“You!!” Hearing this, Hu Luoluo could no longer maintain her gentle image.

Her face contorted with ferocious anger.

The heavy tension in the air made everyone hold their breath, not daring to make a sound.Full novel: My Villain Mate Won’t Play His Role — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Su Cha, your demands are a bit too much.

If you want me to accept these terms, my male must also enter the arena,” Yunxi said.

Her words were reasonable, but she refused to yield an inch.

Su Cha glanced at Mo Ze, who was frowning tightly beside Yunxi.

“Fine.”

“If you lose, you must also kneel and apologize to us.

From now on, you will stay far away from anywhere we appear,” Hu Luoluo demanded.

“Fine.” Su Cha’s resounding voice reached the ears of every Beastman present.

Sitting at the head of the gathering, Mo Nian felt this was somewhat inappropriate, but he could not interfere in a dispute between females.

“Good!

Then I ask the Clan Leader and the elders to bear witness today.

Whoever loses this match against Su Cha will fulfill the terms!” Yu Yue’er announced loudly, full of arrogance.

If she was only eighty percent sure that Lang Tu could win, having Mo Ze participate made it an absolute certainty.

“Su Cha, you may choose three males as your partners to fight in your place for this match,” the Clan Leader finally stepped forward and said.

Everyone looked at Su Cha searchingly, wondering who she would pick.

Mu Beichen couldn’t hold back anymore and tugged at Su Cha’s sleeve.

“Do you want to consider choosing me?

I can reluctantly agree to help you defeat Mo Ze.”

His frivolous tone made it sound like a joke, but the look in his eyes was surprisingly earnest.

Unfortunately, Su Cha couldn’t even be bothered to spare a glance at the culprit who had drawn all this hostility toward her.

“Get lost.

If it weren’t for you, would I have to fight while injured?”

In the original book, Hu Luoluo was just a simple background character with some status.

She hadn’t interacted much with Su Cha and had very little screen time.

Now, however, because of the unexpected variable that was Mu Beichen, she had directly locked horns with her.

Assuming Su Cha was talking about her injured left hand, Mu Beichen spoke with a mix of guilt and grievance.

“I told you not to fight me, but you insisted on making a move.”

“Are you sure you don’t want…” Mu Beichen wanted to salvage the situation, but Su Cha had already completely removed the bamboo splints and cloth bandages from her hand and was walking toward the center of the crowd.

Enduring the pain, Su Cha flexed her left hand.

She walked up to Yang Ying and whispered something in her ear.

Yang Ying froze for a moment, then nodded, her face full of worry.

After giving her instructions, Su Cha turned back to the Clan Leader.

“There’s no need to find other males.

I’ll fight myself.”

GASP!

Incredulous gasps instantly erupted from the crowd.

“Su Cha must be crazy,” they whispered after the initial shock wore off.

Even Yu Yue’er and the others couldn’t believe Su Cha would make such a decision.

After all, Mo Ze was the most talented Fifth-rank Beastman in the clan.

Even the Clan Leader was startled.

He spoke up in disapproval, “You are just an ordinary female, while Mo Ze is a Fifth-rank Beastman.

Yu Yue’er and Hu Luoluo’s males are also Fourth-tier Beastmen.”

Su Cha didn’t reply; she simply walked straight onto the arena platform.

The delicate young girl stood there, her petite yet upright figure looking like a picturesque scene.

She ran her pale fingers through her smooth, jet-black hair, braiding the loose strands bit by bit before tying the end off with a strip of cloth.

“I’m ready.” Having secured her hair, Su Cha drew the bone knife she carried on her leg and held it defensively in front of her chest.

The first to enter the arena was Yu Yue’er’s male—Lang Tu, a Fourth-tier Beastman of the Wolf Clan.

At the Clan Leader’s command, Su Cha struck first.

She closed the distance rapidly, her figure darting past so fast she was almost a blur.

Relying on his Beastman instincts, Lang Tu dodged by a hair’s breadth.

The very next second, however, Su Cha flipped through the air over his head, rebounding to deliver a vicious kick to his chest that forced him several steps back.

A sudden chill pressed against his neck, and drops of blood fell.

In just three moves, the victor had been decided.

“Lang Tu, are you stupid?!

Don’t you know how to transform into your beast form?!” Yu Yue’er scolded him, flustered and exasperated.

Recovering his senses, Lang Tu looked at his female but said nothing, stepping down from the arena in defeat.

Any Beastman with a bit of experience could tell that it wasn’t that he didn’t want to undergo Transformation—Su Cha’s speed was simply too fast, and she hadn’t given him the chance.

“First match, Su Cha wins.”

Although they all knew Su Cha had once defeated Hu Xiao, who was also a Fourth-tier Beastman, they hadn’t expected her to win so effortlessly while her left hand was injured.

The Clan Leader kindly asked Su Cha, “Do you need to rest for a moment before the next match?”

“No need.

Continue,” Su Cha replied, her voice completely indifferent.

Next was Hu Luoluo’s male, Hu Xu.

He was also a Fourth-tier Beastman, but he had reached the fourth tier many years earlier than Lang Tu.

Learning from Lang Tu’s mistake, Hu Xu underwent Transformation into his beast form the instant the Clan Leader said to start, launching the first attack at Su Cha.

An orange glow of combat aura radiated from Hu Xu’s body.

Su Cha easily evaded it with a side flip.

After a few exchanges between beast and human, three scratches from Hu Xu’s claws marred Su Cha’s face, oozing a small amount of blood.

Likewise, Hu Xu’s back had been cut by Su Cha’s dagger.

Su Cha haphazardly wiped her face with her sleeve.

She switched the bone knife to her left hand and pulled out a small knife forged by Cang Yuan from her sleeve.

Holding one forward and one backward, she assumed a dual-wielding stance.

As the next attack came hurtling toward her, Su Cha leaped fiercely into the air, spinning her body around to perfectly evade Hu Xu’s paw strike.

When Hu Xu landed to absorb the impact, a pool of blood spread out from beneath him.

He was just about to launch another attack when a voice stopped him.

“Hu Xu, you’ve lost.

Step down and stop the bleeding.

If you keep fighting, you will bleed to death.”

The speaker was a middle-aged Beastman in the clan.

Su Cha recognized him as one of the Witch Doctor’s males, Bai Yan.

From his vantage point, he could clearly see that the major artery in Hu Xu’s leg had been severed.

Su Cha halted her offensive.

No longer paying attention to Hu Xu as he left the arena, she signaled for the Clan Leader to continue.

Mo Ze wore a set of silver-white brocade robes made from the finest fabric in the clan.

Part of his jet-black hair was tied up high, while the rest cascaded down his back.

He wore a hair crown custom-made by Yunxi, and a round gemstone hung at his waist, trailing a cute, miniature fox tail from its bottom edge.

He looked gentle as jade, noble and elegant.

With a slightly heavy expression, Mo Ze spoke.

“Su Cha, I don’t want to fight you.

You cannot defeat me.”

The fifth rank was a watershed.

Some Beastmen would remain at the fourth tier for their entire lives.

While Su Cha could use her own advantages to defeat two Fourth-tier Beastmen, in the face of absolute power, those advantages wouldn’t play much of a role.

Su Cha remained completely unmoved.

Today, she was going to tear down the self-righteous superiority of Yu Yue’er and the others.

She would use her strength to seize absolute authority and completely break free from the constraints of the female lead’s plotline.

Even though the price of settling this once and for all was a bit steep…

“How will we know if we don’t try?”

Mu Beichen, who had originally thought he had a solid grasp of Su Cha’s strength, once again fell into deep thought.

He wondered why an ordinary female without even a beast mark dared to stand before a Fifth-rank Beastman without changing her expression.

Soon, Mo Ze and Su Cha began to fight.

Neither of them was weak.

Compared to Mo Ze’s elegant and methodical movements, every one of Su Cha’s actions was far more streamlined.

There were no flashy moves; every strike and stance aimed solely for vital points, forcing Mo Ze to eventually transform into his beast form.

“Su Cha actually forced Mo Ze to reveal his beast form.

It seems she really does have some strength.”

“Look at her left hand.

Every time she attacks, she’s a fraction of a second too slow.

If she weren’t injured, she might actually win this match,” someone with a good eye for combat praised sincerely.
