The shurikenjutsu lesson concluded successfully after producing two geniuses, Rin and Kakashi, and two dead lasts, Obito Uchiha and Might Guy.

The remaining students performed adequately and at least spared Kiyono Shuji another heart attack.

Afterward, Class 1-A of the Ninja Academy completed basic outdoor survival training and an introductory stress-resistance exercise, bringing the day’s lessons to an end.Full novel: Naruto: Rin’s Bad Ending Loop — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As the sun began to set, Rin returned to the classroom, packed her bag, carefully placed her notebook inside, and went to the training ground to wait for Obito so they could leave together.

However, even after waiting for a long time, she saw only crows flying across the sky.

Obito was nowhere to be found.

Rin couldn’t help but pout.

She had already forgiven Obito, and he had promised that they would travel to and from school together.

Yet he had broken his promise again.

But she soon wondered whether Obito had gone alone to the small wooded area near the Ninja Academy to practice in secret.

At that thought, she quickly headed toward the woods and soon spotted a familiar figure busily training in the distance.

Obito wore his goggles and held a shuriken in his hand.

After spending a long time aiming at a target he had drawn on a large tree, he took a deep breath and threw it with all his strength.

The shuriken embedded itself crookedly in another tree far from the target.

Obito slumped in frustration and sighed with his head lowered.

“How am I supposed to improve if this keeps happening?”

At that moment, Rin smiled slightly and walked over.

“Obito, you ran off to practice alone without telling me. You made me wait for a long time.”

Obito’s face quickly flushed red.

He immediately remembered their agreement to leave school together and scratched his head.

“Sorry, Rin. I was so eager to practice that I forgot.”

Rin shook her head and asked understandingly, “Obito, are you working so hard because you’re afraid the instructor will expel you?”

Obito nodded.

“Yes. If I get expelled, I won’t be able to see you as often anymore.”

A trace of emotion flickered in Rin’s eyes, and she stepped forward to retrieve the wayward shuriken.

“Obito, that’s not how you throw a shuriken. Let me teach you.”

Obito looked a little embarrassed.

“But Rin, that will take up your time.”

Rin smiled.

“If it’s for you, Obito, then I don’t mind. Let’s start right away.” The source of this chapter is g.com.

After saying that, Rin placed the shuriken in Obito’s palm and tightly held his hand around it.

Obito’s small face flushed slightly.

Before he could say anything, Rin instructed, “Obito, close your eyes and feel the strength and rhythm of the throw with me.”

Obito had no choice but to close his eyes.

He then felt Rin guide his hand through the throwing motion.

The shuriken flew forward with an extremely steady trajectory.

“Thunk!”

Obito opened his eyes and saw the shuriken firmly embedded in the center of the target he had drawn earlier.

He couldn’t help but exclaim, “Rin, you really are… amazing!”

Rin, however, shook her head.

“Obito, I’m not the amazing one. The shinobi of your Uchiha clan are.”

“Would you believe that there’s a young Uchiha who can do this even better than me? He might not be much older than you.”

Obito didn’t believe her at all.

“Rin, are you trying to encourage me? Don’t worry! I’ll become that young Uchiha—no, I’ll become even better than him!”

Rin smiled.

“Then, Obito, do you remember the feeling from that throw?”

Obito froze.

He had been so distracted by how close Rin was that he had completely forgotten everything else.

His face turned bright red, and he was about to apologize when Rin quickly walked over and retrieved the shuriken again.

“It’s all right if you don’t remember. Let’s try again.”

After saying that, Rin tightly held Obito’s hand once more.

This time, Obito’s eyes were filled with determination.

He had already disappointed Rin once, and he wouldn’t disappoint her a second time.

Beneath the setting sun, the two children practiced diligently in the small forest.

Time passed quickly, though neither of them seemed to notice while they were together…

That night, Rin returned home and went to her bedroom after dinner.

She turned on the light and raised her right hand, revealing that her palm was already covered in bruises.

These injuries hadn’t been caused by practicing with Obito.

She had received them earlier while performing the shuriken collision and curving technique.

That throwing technique required immense strength, precision, and chakra control.

Although Rin had obtained the necessary experience, her physical abilities hadn’t yet caught up.

As a result, performing the technique had still injured her hand.

Rin murmured, “Any technique relies not only on experience but also on physical conditioning. Different skills are connected to each other.”

Rin felt that, after obtaining so much experience in shurikenjutsu, her other fundamental abilities had also improved to a certain extent.

Shurikenjutsu tested the coordination of a person’s entire body and couldn’t be treated as an isolated skill.

The notebook was truly extraordinary.

It could separate experience from physical ability and directly grant her the former.

Perhaps she could slow down her attempts to clear the scenario for now.

She could first encounter the young Uchiha with the Mangekyō Sharingan a few more times and see whether she could obtain additional rewards from him…

Early the next morning, the first thing Rin did after waking up and washing was open her notebook.

Another passage of text appeared on its pages.

[A new day, a new beginning. Compared to yesterday, I have made significant progress. However, relatively speaking, that progress is still negligible.]

Rin felt her temper rising again.

She didn’t know whether the notebook was deliberately being mischievous, but its words always seemed designed to infuriate her.

She took a deep breath and calmed herself.

Then she picked up the shuriken she had prepared earlier and placed on her desk.

She had obtained it from her father, Haruki Nohara.

This time, when she entered the notebook’s text adventure, she wanted to conduct a small experiment and determine whether her in-game self was synchronized with her real body.

If they were synchronized, anything she held in reality would also be carried by the “Rin” inside the notebook.

If so, she could prepare suitable equipment for future attempts.

At that moment, more words appeared in the notebook.

[I have one chance to reset each day. Do I want to use it?]

[Yes / No]

Rin said without hesitation, “I want to use it immediately.”

The text in the notebook flickered again.

[I returned to the starting point. This time, I have an additional shuriken in my hand.]

[I now have three choices.]

[1. Go to the Uchiha residential district.]

[2. Go to the Military Police Force headquarters.]

[3. Force my way out of the Uchiha clan compound.]

It really helps the fic grow!
