Groundhog?
Hearing Orochimaru’s nickname for the enemy Jonin, Rinya, hiding in the back, almost couldn’t hold back his laughter.
These Ninjas’ naming skills are really terrible.
But then again, Orochimaru later became incredibly skilled with Earth Release; maybe he was stimulated by this ‘groundhog’ today.
“Tsunade, you usually do medical research in the village. Why did you run to the front line? And you’re hanging out with Tsume and Shibi?”
Orochimaru’s gaze swept over the three who had just arrived, and he asked casually.
“Sister! Didn’t you say you’d rather die than come to the front line to eat dirt?”
Senju Nawaki also approached, his face full of confusion.
Tsunade glared at her biological brother and violently ruffled his hair.
“Isn’t it because of you, brat! I was worried you’d die out here, so I specially applied to Teacher Sarutobi to come with the supply unit to check things out. It just so happened that I saw the stone giant on the way, ran into those two, and came along.”
As Tsunade pulled hard, Nawaki struggled desperately and begged for mercy: “Sis! Let go! I’m already a mature Ninja, save some face for me!”
Orochimaru couldn’t be bothered to watch the siblings bicker and turned to look at Inuzuka Tsume.
“Lord Orochimaru, we tracked Matsui all the way here, but he slipped away halfway.”
Inuzuka Tsume pointed at several Iwagakure corpses on the ground.
Orochimaru nodded slightly.
“Since Kitsuchi has already retreated with his men, the blockading mission is over. Hurry up and clean up the battlefield. Tsunade, I’ll leave the cleanup to you. I’m heading back to guard the main camp.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Orochimaru didn’t stay for even half a second, turning into a cloud of white smoke and vanishing instantly.
“Orochimaru, you bastard! You threw all the dirty and tiring work to me again!”
Tsunade stamped her feet in anger, her chest rising and falling violently in a criminally enticing manner.
Seeing the tigress lose her temper, Inuzuka Tsume quickly winked at Aburame Shibi.
“Lady Tsunade, we’re going to meet up with Kensuke. We’ll take our leave first!”
With that, the two of them turned on their heels and slipped away.
Great opportunity!
Rinya’s eyes darted around, knowing that this was an opportunity not to be missed.
From what Tsunade said, she would return to Konoha immediately after visiting her brother.
If he didn’t strike up a conversation now, he might not even get to meet her in the future.
He took a deep breath and walked straight up to Tsunade.
“Lady Tsunade, this subordinate has an important matter to report.”
Rinya bowed his head slightly, his gaze landing perfectly between the young woman’s fair, slender neck and her bottomless cleavage, giving himself a feast for the eyes.
Tsunade stopped complaining, her beautiful eyes scanning Rinya up and down.
“A brat from the Uchiha clan? I don’t recall having any relations with your clan. What business could you have with me?”
Nawaki, who had just caught his breath nearby, took a closer look and instantly jumped up as if he had seen a ghost.
“Rinya?! You dead-last actually got promoted to Chunin?! And you even awakened the Sharingan?! Heaven is unfair! I haven’t even awakened a single hair of Wood Release, so why are you stronger than me?!”
Nawaki, filled with jealousy, pointed at Rinya and shouted.
Tsunade rolled her eyes speechlessly at her brother.
Lacking ability himself yet complaining about others making fast progress, he was truly throwing away all the face of the Senju Clan.
“What exactly do you want with my sister? If it’s some trivial nonsense, get lost as soon as possible. My sister is the personal disciple of the Third Hokage, and she’s extremely busy with a myriad of affairs!”
Anxious to protect his sister, Nawaki blocked Tsunade like a ruffled little rooster.
“The matter is of grave importance and must be kept absolutely confidential. Lady Tsunade, please take a step to a quiet place to talk in private.” This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.
Rinya lowered his voice, putting on an enigmatic facade.
Seeing Rinya acting so mysterious, Tsunade’s interest was instantly piqued.
She was free anyway, so she might as well listen for amusement.
“Sis! You really believe his nonsense? The Uchiha are full of schemes, watch out for a trap!” Nawaki got anxious.
“Alright, go and help Takagi and the others clean up the bodies. I’ll be right back.” Tsunade pushed Nawaki aside.
On the surface, Rinya looked calm, but in his heart, he had already taken out his little notebook and written down a heavy grudge against this unlucky future brother-in-law.
How dare you ruin my plans.
Once I become your brother-in-law, I’ll definitely make you peel a layer of skin!
One after another, the two of them slipped into the depths of a quiet, dense thicket nearby.
There was no one around.
Tsunade leaned against a large tree, her arms crossed over her chest, which further accentuated her proud assets.
“Alright, there’s no one else. Uchiha brat, hurry up and tell me your secret. Stop beating around the bush.”
Tsunade’s voice was crisp, with a hint of laziness.
Rinya raised his head, staring straight into Tsunade’s eyes, and spoke word by word.
“Please take me to Shikkotsu Forest, Lady Tsunade. Once we’re inside, I will naturally reveal everything.”
Boom!
These plain words fell into Tsunade’s ears like a sudden clap of thunder!
Her pupils shrank sharply, and her beautiful face was instantly filled with shock!
In the Ninja World, information is life.
Both Orochimaru and Jiraiya knew that Tsunade could summon Katsuyu.
But as for where Katsuyu’s home, Shikkotsu Forest, actually was, absolutely no one else in the entire Konoha Village knew besides Tsunade!
Where did this Uchiha brat in front of her hear the name of Shikkotsu Forest?
Tsunade’s gaze instantly became as sharp as a knife, staring intently at Rinya.
“Brat, who told you about Shikkotsu Forest?!”
Tsunade’s voice turned cold.
Rinya had already expected her to snap.
He wasn’t panicked at all and even shrugged innocently.
“Lady Tsunade, look at me, I’m just a minor Chunin. What kind of threat could I possibly pose to you?”
“Take me to Shikkotsu Forest, and I will naturally tell you everything I know. It even concerns the ultimate destiny of the Senju and Uchiha clans!”
Using destiny as a talking point?
Tsunade was directly amused to the point of laughter.
The people of the Uchiha clan really all had the same mysterious, superstitious nature.
“Fine! I’d like to see what kind of stories you can spin!”
Without any nonsense, Tsunade bit her right thumb, her hands moving fast enough to leave afterimages, and slammed them hard onto the ground.

Bang—!
A large cloud of white smoke suddenly exploded.
The figures of the two instantly vanished from the dense forest.
In the next second, space shifted.
Rinya only felt a blur before his eyes, and his feet stepped onto wet, soft earth.
A faint white mist drifted around, and the air carried a cold, damp chill.
One of the three legendary holy lands, Shikkotsu Forest!
“Kid, we’re here. Hurry up and spill your secret! If you dare play me with nonsense, humph…”
Tsunade clenched her fair little fist, her knuckles cracking, her beautiful face filled with a murderous aura.
She looked fully prepared to blow Rinya’s head off with a single punch if he said even half a wrong word.
Just as she finished speaking, with a’shh-shh’ sound, a palm-sized, blue-and-white little slug crawled up Tsunade’s arm and onto her shoulder.
“Lady Tsunade, why did you suddenly come to Shikkotsu Forest? Who is this child? Is he a new contractor you’ve found?”
The little slug spoke in a soft, cute, and clear loli voice.
Tsunade glanced at Rinya and said to the little slug, “Him? What kind of contractor is he. I just brought him in to ask a few questions.”
Rinya paid no attention to Tsunade’s threat at all, instead looking around this mysterious space with great interest.
Gigantic skeletal remains and viscous liquids were everywhere, carrying a strange tranquility.
“Hey! Brat! Have you looked enough?! Answer me already!”
Tsunade urged impatiently.
“Alright, alright, alright.”
Rinya withdrew his gaze.
Being brought into Shikkotsu Forest by Tsunade meant the first step of his plan was a success.
Talking here, he absolutely didn’t have to worry about being overheard by Black Zetsu or Danzo’s spies.
“For this matter, we have to start chatting from our ancestors of a thousand years ago.”
Rinya cleared his throat and explained slowly, “A long, long time ago, there were no Ninjas in the Ninja World. At that time, a woman fell from the sky. Her name was Ōtsutsuki Kaguya…”
That’s right, Rinya’s plan was to use spoilers to fool Tsunade!
Half-truths, half-lies, with his own personal agenda mixed in, directly destroying Tsunade’s existing worldview from its roots.
As long as he could completely fool her, using his advantageous position to win her over, wouldn’t having children with her be a natural progression?
Except for his system cheat which he couldn’t reveal, the rest of the plot was entirely up to how his mouth spun it.
“Stop!”
Tsunade’s face was covered in dark lines, veins throbbing on her forehead.
“I brought you here, but not to listen to your bedtime mythological stories! Get to the point! Otherwise, my fists won’t have eyes!”
She felt that this brat was absolutely making fun of her!
Rinya put away his flippancy, replaced it with an extremely serious and earnest expression, and stared straight into Tsunade’s eyes.
“Lady Tsunade, what I’m about to say concerns the lives and safety of the entire Senju and Uchiha clans. Please be sure to listen patiently until the end!”
Seeing Rinya’s expression so solemn, Tsunade could only suppress her anger.
She simply sat cross-legged on the ground and crossed her arms.
“Fine, I’ll listen to you spin your yarn.”
