Chapter 15: Compensation for Emotional Distress

Naruto: Fusion System

An hour later, Uzumaki Rin left the Hokage Tower with a thick stack of banknotes in his arms, completely satisfied.

Thinking back to Uchiha Fugaku's ugly expression when handing over the money, Rin couldn't help but feel a surge of delight.

Aside from being good at producing talented sons, that guy didn't seem to have many redeeming qualities. He even dared to glare at me at the start—but how did that end? Still had to obediently pay up and compensate me for emotional damages.

After an hour of "friendly and peaceful discussion," the matter was finally settled.

Of course, during that hour, Nine-Tails chakra flared up more than once—but there was no actual loss of control, which meant the discussion had been quite "peaceful."

As for why the Hokage's desk ended up shattered… well, it just wasn't sturdy enough. After all, Tsunade hadn't even used much force when she slammed it.

In any case, the incident of the Uchiha "gang" violently surrounding and attacking Konoha's model youth Uzumaki Rin was successfully resolved under the Uchiha clan's "strong public relations efforts."

The model youth Uzumaki Rin received compensation, and both sides signed a settlement agreement.

As for the damage caused to the academy surroundings during the "group assault," the Uchiha clan would bear full responsibility.

As for the offenders themselves, due to their strong background, they were not severely punished. They were merely stripped of their eligibility to join the Konoha Military Police—

Which was basically a lifetime ban from political advancement.

"Damn it… that brat…!"

Back at home, Uchiha Fugaku smashed things in rage.

He was furious—but completely powerless.

He didn't even dare think about retaliating against Rin privately. Before leaving, the Third Hokage had personally warned him.

At this point, Fugaku had ambition—but not the strength to rebel.

What did the Uchiha clan currently have?

At most, one or two Kage-level fighters—and even that was uncertain.

But Konoha?

On the surface alone, there were five Kage-level powerhouses: the Third Hokage, the Sannin, and the White Fang.

And who knew how many more existed in secret?

The Senju clan likely still had hidden veterans, and the Hyuga clan probably did too.

As for Jonin, yes—the Uchiha had quite a few.

But what did that matter?

This was Konoha at its peak. The Third Great Ninja War hadn't even begun yet. Jonin were everywhere.

The power gap was overwhelming.

Konoha could crush the Uchiha clan without effort.

While Fugaku raged, another figure was deep in thought—

Danzo.

In truth, this entire incident had been orchestrated by him.

Those Uchiha fools might not be smart, but they wouldn't normally go after Rin over Obito.

They had only acted because Danzo's people had subtly manipulated them with genjutsu.

Not full control—just psychological guidance.

The Uchiha were already arrogant by nature. Under slight provocation, they rushed straight into trouble.

"Third Hokage… Tsunade… Kushina…" Danzo muttered. "You may go. No need to continue the test."

"Yes."

This incident had been a probe—to test how important Rin was in the Hokage's eyes.

Danzo hadn't expected the Third to stay calm while Tsunade and Kushina exploded instead.

But that only proved Rin's importance to them.

Danzo wanted to act—but he didn't have the power.

Behind Rin stood three Kage-level fighters.

If Kushina lost control, that would make four.

Root was powerful—but Kage-level fighters weren't something you could mass-produce.

After a long silence, Danzo reluctantly gave up on targeting the Uzumaki bloodline.

But then—

He smiled.

Recently, Orochimaru had successfully created a child who survived the implantation of Hashirama's cells.

Danzo had already taken the child in.

"Uzumaki bloodline? How can it compare to Wood Release…" Danzo sneered. "One day, I will sit in the Hokage's seat."

He stepped forward, arriving at Tenzo's training ground, watching the boy silently.

Meanwhile, Rin returned home.

"Rin, don't use such powerful techniques so casually in the future. Even if the Uchiha were in the wrong, you can't just kill them," Tsunade said.

"I wasn't trying to kill them. The ANBU were already watching from the trees. But they didn't step in when the Uchiha blocked me, so I decided to mess with them a bit. With their strength, blocking the Great Waterfall Jutsu wasn't difficult," Rin said casually.

"You already noticed the ANBU?" Tsunade asked in surprise.

"Kushina said the Uzumaki clan has strong sensory abilities. I'm an Uzumaki, and I've awakened a Sage Body—of course I could sense them. Not just those two—I could feel the other three ANBU around the academy as well," Rin said smugly.

After saying that, he lowered his head and continued counting his money.

One hundred thousand ryo.

That was equivalent to a massive fortune.

In both his past and present life, he had never seen this much money.

And yet—

Just by extorting the Uchiha, he got it so easily.

Seems like the Uchiha are pretty rich…

Maybe I should create more "incidents" in the future and squeeze them a bit more?

Just as Rin was thinking about future plans—

Tsunade suddenly grabbed the money from his hands.

"What does a kid need this much money for? I'll keep it for you. You can have it when you grow up," she said.

…Keep it for me?

More like gamble it away.

Rin knew that once money entered Tsunade's hands, it would never return.

Within two days, it would definitely end up in a casino.

"Tsunade… can you at least leave me ten thousand? I want to treat my classmates," Rin said pitifully.

Tsunade looked at his expression, thought for a moment, and finally handed him a single banknote.
