The battlefield was shrouded in smoke and dust.
Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju locked eyes, both carrying complex emotions in their gazes.
Just minutes earlier, Tobirama Senju had attempted to strike down Izuna Uchiha with his Flying Thunder God Slash.
Had that blade landed true, Izuna would have had no chance of survival.
But Uchiha Hikaru intervened—as if he had anticipated Tobirama’s movements in advance, he positioned himself in front of Izuna the very instant the spatial distortion appeared, blocking the fatal strike, then sent Tobirama flying with a single kick.
Tobirama crashed through three trees, blood spilling from his mouth, his condition unknown.
“Hashirama, the Senju have already lost.” Madara called out toward him.
Hashirama Senju did not respond.
His gaze rested on his fallen brother, and those usually gentle eyes were now shot through with crimson veins.
He had once had several younger brothers—Kawarama Senju, Itama Senju—who had fallen one after another on the battlefield.
In the Warring States Period, fewer than half of all children survived to adulthood.
Such was the fate of the Senju, and such was the fate of the Uchiha.
And Tobirama was the only brother he had left in this world.
“Wood Style: Wood Human Technique.”
The only answer Madara received was Hashirama’s coldly summoned wood.
A colossal wooden giant rose from the earth, blotting out the sky.
Hashirama stood atop its head, his expression darker than it had ever been.
Madara’s heart sank at the sight.
He and Hashirama had shared a dream since childhood, forged a deep bond through their countless battles.
But now, with Tobirama gravely wounded, Hashirama had clearly lost all reason.
He was forced to face the friend he least wanted to fight.
“Hashirama, if that is your will, then let us fight.”
Madara Uchiha—the Battlefield Rose, the Ninja Shura—was by nature a warrior at heart.
And now, with Izuna still alive, Madara remained the devoted older brother who had not yet fallen into darkness.
An enormous blue Susanoo erupted from the ground in an instant, enveloping his entire body, drawing its blade to meet the wooden giant.
Boom—
At the first collision between the two titans, the entire battlefield trembled.
The wooden giant’s fist crashed against the Susanoo’s blade, and the resulting shockwave uprooted the surrounding trees by their very roots.
Uchiha Hikaru pulled Izuna back several hundred meters to evade the blast of the clash.
“Izuna-sama, we must assist Madara-sama.” Hikaru stared at the battlefield, his expression grave.
Izuna Uchiha shook his head.
His Mangekyo Sharingan was fixed intently on the battle, his eyes filled with nothing but faith in his brother.
“Nii-san will not lose.”
Hikaru’s anxiety mounted.
He was a transmigrant, a former diehard Naruto fan in his past life.
When he had first arrived in this world, he had been excited—after all, who hadn’t gone through a cringey phase in their youth?
Who didn’t envy those Sharingan eyes and the majesty of piloting a Susanoo?
But that excitement quickly gave way to cold dread.
The current timeline was not far from the point where Izuna Uchiha would be killed by Tobirama Senju.
In the original story, Izuna’s death shattered the Uchiha, leading to their eventual surrender to the Senju.
Under Tobirama’s oppressive policies, the Uchiha clan would gradually be reduced to political sacrifices for Konoha.
He had to change that outcome.
The only way was to save Izuna and then launch a counteroffensive against the Senju.
He had barely managed to time his intervention perfectly—saving Izuna and gravely wounding Tobirama—and now Izuna was in no hurry at all?
If not for Hashirama’s restraint all these years, his brother would have been crushed long ago.
And now that he had left Tobirama’s fate unknown, Hashirama was truly fighting to kill.
Sure enough, without the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Madara soon began to show signs of fatigue.
Cracks appeared in the Susanoo’s skeletal frame, its blue luminescence flickering unsteadily.
Hashirama’s wooden giant, however, showed no sign of weakening; it only grew more ferocious, each punch carrying the force to move mountains.
Madara gritted his teeth and held on, but the faint trembling of his arms made it clear—he was approaching his limit.
“Izuna-sama!” Hikaru’s voice was urgent.
Izuna’s expression changed as well.
He finally saw the situation clearly—his brother truly could not defeat Hashirama Senju.
“We must support Madara-sama!” Hikaru no longer waited for Izuna’s response.
He channeled his Mangekyo Sharingan to its fullest.
In his crimson pupils, the tomoe spun at tremendous speed, and a surge of powerful chakra erupted from within him.
A massive blue-green Susanoo rose from the ground, long blade in hand, an imposing sight to behold.
When Hikaru had transmigrated into this body, it had only possessed a three-tomoe Sharingan.
Perhaps the experience of death had stirred his soul, for not long after his arrival, he awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Seeing his brother about to lose, Izuna hesitated no longer.
His Mangekyo Sharingan flared to life, and another Susanoo—this one orange-red—materialized on the battlefield, longbow in hand, its arrows aimed directly at the distant wooden giant.
In an instant, four colossal figures loomed over the battlefield, blotting out the sun, descending like gods of war.
“Hahaha!” Madara threw his head back and laughed, his voice brimming with exhilaration.
“Hashirama, the Uchiha clan is the strongest!
Come!”
Three Susanoo attacked simultaneously.
Madara’s Susanoo charged head-on with its blade, clashing against the wooden giant’s arms and sending splinters flying in all directions.
Hikaru’s Susanoo struck from the left, crossing its dual blades and carving two deep gashes into the giant’s waist.
Izuna’s Susanoo circled the perimeter, loosing volley after volley, each chakra arrow striking the wooden giant with pinpoint accuracy.
Hashirama Senju was undeniably powerful.
He had single-handedly held Madara at bay for years, his strength far surpassing that of ordinary shinobi.
But against the combined assault of three Susanoo, even he could not overcome the disparity in numbers.
The giant’s right hand deflected Madara’s blade, but its left was immediately entangled by Hikaru’s dual swords.
Izuna’s arrows seized the opening, striking the giant repeatedly.
Though they could not deal fatal wounds, they slowed its movements more and more with each hit.
Sweat beaded on Hashirama’s forehead.
His Sage Mode remained active, his regeneration still formidable, but the chakra drain was undeniable.
With three Susanoo rotating their attacks, he had no chance to stop and recover.
“Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence.” Hashirama unleashed his ultimate technique.
In an instant, countless trees erupted from the earth, surging toward Madara and the other two.
“Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation.” Madara, Izuna, and Hikaru simultaneously unleashed their jutsu against the oncoming wood.
The entire battlefield was engulfed in a sea of flames.
Hashirama Senju truly deserved his titles—the Strongest Hokage, the God of Shinobi.
But even the God of Shinobi could not hold out against the relentless assault of three Uchiha warriors.
At last, the wooden giant’s massive frame crashed to the ground.
Hashirama leaped from its head, landing on one knee, gasping for breath.
Madara deactivated his Susanoo and stood before Hashirama, looking down at him from above.
The three Susanoo slowly dissipated behind them, but Hikaru and Izuna had already positioned themselves on either side of Madara, the three of them forming a triangular encirclement around Hashirama.
“Hashirama.
You have lost.”
