3. The Seat of Power & Responsibility

Naruto : Hypnosis Jutsu(18+)

The Hidden Leaf Village was disgustingly peaceful.

Walking through the bustling streets as the newly appointed Seventh Hokage was an entirely surreal experience.

The midday sun bathed the rebuilt storefronts in a warm, golden glow. Vendors shouted out their daily specials from wooden stalls, children ran through the dirt alleys laughing, and groups of off-duty shinobi chatted casually over steaming bowls of ramen.

The air smelled of roasted pork, sweet dango, and summer heat. It was a perfect, idyllic utopia built on the blood and sacrifices of the Fourth Shinobi War.

And it all belonged to me.

Every single person I passed stopped whatever they were doing to bow deeply or wave with absolute adoration.

"Good afternoon, Lord Seventh!" a fruit merchant called out, tossing an apple into the air and catching it.

I caught the apple he offered and took a crisp bite. I flashed him my best, most blinding Naruto grin, waving back like a lovable, humble idiot. It was almost too easy.

They saw their savior. They saw the boy who contained the Nine-Tailed Fox and saved the world. They had absolutely no idea that a predator was currently wearing his skin.

Behind my cerulean blue eyes, the dark Yin chakra of the Hypnosis System purred. It fed off the complete, unwavering trust these people blindly handed over to me.

The Hokage monument loomed ahead, casting a massive shadow over the center of the village.

My newly carved stone face stared down at the sprawling settlement, placed right next to Kakashi and Tsunade.

The main administrative building sat directly beneath the mountain, a towering structure of red paint and circular architecture that served as the beating heart of the ninja world.

The two Chunin guards stationed at the front entrance instantly snapped to strict attention as I approached, their eyes filled with deep reverence

"Hokage-sama," they greeted in unison.

I gave them a polite nod, keeping up the facade, and stepped past them into the cool, dimly lit corridors of the tower.

Navigating the winding halls was pure muscle memory, courtesy of the reality sync the System had provided.

Shinobi rushed past me carrying mission scrolls, moving out of my way with respectful murmurs. I ignored them all, my mind focused entirely on the empire I had just inherited.

I reached the end of the highest corridor and pushed open the heavy oak doors to the Hokage office.

The room was massive, lined with towering bookshelves and cabinets filled with classified village secrets.

The walls were decorated with the portraits of the previous six Hokage. But my eyes went straight to the massive wooden desk in the center of the room.

It was currently buried under three towering stacks of paperwork.

Shikamaru Nara, my supposed brilliant advisor, was nowhere to be seen. He was probably napping on a rooftop somewhere, avoiding his own responsibilities.

"Perfect," I muttered to myself, the cheerful tone dropping from my voice instantly

I walked over and dropped heavily into the padded leather chair. It squeaked slightly under my weight.

I rested my boots on the edge of the desk, crossing my ankles right next to a stack of budget requests. I spun a pen between my fingers, leaning back and looking out the massive circular window behind the desk.

It offered a bird's-eye view of the entire village.

From up here, I could see everything.

Down below, buried deep underground in the maximum-security prison block, Konan was locked in a dark cell.

Across the village square, Rin was likely chasing Kakashi around the training fields, completely unaware of how easily I could manipulate her unrequited feelings.

And back at the Uzumaki compound, three beautiful, prime targets were waiting for a dinner party that would change their lives forever.

[System Alert: Passive Chakra Gathering.]

[Host is currently in the Seat of Hokage. Authority level maximized. Passive Yin Chakra generation increased by 10%.]

A warm, tingling sensation washed over my skin as the System interface faded from my vision. Even just sitting in this chair made me stronger.

I picked up the first piece of paperwork from the stack, my eyes scanning a dull request for new kunai supplies for the Academy. Playing the role of the diligent Hokage was going to be incredibly tedious, but it was the ultimate cover.

As long as I kept the village running smoothly on paper, no one would ever question what I was doing behind closed doors.

Before I could sign the document with a flawless forgery of Naruto's messy signature, the heavy oak doors to the office clicked open

I immediately dropped my boots from the desk and leaned forward, grabbing a file and pretending to study it intently.

The soft click of sandals against the wooden floorboards echoed through the quiet room.

"You are actually at your desk, Lord Seventh. I am genuinely surprised," a smooth, distinctly feminine voice remarked.

I looked up. Standing in the doorway, balancing a fresh stack of folders against her chest, was Shizune.

My reality sync instantly corrected a few things in my mind. While she was Tsunade's longtime friend and former right-hand woman, in this timeline she had transitioned to serving as my personal executive assistant.

She was also a highly skilled, fully qualified Jonin.

And she was absolutely stunning.

Her traditional dark kimono was tailored differently here, clinging tightly to a surprisingly lush, hourglass figure that her usual baggy clothes used to hide.

The deep V-neckline of her outfit offered a generous, tantalizing view of her heavy, pale cleavage, pushed up effortlessly by the stack of folders she held against her chest.

Her dark, chin-length hair framed a beautiful, mature face. As she walked toward my desk, the slit in her dark skirt parted just enough to tease a glimpse of smooth, toned thighs wrapped in shinobi mesh.

Her dark eyes looked at me with a mixture of professional exasperation and deep, unmistakable affection.

The original Naruto had always been her favorite, and that soft, maternal spot she held for him was practically glowing in her gaze.

"Shikamaru told me to expect you to be out avoiding your duties until at least three,"

Shizune continued, walking gracefully toward the desk and setting the new stack of folders down with a soft thud.

"What can I say?" I replied, letting a charming, slightly sheepish smile touch my lips.

"I figured I should start taking this hat seriously. Plus, Shikamaru is currently sleeping on a water tower near Sector Four, so someone has to do the work."

Shizune let out a soft sigh, her eyes scanning my face with a gentle fondness. "Well, your dedication is highly appreciated, Hokage-sama. These are the finalized ANBU patrol routes for the western border. They require your seal immediately."

As she leaned over the desk to point at the top document, her kimono shifted again, dropping my line of sight directly into the deep valley of her chest.

She was so close I could smell her perfume, a subtle, intoxicating mix of jasmine and old parchment.

My eyes lingered on her pale skin for just a second too long. The System hummed faintly in my mind, a subtle reminder of the new tool at my disposal.

Shizune was a seasoned Jonin with formidable mental discipline. My Level 1 Hypnosis would not break her yet, but it couldn't plant a few dark seeds even if I caught her off guard.

"I will get to it right away, Shizune," I said, my voice dropping just a fraction as I took the pen from her hand.

Our fingers brushed, and I made sure to let my thumb slide slowly and deliberately against hers before pulling away.

Shizune's breath hitched. She pulled her hand back, a heavy dusting of pink suddenly appearing on her cheeks as she stood up straight, her chest heaving slightly as she tried to maintain her professional composure.

"Thank you, Lord Seventh. I will be at my desk outside if you require anything else."

"Actually," I said, leaning back in my chair and locking eyes with her. "Cancel my afternoon meetings. All of them."

She frowned slightly, her protective instincts flaring up. "Are you sure? The Daimyo's emissary is expecting a brief update."

"I have family matters to attend to this evening," I interrupted, keeping my tone smooth but utterly authoritative.

"Clear the schedule. That is an order."

Shizune blinked, the slight resistance in her posture melting under the sheer weight of my command and her own inherent weakness for my host's face.

"Understood, Hokage-sama."

She turned and walked out of the office, the rhythmic sway of her generous hips impossible to ignore. As the heavy doors clicked shut behind her, I let out a dark chuckle.

With Shizune gone, I turned my attention back to the mountain of paperwork.

I grabbed the pen and began signing document after document, tearing through the stacks with an efficiency the original Naruto could never dream of possessing.

It was mindless work, leaving my thoughts completely free to wander through the layout of the village and the various chess pieces at my disposal.

Hinata was completely out of the picture for now, currently away on a grueling, long-term mission with her team.

Her absence was a massive stroke of luck, giving me total freedom inside the Uzumaki household without a vigilant Byakugan user watching my every move.

Then there was Sakura, likely buried chest-deep in the medical department, running the hospital with a tight fist while trying to figure out how to finally corner Sasuke.

She was another legendary beauty I would eventually break, but she was too busy playing the part of the tireless head doctor for now.

And Tsunade was almost certainly lazing her ass off in some private courtyard, drowning herself in premium sake and gambling away what was left of her retirement fund.

Jiraiya was probably close by, wasting his breath trying to court the busty blonde former Hokage to no avail. They were all completely oblivious to the wolf that had just taken the alpha seat right under their noses.

I slammed the official Hokage seal down onto the final border patrol request, the loud thud echoing in the quiet office.

The afternoon sun had finally started to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in deep shades of violet and crimson. My duties for the day were officially over.

I stood up, stretching my tight muscles as a sharp thrill of anticipation raced straight to my gut. The stage was set perfectly.

Leaving the administrative building through a private exit to avoid Shizune's lingering, affectionate gaze, I walked through the cooling streets of the Leaf.

My steps were deliberate and heavy with dark intent. Tonight was not just a casual family dinner. It was going to be the first true testing ground for my newly unlocked Hypnosis Jutsu, and I could already picture Sarada and Inori completely pliant, waiting to be rewritten by my will.
