Akaishi Kishimoto did not find the idea of calling Mirai’s guardian particularly funny.

But he respected personal preferences.

Kishimoto had already decided that he was going to have a very serious conversation with Mirai Uzumaki’s guardian.

On the way home, Kushina looked worried.

“What are we going to do, Mirai?

Tsunade and Grandma Mito are definitely going to be angry.”

“They wanted us to make friends at school, but we got into a fight and caused trouble instead!

What do we do?

What do we do?

Grandma Mito is definitely going to be disappointed in us!”

Mirai wasn’t worried at all.

“Answer one question.

Were you happy watching those idiots get beaten up?”

“Well…

yes, but…”

“Then what’s the problem?

Relax.

They just asked us to bring a guardian.

Leave something this small to Lord Mirai.”

“Mirai…”

After arriving from the Land of Whirlpools, the two of them had temporarily moved into the Senju compound.

Calling it a “clan compound” was generous.

Only Mito Uzumaki, Tsunade, and Nawaki still lived there.

With two more Uzumaki children around, the place had finally become a little livelier.

“We’re home!” Kushina called out, forcing herself to smile as they entered.

“Little Kushina, little Mirai, come over here.

How was school today?

Did you have fun?

Make any new friends?”

Mito was sitting in the courtyard enjoying the sunlight, her expression kind and gentle.

“Of course, Grandma Mito!

Everyone was very enthusiastic.

We got acquainted really quickly!” Mirai replied with a bright smile.

Grandma Mito was already old.

She should just stay home and enjoy the sunshine.

He planned to take Tsunade to school instead.

Let’s see which parent dared complain when the Princess of Konoha personally showed up.

And Kishimoto-sensei…

Mirai sincerely hoped he could handle it.

“By the way, Grandma, where’s Big Sis Tsunade?”

“Over there, collapsed on the sofa.

She’s been like that since she came back from Konoha Hospital.”

Mito was clearly dissatisfied with her granddaughter’s lazy posture.

Tsunade was excellent in almost every respect.

Her talent and intelligence were both first-rate.

Unfortunately, she was unbelievably lazy.

Aside from treating patients, she seemed perfectly willing to spend the rest of her life sprawled somewhere doing absolutely nothing.

Oh, except gambling.

She was always energetic when gambling.

It was all Hashirama’s fault!

A mischievous smile appeared on Mirai’s face as he walked toward Tsunade, who was stretched out on the sofa.

He could smell the alcohol before he even reached her.

“Big Sis Tsunade!”

Mirai very sensibly moved behind her and started massaging her shoulders.

“You must be exhausted after working at the hospital all day, right?”

Tsunade stretched comfortably.

Mirai’s eyes widened for a moment at the impressive curves beneath her loose clothing, and his hands nearly stopped moving.

To Tsunade, he and Kushina were nothing more than little kids, so she naturally wasn’t particularly guarded around them.

And Tsunade had never been shy about wearing clothes that showed off her figure.

Mirai certainly wasn’t complaining.

‘If Kushina grows up to be anywhere near this impressive, marrying her will definitely be worth it.’

“You little brat.

Nobody acts this attentive without wanting something.” Tsunade narrowed her eyes.

“Spit it out.

Did you cause trouble at school?”

She had no idea that the little brother she saw as a child was already having rather inappropriate thoughts about his older sister figure.

“Hehe.

Nothing gets past you, Big Sis Tsunade.”

“Today at school…”

Mirai told her what had happened, naturally adding a little extra flavor while casually making the other students—and Kishimoto-sensei—sound slightly worse than they really were.

Tsunade listened while running a hand through her messy blond hair.

Mirai immediately began massaging her scalp too.

“So those kids mocked you two, you lost your temper and beat them up, and then the teacher told you to bring a guardian?”

Tsunade was already getting irritated.

“Who the hell told you to bring a guardian?”

“It’s just a fight!

I fought people all the time when I was a kid.

Nobody ever made me call my family!”

Of course not.

Who in Konoha would dare summon Princess Tsunade’s guardian over a school fight?

Did they want to keep living here?

“It was Kishimoto-sensei!” Mirai immediately sold him out.

“Big Sis, you should teach him a lesson too!”

“He talks from the front of the classroom all day.

Everyone else is quiet, but he’s the one making all the noise.”

Tsunade froze.

Her train of thought visibly derailed.

“You little brat…”

She sighed.

“Fine.

Tomorrow, right?

I’ll personally go settle this for you.”

“I’d like to see who in Konoha thinks I can’t beat them up.”

“Big sis, you’re amazing!”

Mirai immediately started flattering her.

…

The next day, Kishimoto’s office was packed with noisy parents.

“My son came home saying he was attacked at school—with ninjutsu!”

“He only said a few things and got tied up and beaten!

Is there no justice left?!”

“Punish him!

He has to be severely punished!

I don’t care who comes to defend him!”

“He hit someone from the Shimura Clan and thinks he can just walk away?!”

Kishimoto was sweating buckets.

“Everyone, please calm down!

I asked you here today mainly so we could mediate—”

“Mediate?

Mediate my ass!

Bring out the brat who attacked them!

I want to see who dares act this arrogantly in Konoha!”

“Konoha doesn’t tolerate people like that!”

BANG!

The office door was suddenly kicked open.

“Who the hell kicked—”

Tsunade walked in with a cold expression.

Every parent froze.

The entire room went silent.

Princess Tsunade.

The Princess of Konoha and already one of the greatest medical-nin in the shinobi world.

Even children knew who she was.

The Shimura clansman who had been shouting the loudest instantly shut his mouth as if the stream of nonsense from a moment earlier had come from someone else entirely.

Cold sweat rolled down Kishimoto’s face.

“P-Princess Tsunade.

I wasn’t aware you would be coming…”

“You’re the one who told Mirai Uzumaki to bring his guardian?

Well, I’m here.

If you’ve got something to say, hurry up and say it.

Don’t waste the time I could be spending drinking.”

Tsunade slapped a hand down on his desk.

Kishimoto’s vision nearly went dark.

He suddenly wondered whether he had left home on the wrong day.

Mirai Uzumaki’s guardian was Tsunade?!

“And you lot!”

Tsunade pointed at the gathered parents, caring nothing about who was a teacher and who wasn’t.

“Your kids bullied my little brother and sister in the classroom.

Getting beaten up was getting off lightly!

This isn’t over yet.”

“If this isn’t properly resolved before school ends today, I’ll personally stand outside the gate and beat them every time I see them.

Understood?!”

Tsunade hadn’t yet earned worldwide fame as one of the Legendary Sannin.

But in terms of status, even the Third Hokage couldn’t casually order her around.

“Y-Yes!”

The parents certainly weren’t going to argue.

From the moment Tsunade entered the room, none of them had dared say another word.

Demand an apology?

Severe punishment?

At this point, they just wanted to escape with their heads intact.

“Hmph.”

Tsunade snorted and slammed the door behind her as she left.

Such a trivial matter wasn’t worth wasting more time on.

She still needed to go drink, then gamble a few rounds afterward.

Her salary had just arrived.

She wouldn’t feel comfortable until she’d lost it all.

Only after she disappeared did everyone in the office finally breathe again.

The parents looked at one another with miserable expressions before quietly dispersing.

…

At the school gate.

“I think I just saw Lady Tsunade,” Minato said with obvious admiration.

Princess Tsunade was incredibly famous in Konoha and an idol to many people.

Mirai thought to himself, ‘Seeing her is nothing.

I was massaging her last night.’

Because Minato had tried to defend them the previous day—even though it hadn’t accomplished much—he had now become friends with Mirai and Kushina.

For the moment, at least, the three of them could hang out together.
