Super medkits, spawn effect? That was the type of stuff you would see in games back on Earth!
Also, Shuran was being chased by cultivators from a righteous sect. That immediately told Gu Chen one thing: he didn’t transmigrate into another world; he was still here!
’Good, very good. This means I still have the chance to pay back those bastards from the righteous sects.’ Gu Chen thought to himself.
Although he still had other questions, like where he was currently or how long it had been since his fight with the people from the righteous sects, he would forget everything for now and focus on the system.
As someone who had played video games before, he didn’t need anyone to tell him the type of system he had awakened. As long as he kept recruiting and managing villainesses, he was bound to regain his former strength!
"For now, let’s go save Shuran first." Gu Chen said in high spirits as he stood up. But then, he realised that there was a problem as he looked at himself.
He was currently butt naked without even a handkerchief on him. Aside from that, he was an ordinary person who couldn’t even sense qi.
How was he supposed to rescue a top assassin and get her to submit to him?
"Hey, system, isn’t there like a newbie package or system skill that I can use?" Gu Chen called out, but no response came.
Looks like the system wasn’t one that he could converse with and would only inform him of relevant matters.
Letting out a sigh, Gu Chen summoned the system interface again, and a screen appeared in front of him.
.....
The Villainess Management system!
Host: Gu Chen!
Org: (unnamed)
Org rank: Null (please name the organisation first)
MP: 0/100
Members: 0
...
Inventory/ Store(locked)/ Skills.
....
He stared at the three options at the bottom of the system page. Inventory was obviously where he could store items, probably from the system or from the real world.
The store was self-explanatory but was currently locked. As for skills, Gu Chen raised his hand and touched it.
Or he tried to, because his hand went through the system interface when he did; he couldn’t touch it.
"Huh, that’s not it?" Gu Chen raised an eyebrow and decided to try another way. Instead of touching, he thought of opening the ’skill’ option.
Immediately he did that, the information in front of him changed as a list of skills, along with their explanations, appeared in front of him.
....
(Admin Eyes) Passive: Allows the Host to see through all things. Only works on members of the organisation.
(Direct message) Active: Allows the Host to talk to a single member of the organisation at a time. Cost 1mp for every message.
(Deceiver) Passive: Makes the Host look imposing and mysterious.
(Spawn effect) Passive: A special effect that plays whenever the Host uses a teleportation scroll. The Host currently has no spawn effects.
.....
Gu Chen stared at the list of skills that the system had; his face was expressionless for a long time after reading their descriptions.
He eventually let out a sigh and closed the skill page. He had a lot of things to say about the naming sense of the system as well as the descriptions, but he felt too tired to even complain.
After closing the skill page, Gu Chen opened the inventory page. What looked like an actual inventory of a video game appeared in front of him, and sitting in one of the small box spaces of the inventory was a tiny icon that looked like a present.
Gu Chen focused on it, and a notification appeared in front of him.
....
(Newbie gift pack.)
Open: yes/no
.....
Gu Chen’s eyes lit up upon seeing this. Seems like he had been worried for nothing, his system obviously had something prepared for him!
He immediately picked yes, wanting to open the newbie gift pack. But a red line appeared in front of him instead of the free stuff the system had prepared for him.
....
(PLEASE GIVE THE ORG A NAME FIRST!)
....
Gu Chen was stunned for a moment before letting out a relieved sigh. Good thing he just needed to name the organisation that the system wanted him to create.
He returned to the system’s main page and looked at the spot where the name of the organisation would be. Gu Chen fell into thought.
His system was named the Villainess Management system, and it wanted him to recruit a Villainess. There was also a member count, which meant he would recruit more in the future.
An organisation of villainesses, Gu Chen instantly thought of a name that he felt was very cool.
"Bloody Rose!" He voiced out, feeling pleased with himself.
His naming sense was definitely better than the system’s.
.....
(Bloody Rose as Org name, confirm?)
Yes/No
.....
Gu Chen silently picked yes after seeing this notification.
A new interface popped up after he confirmed his choice.
....
The Villainess Management system!

The Host has gained the following rewards.

...
Gu Chen "..."
His mouth hung open as he searched for words to say after seeing the items he had gotten from the system. He eventually closed his mouth after nothing came out.
’At least I got a Heavenly grade robe; the auto cleaning function isn’t bad either.’ Gu Chen consoled himself.
As someone who had reached the Immortal rank before, he knew that a heavenly grade robe could block the attacks of anyone below the Saint realm.
This was literally a lifesaver for the current him, who didn’t have any strength. He should be fine as long as he doesn’t piss off anyone at the Saint realm or above.
The nascent soul defence spells were good too since he could block the attacks of anyone at or below that rank with them.
Not like he would need to use them when he had his heavenly grade robe. Wait, did the robe also protect his head?
Shaking his head, Gu Chen retrieved the robe and sandals from the system.
They immediately appeared on his body when he did that; he was expecting them to appear in front of him, but the system saved him the stress of manually wearing them.
The robe was a long, flowing Daoist robe with golden patterns around the hems; it looked quite grand and fitting for someone who was once at the Heavenly Immortal realm.
As for the special sandals, Gu Chen didn’t know if it was worth calling them special, but the sandals felt very comfortable. He didn’t have any complaints.
Now that he wasn’t naked anymore, Gu Chen looked like a young master from a big clan. He had a handsome face with captivating green eyes, his long black hair currently fell like a waterfall behind him since he had nothing to tie it.
With the system passive skill, deceiver, always working, Gu Chen really looked mysterious and imposing at the moment.
"Time to go rescue Feng Shuran and get some rewards." Gu Chen smiled in anticipation as he began to head down the mountain.
The system already told him where Feng Shuran was hiding, so he didn’t need to look for her. He was more curious about the rewards for completing the mission.
He was going to get a base for his organisation. Was the system planning to give him a building? And where was it going to place it?
Also, what was the difference between a super medkit and an ordinary medkit? He knew their differences in video games, but was it going to be the same in real life?
That wasn’t all, Gu Chen was still secretly curious about the gold tier spawn effect.
While thinking about all of these, Gu Chen had unknowingly rushed to the foot of the mountain. Reaching here, he found out that he was faced with a vast rock field.
All he could see ahead of him were rocks of different shapes and sizes.
’Just where is this place?’ Gu Chen frowned. He had lived in this world for hundreds of years after transmigrating for the first time and had travelled to all the continents. But he had never seen this place or heard of it before.
Not letting the thought of that slow him down, Gu Chen made his way to the back of the mountain, where he found a thick forest instead of a rock field like the one in front of the mountain.
’Really strange,’
Climbing over huge vines and tree roots, Gu Chen made his way along the mountainside while looking out for any openings.
Eventually, he found a cave entrance that was partially covered by moss and overgrown shrubs; it didn’t look like someone had entered it in a long time.
But with his experience, Gu Chen knew that a place like this was the best spot for an assassin to hide. Especially one who happened to be the head of an assassin temple!
With this in mind, Gu Chen walked directly towards the opening.
But the moment he reached the front of the cave, a dagger came flying from inside at a speed that was too fast for the current him to react.
It had already reached him before he even realised that he was attacked!
Thud!
The dagger struck the white robe, right at the position of Gu Chen’s heart...and bounced off.
Gu Chen "!!!"
