"Become the God of Shinobi, huh?"
Sasuke pondered over the system's intentions.
Reaching a power level comparable to the God of Shinobi wasn't the difficult part. The real challenge lay in earning the system's recognition as such.
Based on the system's behavior so far, simply increasing his strength wouldn't change its evaluation. Every aspect of his abilities had to reach a certain standard for his evaluation to improve.
The system's definition of the "God of Shinobi" likely encompassed mastery in ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, and even medical ninjutsu.
It might also require Sasuke to learn sealing techniques and even rare, specialized jutsu, like puppet techniques or the Hozuki clan's secret arts.
This made the path to becoming the God of Shinobi far more complex than just raw strength.
Sasuke already felt pressed for time. If he had to add all these skills to his training, there simply wouldn't be enough time.
"If only I had the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu," he thought. "That cheating, overpowered jutsu!"
However, only Naruto could handle such a technique. His Uzumaki lineage granted him an incredible constitution, and on top of that, he had Kurama, the Nine-Tails, acting as a living chakra battery.
With those advantages, it made sense Naruto could withstand the side effects of the jutsu.
But Sasuke wasn't Naruto. He didn't have an indestructible body or a tailed beast's backup. If he carelessly used the jutsu, he might end up killing himself, and it wouldn't be worth it.
Even so, while Sasuke lacked Naruto's unique boosts, his own talent was unmatched. In the entire shinobi world, there was likely no one else with potential as terrifying as his.
Becoming the God of Shinobi wasn't impossible it would just take relentless effort.
"Anyway, I need to focus on training," Sasuke resolved.
There were so many things he wanted to work on.
"Luckily, Kakashi mentioned there wouldn't be any missions for a while. I can plan my training freely for the time being."
The lack of missions was probably due to the upcoming Chunin Exams. The free time was essentially their last chance to refine their skills.
"Would the host like to accept the A-rank jutsu reward?"
Just as Sasuke was about to finalize his training schedule, the system's voice interrupted.
He paused for a moment.
"Oh, right! I still have an A-rank jutsu reward!"

Lightning Release Jutsu
Fire Release Jutsu
Special Jutsu
Without hesitation, Sasuke selected
Lightning Release
.
Special jutsu like sealing techniques, medical ninjutsu, or the Shadow Clone Jutsu weren't particularly useful to him.
In this case, Sasuke naturally chose what he favored most and what would benefit him the most Lightning Release.
[Congratulations! Sasuke has obtained the A-rank Lightning Release Jutsu: Chidori Stream!]
Chidori Stream?
He hadn't expected to receive this jutsu.
Sasuke had originally planned to develop extensions of the Chidori himself, but time was always against him.
He barely had enough time to train, let alone create new jutsu.
"This jutsu... not bad!"
Right now, what Sasuke lacked the most was undoubtedly defense.
Chidori Stream
was an extension of Chidori, offering both offensive and defensive capabilities a well-rounded technique.
By enveloping his entire body in Chidori's lightning, he could simultaneously attack and defend.
A versatile move indeed.
In the original story, Sasuke stopped using Chidori Stream once he unlocked
Susano'o
, as its defense far surpassed Chidori Stream's.
But for Sasuke at this stage, the jutsu was incredibly practical.
[Lightning Release: Chidori Stream (Beginner Level)]
The method to circulate Chidori's lightning through his entire body appeared in his mind.
As he recalled the details, it felt like a revelation.
So this is another way to use Chidori!
Interestingly, Sasuke now felt he could also figure out how to develop
Chidori Sharp Spear
and
Chidori Senbon
.
However, there was no rush.
His current priorities were the
Cursed Seal training
,
swordsmanship
, and the practice of new Lightning Release techniques:
Discharge
,
Chidori
, and now
Chidori Stream
.
The list of things he needed to train was growing overwhelming.
Training the Cursed Seal was essential, but he couldn't neglect chakra refinement. Increasing his chakra reserves would also enhance the amount of natural energy the Cursed Seal could absorb.
After all,
Sage Chakra
was a fusion of physical energy, natural energy, and spiritual energy a far more powerful form of chakra.
The amount of Sage Chakra one can refine depends on their chakra reserves, so chakra training must not stop.
"At night, I'll train my
chakra
and the
Cursed Seal
."
"In the morning, I'll practice
swordsmanship
."
Swordsmanship combined with
Swift Lightning
will be Sasuke's most powerful combat state, so training with his blade is just as crucial.
Finally, the
Lightning Release training
: both
Chidori
and
Discharge
need to reach higher mastery levels as soon as possible.
Chidori, with its one-hit-kill potential, requires no explanation for its importance.
As for the newly developed
Discharge
jutsu, its versatility is immense.
It's practically like a
non-elementalized version of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit
. However, its current power is too weak due to two factors:
Chakra limitations.
Sasuke's lack of mastery.
Both issues require further refinement.
"I'll focus my afternoons on
Chidori
and
Discharge
training."
With this plan, Sasuke's days are fully packed.
"In just a few days, I'll face
Neji Hyuga
. Once I win, I'll gain the
Sharingan training method
, and that will add more to my schedule."
Sasuke sighed in frustration. The stronger he became, the more it seemed he lacked.
Everything demanded training it felt overwhelming!
"Looks like I'll just
move into my secret base outside Konoha
for now."
With that, Sasuke left his house, packing only the essentials. He exited the village, determined to spend the next few days training relentlessly.
