“What do you mean, ‘Is this our attitude toward peace talks?'”
Not only was the Suna-nin envoy unafraid, he arrogantly raised his chin even higher.
“Giving you the chance to withdraw is Sunagakure’s mercy.
Don’t refuse a favor when it’s offered!”
Before he could finish speaking, Shinsuke had already lost interest in listening.
He glanced toward Shisui.
The next instant, Uchiha Shisui disappeared in a blur.
When he reappeared, he was already beside the Suna-nin envoy.
Grabbing the man’s shoulder with one hand, he activated the Body Flicker Technique once more, instantly returning to Shinsuke’s side with the envoy.
Immediately afterward, Hyūga Hizashi stepped forward.
With his Byakugan, every chakra pathway in the envoy’s body was laid bare before his eyes.
His hands moved like lightning as he struck several precise Gentle Fist attacks, sealing every one of the man’s chakra points before tossing him onto the ground at Shinsuke’s feet.
Shinsuke crouched down and grabbed one of the envoy’s fingers.
Only then did the man finally realize something was terribly wrong.
“W…
Wait…
We can negotiate the terms…”
Crack!
The crisp sound of breaking bone interrupted him.
His miserable scream had barely escaped his mouth before Shinsuke grabbed his second finger.
“No…
You can’t do this!
We’re envoys…
Ahhh!!”
The second finger snapped instantly.
The agonizing pain made the Suna-nin twitch violently, nearly losing consciousness.
Shinsuke’s expression remained completely indifferent.
From the moment the man walked in with that arrogant attitude, he had already known this wasn’t a peace negotiation.
It was a threat.
Since the other side had already torn away all pretense, there was no reason for him to show mercy.
He calmly reached for the envoy’s third finger.
The Suna-nin’s face immediately filled with terror.
“No!
I know I was wrong!
We shouldn’t have acted so arrogantly!”
Shinsuke merely lowered his head and replied,
“I still prefer the way you looked a moment ago.”
Then…
Crack!
The third finger broke.
Unable to endure the pain any longer, the envoy rolled his eyes back and fainted.
Only then did the other four Suna-nin envoys recover from their shock.
“You bastard!
How dare you treat Suna-nin like this!”
“Just wait until you suffer Sunagakure’s wrath!”
As they shouted, the four immediately turned to leave for Scorpion Sand City.
In their eyes, these Konoha ninja had clearly gone insane.
“Konoha will pay dearly for your arrogance!”
Even as they left, they didn’t forget to throw out one final threat.
At that moment, Shinsuke’s cold voice came from behind them.
“Did I say you could leave?”
“What?”
The four men turned back with expressions of disbelief.
Recalling what had just happened, an ominous feeling instantly rose in their hearts.
They hurriedly quickened their pace.
But Shinsuke’s voice followed them like the whisper of death.
“What makes you think you can threaten me and still walk away unharmed?”
After a brief pause, he calmly gave the order.
“Keep them here.”
“Earth Release: Headhunter Jutsu!”
Having waited for this moment, Yūhi Shinku immediately shouted.
The four fleeing Suna-nin were instantly dragged underground by Earth Release until only their heads remained exposed.
Shinsuke walked back to the unconscious envoy, drew his ninja sword, and drove it viciously through the back of the man’s hand.
“AAAAAHHHHH!!!!”
The unbearable pain jolted him awake instantly.
Placing his index finger against his lips, Shinsuke softly said,
“Shh.”
But with his hand pinned to the ground, the envoy couldn’t possibly suppress his screams.
Shinsuke shook his head regretfully.
“Still not obedient…”
He pulled out the blade and stabbed it through the envoy’s other hand.
An even more miserable scream echoed through the area.
“What did I just say?”
Shinsuke asked calmly.
The Suna-nin desperately bit his lip as sweat poured down his face.
No matter how intense the pain became, he no longer dared make another sound.
“Very good.”
Only then did a faint smile appear on Shinsuke’s face.
“You should’ve done that from the beginning.”
Holding the blood dripping ninja sword, he slowly walked over to the four Suna-nin whose heads were still exposed above the ground.
“Watch carefully.”
“Your companion angered me.”
“So this is what happens…”
The blade flashed four times.
Slash.
Slash.
Slash.
Slash.
The four heads remained frozen in terror, their eyes wide open as life left them forever.
The only surviving Suna-nin trembled uncontrollably.
His teeth chattered as he didn’t even dare breathe too loudly.
Shinsuke nodded in satisfaction.
“You were supposed to die as well.”
“But I need someone to deliver a message.”
“So, for now, you get to live.”
He crouched down and looked directly into the terrified man’s eyes.
“Go back and tell Satetsu two things.”
“First.”
“My name is Uchiha Shinsuke.”
“Tell him to remember it well.”
“Sunagakure will regret making an enemy of me.”
“Second.”
“Tell that defeated stray dog Satetsu that since he dared provoke me, I’ll attack Scorpion Sand City in exactly one hour.”
“He can stay inside and quietly wait for death.”
“Do you understand?”
Seeing Shinsuke’s gaze fall upon him, the Suna-nin frantically nodded.
“Get lost.”
The Suna-nin felt as though he had been granted a royal pardon.
Just as he struggled to get up…
Crack!
Shinsuke suddenly raised his foot and crushed both of the man’s shin bones.
“AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!”
The excruciating pain almost drove him insane.
Shinsuke’s voice sounded once again like the Grim Reaper himself.
“If you haven’t left within one minute…”
“Then don’t ever leave.”
The Suna-nin was on the verge of a complete mental collapse.
Yet he didn’t dare hesitate for even a moment.
With both hands pierced through and both legs completely broken, he could only drag himself across the ground like a worm, inch by inch, leaving a long trail of blood across the sand.
Watching the man’s retreating figure, Shinsuke smiled.
“It seems my medical skills have improved again.”
“Even someone this badly injured can still move.”
“What a true medical miracle.”
Silence filled the area.
Many Konoha ninja looked at Shinsuke’s back with complicated expressions.
There was respect.
There was fear.
And there was even a trace of fanatic admiration.
…
Inside Scorpion Sand City.
After hearing the surviving envoy’s tearful report, Satetsu’s entire face turned purple with rage.
He smashed the wooden table before him into pieces with a single punch.
“Uchiha…
Shinsuke!!”
He ground out each word through clenched teeth.
“Bastard!”
“How dare he humiliate Suna-nin like this!”
“He’ll pay for this!”
One of the nearby Suna-nin immediately asked,
“My lord, shall we fight the Konoha ninja head on and make them pay?”
Satetsu merely snorted coldly.
“I’ll make them pay…”
“But not now.”
“Pass down my orders.”
“Every ninja is to return to the village with me immediately.”
“As long as the village sends reinforcements…”
“I’ll make sure Uchiha Shinsuke dies in the Land of Wind!”
…
One hour later, Shinsuke launched his attack exactly as promised.
However, Scorpion Sand City offered almost no resistance.
Satetsu had already withdrawn with all of his ninja.
Only ordinary soldiers and panicked civilians remained behind.
The Konoha ninja swept through the city as though entering an empty land, spending half a day stripping it of everything of value.
Their final haul reached an astonishing two billion ryō.

Hearing the system’s notification, Shinsuke’s face lit up with a smile.
Standing atop the city walls, he looked down at the busy ninja transporting mountains of treasure below.
The corners of his mouth slowly curled upward.
“No wonder so many people long for war…”
“When war brings profits like this…”
“Who wouldn’t love it?”
