I am Hinata Hyuga, a perfectly average reincarnated soul and the eldest daughter of the Hyuga Clan’s main branch.

If everything goes according to the original plot, I am destined to become the wife of the Seventh Hokage.

Setting aside my legitimate future husband, Naruto Uzumaki, there is also that moon-bound simping Otsutsuki fellow whose destructive power rivals the Six Paths itself.Full novel: Naruto: Reborn as Hinata, I Choose Violence — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Should I end up having children with Naruto, I would even give birth to an absurdly powerful, near-invincible son.

Right now, I am six years old.

If I can just endure another fourteen years, I will stand atop the entire ninja world, second only to a single person.

Once we are married, all it would take is a few gentle whispers in Naruto’s ear, and wouldn’t the entire shinobi world belong to me?

At that point, whatever I want, I get.

If I want the moon, I can pluck it from the sky, and everyone will have to obey me.

As long as I follow the script, I can just lay back and hit the absolute peak of life.

Yes, literally laying back, in every sense of the word.

Of course…

All of this hinges on one tiny detail.

I have to actually be female.

Dammit!

I was a man in my past life!

How in the world did I turn into a girl!

Ask me to marry that damn blonde brat, Naruto Uzumaki?

I would rather jump off a cliff!

Damn it all!

Why!

Why did it have to be the Hyuga Clan!

Could it not have been Naruto or Sasuke?

Even Kakashi would have been fine!

Snow flakes tumbled heavily from the gray sky.

Deep within the pine forest near the Hyuga compound, a sweet, doll-faced girl with dark hair and pale, milky eyes stood perfectly still.

Her expression was entirely blank, her dead-fish gaze locked onto three clueless, brainless little punks who had appeared out of nowhere.

“Haha, look at the Byakugan monster!”

“Her eyes are so creepy!”

“What an ugly freak!”

Hinata could not fathom why there were still idiots in this wretched Leaf Village who failed to recognize the Byakugan, but it hardly mattered.

What did matter was that she was currently in the middle of a massive existential crisis, and these suicidal little brats had thoughtfully stepped up to serve as her personal punching bags.

“Haha, what’s the matter?

Cat got your tongue?”

“Is she a mute or something?”

The three troublemakers, each a year or two older than Hinata, sneered at her pale eyes.

Excited by her silence, they reached out, intent on shoving her into the snow.

“White-eyed…”

“Stop right there!

Three against one is just…”

“…Shut the hell up!”

Before the sentence could finish, the world in front of Hinata snapped into sharp black and white.

First palm!

Hinata slammed her palm straight into the chest of the boy reaching for her.

Mysterious power surged from her seemingly soft, delicate hand.

The force blasted the kid off his feet, sending him flying backward to crash headfirst into a snowdrift.

Second palm!

Neither of the remaining two had time to react to her sudden violence.

No one expected a fragile, easily bullied little girl to strike without uttering a single word.

The second fool stood frozen, watching the very hand that blasted his leader away come sweeping toward his own chest.

Naturally, the result was no different.

He soared through the air, trailing right behind his boss.

Third palm…

Actually, I’ll kick you to death!

Spinning on her heel, her slender body unleashed a terrifying burst of momentum.

A crisp high kick landed square against the last kid’s face.

He spun three and a half times mid-air before planting headfirst into the snow like a freshly buried turnip.

“So…”

“That was amazing!”

The voice from earlier spoke up again, filled with utter astonishment.

Seeing that bright, eye-catching golden hair made the corner of Hinata’s mouth twitch while she was still holding her finishing pose.

She remembered now.

Wasn’t this damn scene supposed to be the fateful first meeting between her and her future husband?

“I had no idea you were this strong!”

The annoying blonde brat sprinted over to her, his face a picture of pure wonder.

In her past life, no matter how she looked at him, she had adored this blonde kid.

But now?

No matter how she looked at him, he just rubbed her the wrong way.

Should I beat him up too?

Looking at the boy who was gazing at her with wide, admiring eyes, a wicked thought sprouted in Hinata’s mind.

If I give him a solid thrashing right now, maybe the little brat won’t fall for me later?

Huh?!

Now that is a brilliant idea!

I am a genius!

“I’m warning you though, don’t look down on me!

I’m the guy who’s gonna become Hokage!”

“Just you wait!

Once I’m Hokage, nobody in the Leaf Village will ever get away with picking on people again!”

Even though Hinata hadn’t said a single word, the blonde kid started spouting grand promises out of nowhere.

Forget it.

As long as I don’t mess with him in the future, it’ll be fine.

“When that time comes, you’ll definitely thank me!”

“After all, girls are supposed to be protected by guys!” Naruto continued with a cheerful grin, his nature naturally warm and friendly.

…?

You?

Protecting me?!

Yeah, I’m definitely beating his ass first!

Naruto was about to keep talking when a sudden, violent chill ran down his spine.

It felt as though he was being stalked by a starving predator.

He blinked, looking around frantically, but apart from the three unlucky brats groaning in the snow, there was no one else nearby.

“Why’d it suddenly get so cold?” Naruto scratched his head, completely bewildered.

“Fourth palm!”

“Huh?” What fourth palm?

Before Naruto could even process the words, a heavy force smashed into his chest.

The dark-haired girl in front of him had stepped in, slamming her open palm straight into his stomach.

Taking the full impact of the hit, Naruto’s eyes rolled back into his head.

He flew backward through the air, following the exact same trajectory as the previous three.

“Ow!

That hurt!”

“What did you do that for?!”

As expected of the child of destiny, while the other three were still unconscious, Naruto scrambled back to his feet almost instantly.

What kind of nonsense are you babbling?

“I just don’t like the look of your face.

Is there a problem with me giving you a beating?” Hinata pulled her palm back, standing tall as she looked down at him with a cold smirk.

“You jerk!”

“You violent monster!”

“I was clearly on your side!

To think I actually wanted to help you!” Naruto fumed, his heart bursting with indignation and rage.

Why was there someone in this world who just beat people up for no reason?!

Who’s on your side?

Hinata rolled her Byakugan and turned to leave.

Now that she had delivered a good beating, they could go their separate ways.

No matter how powerful her future son was supposed to be, he wouldn’t even get the chance to be born now.

“Hey!

You violent monster!”

“Get back here!”

Naruto yelled at her back while rapidly weaving a hand seal.

“Take this!”

Chakra surged wildly around him, catching Hinata off guard and causing her to glance back over her shoulder.

There was no way he could have learned the Shadow Clone Technique at this stage, so it had to be…

Poof!

A cloud of white smoke erupted out of thin air, revealing a duplicate standing right beside Naruto.

Hinata raised an eyebrow at the miniature, palm-sized clone standing barely ten centimeters tall next to him.

Just as she thought.

A basic Clone Technique.

As if sensing her utter contempt, the tiny, chibified clone let out a high-pitched squeak and charged toward her.

Hinata simply raised her foot.

Stomp!

Less than three seconds after its grand appearance, the mini-clone was squashed flat beneath her boot.

The white smoke dispersed from under her sole.

She offered the stunned Naruto a nonchalant glance before turning away for good.

“With skills like that, you had better train for another hundred years.”
