Seeing him sitting at the desk dealing with some documents, she didn’t care much and went straight up to ask, “Ye Que, when did you get a girlfriend?”
The man in front of the desk acted as if he hadn’t heard, his pen continuing to sign his name on the documents.
Chi Zaozao, seeing that he was ignoring her, became even angrier.
She walked over, snatched the pen from his hand, and burst out accusingly, “I’m talking to you!
You’re not mute, so why won’t you talk to me?”
This outburst, perhaps, pissed off Ye Que.
He turned his head, his eyes as cold and sharp as a hawk’s, piercing deeply into Chi Zaozao.
“Who allowed you to scream and shout in front of me?”
He was indifferent, like an emperor high above, looking at her as if she were a lowly peasant, as if looking at her for a moment longer would sully his eyes.
Chi Zaozao was afraid of the angry Ye Que, but she was anxious; she just wanted to know if he really had a girlfriend!
“I shouldn’t scream and shout in front of you, I just want to know, do you really have a girlfriend?
Do you really not like me at all?
Ye Que, even if you don’t like me, you could at least say it.
I wouldn’t bother you persistently, really.
Just say the word, and I promise never to cling to you again.”
Not just that he didn’t like her, but that he disliked her a lot.
But instead of saying that, he asked her, “Who told you I have a girlfriend?”
Chi Zaozao looked at him blankly.
“Mommy said so.”
“You women, do you have nothing better to do after eating your fill?”
“…”
Chi Zaozao didn’t understand.
Did this mean her mom had made it up?
That he didn’t actually have a girlfriend?
Chi Zaozao’s eyes turned watery.
“So do you have one or not?”
His piercing gaze hit Chi Zaozao squarely once again as the sharp-minded Ye Que stood up and took a step closer to her.
Chi Zaozao subconsciously took a step back, her heart pounding heavily as she looked at him.
“Have you been drinking?” It was an accusation rather than a question.
Chi Zaozao immediately held her breath and covered her mouth, “No!
I just had some drinks.”
“Chi Zaozao, do you have a death wish?
Drinking at such a young age!”
He was rarely angry, but now he grabbed her and dragged her into the room.
Chi Zaozao, taken completely by surprise, was dragged into the room like a little chicken, thrown into the bathroom, and then he turned on the water, spraying her fiercely.
Chi Zaozao was drenched like a little fish that had leaped onto shore, hopping around until she finally crouched in the corner, holding her head and pleading for mercy, “Enough, Ye Que, enough! Enjoying the story? Read on at novelping dot com.
You just love to bully me!
What’s wrong with me drinking?
I’m eighteen already, can’t I drink?”
“Are you still trying to justify yourself?”
The water continued to spray over her, her loose school uniform soaked through, clinging tight to Chi Zaozao’s body.
She was furious and stood up abruptly, in front of him, quickly stripping off her school uniform.
Ye Que watched her sudden action, his gaze darkening, his handsome face and movements freezing.
Thinking of the women in the bar, Chi Zaozao mustered her courage and also took off her last piece of intimate clothing, a T-shirt, leaving her in just an undershirt.
In one bold move, she stood defiantly before him, not showing any weakness, just like that, drawing near to him.
“Keep going, why don’t you?
Why have you stopped?” Now it was her turn to be the aggressive one.
“…”
Ye Que lowered his gaze to look at the petite and exquisite girl before him, and suddenly, he didn’t know how to unleash his anger.
Feeling uncomfortable, he turned and left the room swiftly…
