“Report, Captain, Vice-Captain, Strategist!
The reinforcements this time consist of 70 Jonin, 100 Special Jonin, 700 Chunin, and 1,500 Genin.
Please provide instructions!”
While Ye Yue Ling and Yezhue Ai waited impatiently, the main force from Kumogakure finally arrived and successfully rendezvoused with the vanguard!
Yezhue Ai was instantly excited upon seeing so many troops.
“Dad has brought out almost all of our Jonin!”
Yezhue Ai couldn’t help but exclaim as it looked at the troops before it.
“Big brother, since Father has sent so many Ninja, our hopes of winning this war have increased significantly!”
“Captain, Vice-Captain, I believe we can depart, but we must be careful of an ambush by Konoha!”
Ye Yue Ling and Yezhue Ai both highly agreed with what the strategist said.
“Alright, everyone, listen to my command: enter the Land of Fire!”
Meanwhile.
“Lady Tsunade, the place where the Hidden Cloud Village troops are stationed is just ahead!”
Minato Namikaze said with a grave expression.
The two of them led the main force forward for a while longer.
“What!
The vanguard has already left!”
Minato Namikaze saw that the place where the Hidden Cloud Village vanguard was stationed was empty, and it immediately realized that the vanguard had received reinforcements and had officially stepped into the Land of Fire!
Minato Namikaze keenly noticed that the wood used for the fire nearby still had a faint warmth.
“Lady Tsunade, it seems the main force hasn’t gone far.
Inuzuka Tora, Aburame Shiwei, track the main Kumogakure force!”
“Understood!”
After receiving the order, the two of them—one using its nose, the other using insects—immediately locked onto the general direction of the main Kumogakure force!
“Follow Inuzuka Tora and Aburame Shiwei!”
At Minato Namikaze’s command, the main force quickly rushed towards the main Kumogakure force, following Inuzuka Tora and Aburame Shiwei!
Just as Minato Namikaze had guessed, after pursuing for only half an hour, they had already spotted the main Kumogakure force!
“Report, Captain!
Minato Namikaze is bringing Tsunade, one of the Legendary Sannin, and the main Konoha force towards us!”
The sensory captain in charge, upon sensing a large group of Chakra rapidly approaching from the side, immediately reported it to Yezhue Ai!
“It’s that loser, Minato Namikaze!”
Yezhue Ai snorted disdainfully.
“However, since he brought Tsunade, one of the Legendary Sannin, this time, it might be a bit troublesome!”
“Big brother, they are already very close to us.
Let the main force prepare for defense!”
“Alright, brothers, the Konoha Ninja have caught up!
The one leading them is that same loser.
I, along with the Vice-Captain, will lead you all to crush them once again!”
“Everyone, enter combat state now!
Do not lower your guard!
Stay alert at all times!”
Yezhue Ai shouted loudly.
Not to mention the Hidden Cloud Village vanguard, the main force had also heard rumors in the village that the vanguard had already crushed Konoha, which was why they were needed as reinforcements!
And with Yezhue Ai saying this, their confidence was greatly boosted!
“Just a mere loser!
How dare he come back!”
“We must beat those Konoha Ninja until they are running for their lives!”
“The Hidden Cloud Village is the strongest!”
The voices below erupted instantly.
Although there is a saying that “arrogant soldiers will be defeated,” this “arrogance” most likely refers to the arrogance of the generals, not the soldiers under their command!
After all, soldier arrogance only boosts morale, while general arrogance leads to defeat!
Although Yezhue Ai spoke arrogantly, in its heart, it regarded Minato Namikaze as a true opponent!
After all, Ye Yue Ling had said one thing to it:
“Despise the enemy in words, but take the enemy seriously in action!”
Just as the morale of the Kumogakure troops was being boosted, Ye Yue Ling instantly transformed into the Perfect Eight-Tails and stood in front of the Hidden Cloud Village Ninja!
This “one man guards the pass” aura of Ye Yue Ling once again boosted the morale of the Kumogakure troops!
Now, the Hidden Cloud Village was just waiting for the Konoha Ninja to arrive so they could strike them head-on!
“Cherry Blossom Impact!”
As soon as Tsunade entered the battlefield, she raised her right foot high towards the Perfect Eight-Tails form of Ye Yue Ling and stomped down!
Ye Yue Ling, knowing full well the extent of Tsunade’s monstrous strength, immediately curled itself into a ball with its tails to block Tsunade’s attack!
It then aimed at the Konoha Ninja and condensed a petite, instant Tailed Beast Ball!
Tsunade didn’t react to this Tailed Beast Ball at all because by the time she saw it, the Tailed Beast Ball had already been fired!
But just as the Tailed Beast Ball was about to hit the Konoha force, Minato Namikaze flashed in front of them and released the Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder, teleporting the Tailed Beast Ball to a flat area!
Seeing that this surprise attack had no effect, Ye Yue Ling did not intend to use it again.
It had only managed to use the instant Tailed Beast Ball to bypass Tsunade because she hadn’t reacted in time; if it used it again, Tsunade would definitely be on guard!
Thus, Ye Yue Ling wrapped itself up and prepared to continue using Ink Clone: Simulation!
No, that’s not right.
I understand Tsunade’s skills.
Monstrous strength is just precise Chakra control, and the Strength of a Hundred Seal is just storing Chakra.
As soon as this thought occurred to Ye Yue Ling, it prepared to take action!
It instantly canceled its Tailed Beast Transformation.
Seeing its big brother chasing after Minato Namikaze, it also looked at the Tsunade before it.
“The Legendary Sannin, huh?
Today, let me test just how strong the Legendary Sannin really are!”
“Hell Stab: Four-Finger Pierce!”
Ye Yue Ling didn’t hesitate; it didn’t use any probing skills at all and went straight for its ultimate move!
“What!
This brat can actually use Hell Thrust!”
Tsunade was moved; she hadn’t expected Ye Yue Ling to be able to use this move!
But she didn’t have time to think too much; Ye Yue Ling’s attack had already arrived!
She also used her monstrous strength to clash against its Four-Finger Pierce!
Ye Yue Ling was knocked back several steps by her monstrous strength!
Tsunade, however, didn’t budge an inch!
“Hell Stab: One-Finger Pierce!”
Ye Yue Ling slowly changed its four fingers into one, the intense, sharp aura seemingly about to slice Tsunade apart!
“What!
This brat can even use One-Finger Piercing Hand!”
Tsunade had only been moved a moment ago, but now she was astonished!
“Strength of a Hundred Seal, release!”
Originally, Tsunade wanted to use Summoning Jutsu to summon Katsuyu to block it, since even if Katsuyu were hit, she would just split into smaller individuals and wouldn’t die.
But there was no time; the One-Finger Piercing Hand was about to strike!
“Cherry Blossom Impact!”
Tsunade, having released the Strength of a Hundred Seal, clashed violently with Ye Yue Ling’s One-Finger Piercing Hand.
The massive explosion caused the fighting Ninja to freeze for a moment!
At the center of the battlefield, Tsunade, who had taken the One-Finger Piercing Hand head-on, had a bleeding hand, but the wound quickly scabbed over and healed.
As for Ye Yue Ling, it was blasted away; although it looked pathetic, it actually hadn’t sustained any injuries!
“Gyuki, how is the collection going?”
I know Tsunade has hemophobia, but in this book’s setting, Nawaki is already dead, Kato Dan is not dead yet, and Kato Dan will be written out later.
