmine Sinclair could finish, Clara Sinclair cut her off with a cold command. "Enough. Shut up."
