With that, the party moved along the rocky terrain, hunting the regular, ordinary Titan Slimes and occasionally a Boss Slime. However, they did not encounter any more Mutated Boss Slimes after that, which was a shame.
When noon arrived, they finally exited the rocky terrain, stepping into a lush, paradise-like terrain filled with flowers of various colors and fragrances. So far, they had hunted more than 150 ordinary Titan Slimes, 11 Boss Slimes, and 1 Mutated Boss Slime. Max did not know whether this was a great hunt or a mediocre one. Now, standing in front of the meadow, they wanted to quickly have some lunch. Anne had brought food, a matter Max had not even bothered to prepare for.
Max wondered whether they should enter the meadow terrain. As far as he could guess from reading books regarding Slime Dungeons, one particular Slime lived within this terrain. It was called the [Prismatic Slime].
This Slime was considered one of the most dangerous Slimes within the Dungeon because it possessed enormous defense and an ability to adapt to any skill that landed on it and failed to killing it. Thus, one had to attack this Slime and kill it in a single strike. If the Slime were to survive, it would adapt to that attack and use it against the very person who had attacked it. It was a truly dangerous Slime. Max simply thought about whether they should proceed down this route or choose a different route, walking toward the forest instead.

Although Max was currently at Level 3, that did not make any difference. If one were to ask, it was even more dangerous now.
Since they had gained a lot of Attribute Points, assigning them had greatly increased their strength. However, the currently targeted Prismatic Slime would easily kill them. If they somehow missed that powerful attack, it would backfire against them.
After the short lunch break, Max explained the situation regarding the meadow and the Slime that lived there. With his newfound understanding of Mana Channeling, Max could use his skill twice in a single row. He believed his skill was strong enough to kill the Slime, at least an ordinary one. He had to check with the others to see if they felt they could kill the Slime in a single attack using their Inborn Skills. He also explained the loot they dropped, especially a seven-colored substance that could be used to replenish Mana in a short amount of time.
After hearing about the seven-colored substance, everyone who had been deep in thought snapped out of it and agreed to hunt. Mana potions were highly expensive. Coming from ordinary families, they did not possess the funds to buy a large amount. However, now that they could obtain an alternative, they would not miss this chance to hunt the Slimes.
With newfound motivation, the party entered the magical meadow. Before they could even walk a few meters from the edge of the terrain, they spotted the [Prismatic Slime], glittering in multiple colors.
The Slime was merely of a regular size; it was nothing like the massive Titan Slime. Max observed it for a short while before deciding to test everyone's combat abilities. If they all possessed enough damage output to kill a regular Prismatic Slime in a single hit, they could easily work together to go against a Boss Prismatic Slime. However, if even a single one of them lacked the power to kill a regular Slime with a single attack, it would become a massive problem.
He hoped they had improved enough, especially after leveling up twice.
"Let us try this one by one. Anne, try to kill it in a single attack," Max called out, instructing Anne to try first.
Without any hesitation, she nocked an arrow and fired. The arrow shot forward like a meteor, breathing fire before perfectly piercing the Living Core of the Slime and destroying it. With a bright burst of light, the Slime died and disappeared, dropping a few raw materials in its place.
Max felt slightly surprised after seeing this Skill from Anne, because she had never used this specific Skill up until now. However, he could not ask her about it, as everyone held their own secrets.

"Very good. Everyone, spread out and hunt the Slimes. If you find a Boss Slime, let us signal each other; we will work together and hunt it. Do not spread out too far," Max instructed, knowing that everyone was now fully capable of hunting and killing the Prismatic Slimes.
Following his instructions, everyone spread out across the meadow and began to hunt. Compared to the Titan Slimes located on the rocky terrain, the Prismatic Slimes were highly abundant; one Slime could be found every few meters. Everyone successfully began their slaughter, taking a quick break only once their Mana was fully depleted.
They continued this process for two hours until they eventually discovered a Boss Prismatic Slime that looked significantly larger and far more imposing.
"Does anybody want to try hunting the Boss?" Max asked, as every single one of the Boss Titan Slimes had been killed by him previously. Thus, he offered them the chance to try killing the Boss, since landing the killing blow provided far more EXP than merely assisting or simply being in the party.
"I will try," Shaun stated. Since he had leveled up and gained a large amount of Attribute Points, he could attempt to kill a Boss. If he missed this opportunity, there would be no other place where he could try confidently. Max nodded his head, and the others also did not object to his volunteering.
Shaun activated his Skill, causing a rock to form in front of him. However, right before he could send the rock out to attack, it suddenly transformed into a round arrowhead and began to rotate. When this round arrowhead made of rock reached its maximum capacity, Shaun sent it flying toward the Boss Slime.
The arrowhead left a shockwave in its wake as it violently landed on the Boss Prismatic Slime. It drilled deep into the monster's body until it struck the Living Core situated in the center, completely piercing through and coming out the other side. The Boss was killed in a single attack. Shaun's face turned pale, as he had expended all of his Mana on this single strike.
However, it was entirely worth it, since he now possessed the confidence to hunt Boss monsters and obtain more EXP by landing the killing blow. Everyone exclaimed and patted him on the shoulder for his achievement. Subsequently, everyone volunteered for their next Boss kill.
After collecting the loot, the party continued to farm the Prismatic Slimes until the afternoon. They even killed four more Boss Prismatic Slimes in quick succession. Everyone took their turn and successfully achieved a kill, with the exception of Jeannie, since she was a Healer.
The Expedition would end within one hour. Currently, they stood at the very edge of the meadow. Directly in front of them stood a forest. They had started their journey in a forest, and now they had ended at a forest. However, this particular forest looked damp rather than dry.
According to his knowledge, there were a few specific Slimes that lived within damp areas. These were the Rot Slime, the Toxic Slime, and the Corruption Slime. However, that did not matter. Since they had leveled up once more, and Max had leveled up to Level 4, absolutely nothing could threaten them inside this Dungeon. The only exception was the Toxic Slime, which they could simply choose to avoid.

After a short discussion and a brief rest, the party entered the forest and began hunting the Slimes, as their time limit was nearing its end.
Having leveled up and gained confidence from killing the Prismatic Slimes, everyone felt comfortable hunting the Slimes existing within the forest. That was, until they discovered a Boss Toxic Slime. It actively targeted Peter, who had attempted to attack it at close range, only to fail miserably and become poisoned.
"Fall back! Jeannie, heal him!" Max instructed, ordering everyone to fall back from the Slime, which currently exuded a mist-like fog.
Max immediately unsheathed his sword. Ever since entering the Dungeon, he had strictly used his bow, as he had mainly been hunting Titan Slimes, which would be highly difficult to face with a sword. Now, however, the Boss was small in size, and his Mana pool had also increased after leveling up. Thus, he could utilize his sword without any issues.
[Sword Tempest]!
Max instantly executed a cross-slash with his sword from a few feet away, aiming directly at the muddy-looking Toxic Slime. Suddenly, a gust of wind composed of moon blades erupted, centering on the Slime. Every single moon blade landed perfectly on the target. The multiple hits struck the Living Core, destroying it even before the attack could finish.
The [Sword Tempest] had become strong. It was simply overkill to use it on a Slime Boss. Even the Titan Boss Slime would fall to this attack.
Jeannie successfully healed Peter. With very little time remaining, they quickly resumed hunting the Slimes. Max requested the party to spread out and find more Boss Slimes for him. He needed to kill as many Boss Slimes as possible. If they found a Mutated Boss, that would be even better.
With only half an hour remaining on their time limit, they specifically targeted all kinds of Bosses: Toxic Bosses, Rot Slimes, and Corruption Slimes. They even found one Shadow Slime Boss. Ultimately, after entering the damp forest, the party had killed a total of 13 Boss Slimes.
