Minato was also slightly excited.

Like his teacher Jiraiya, he had now accepted a student of his own—and an exceptionally talented one at that.

He immediately changed the way he addressed her.Full novel: Naruto: Rin’s Bad Ending Loop — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Then, Rin, from now on, I’ll be your teacher. If you have any questions, you can ask me at any time.”

After saying that, he handed Rin the kunai he had used during his training.

“I don’t have a proper gift prepared for my first student, so I’ll give you this Flying Thunder God kunai.”

“You can inject chakra into the formula I’ve placed on the kunai to amplify its space-time fluctuations. That will allow me to sense it whenever I’m nearby.”

Rin accepted the kunai and examined the characters engraved upon it before reading them aloud.

“Sword of Shinobi Love.”

Minato smiled proudly.

“This kunai symbolizes love. What do you think? I chose a good name, didn’t I?”

Rin looked up and quietly studied Minato-sensei.

Was that really a good name?

Why did Rin find it somewhat embarrassing and childish, despite being so young herself?

It reminded her of that idiot Obito.

However, her newly appointed teacher had given her a present, and her good manners prevented her from saying anything rude.

Therefore, she respectfully replied:

“Mm, it’s a very good name, Minato-sensei. Thank you.”

Minato was delighted.

Having just accepted his first student, he wanted to teach Rin every useful thing he knew.

His expression became slightly more serious.

“Rin, I’ll request Lord Hokage’s permission to teach you the Flying Thunder God Technique. However, even if he approves, you won’t be able to begin learning it immediately.”

“Using the Flying Thunder God Technique in actual combat places extremely high demands on all of your fundamental abilities.”

“The Ninja Academy will teach you those fundamentals. You must master the Three Basic Techniques, the Summoning Technique, and fūinjutsu. Study them seriously, or you won’t even be able to understand the basic principles of the Flying Thunder God Technique.”

Rin nodded.

“Of course. I’ll master every ninjutsu my instructors teach me.”

Minato, however, shook his head.

“You only recently entered the Ninja Academy, so you’re still curious about every kind of ninjutsu. Naturally, you feel that way now.”

“However, as they grow older, many Academy students begin neglecting the fundamental ninjutsu taught by their instructors and instead pursue more powerful techniques.”

“I want you to understand that this way of thinking is mistaken.”

“The more fundamental something is, the closer it is to the principles underlying everything else. You must always remember that.”

Rin’s expression became serious. New chapters come out on g.com first.

Since Minato-sensei had emphasized this so strongly, she would make sure to remember it.

She also needed to help Obito understand this valuable lesson.

Obito was probably exactly the type of person Minato-sensei had described.

He completely ignored fundamental theory and thought only about awakening the Uchiha clan’s Sharingan.

Although…

the Sharingan truly was exceptionally powerful.

Rin asked, “Minato-sensei, may I share what you just taught me with my friends?”

Minato smiled slightly.

“Of course. This isn’t classified information. Comrades should know how to share knowledge with one another. Rin, you’re a very good girl.”

Rin, however, looked slightly dissatisfied.

“Minato-sensei, I’m not that little anymore.”

Minato found it amusing that even a well-behaved girl like Rin had a stubborn side.

He quickly reassured her, “Yes, of course. After all, Rin is already a powerful kunoichi.”

Rin’s eyes curved slightly.

Minato-sensei really was a good person.

At that moment, Minato suddenly remembered something and became anxious.

“Oh no! I completely forgot the time!”

“I’m finished. Kushina is going to kill me.”

Rin was taken aback.

What did Minato-sensei mean by that?

Seeing her confusion, Minato scratched his head and explained sheepishly, “I arranged to meet my girlfriend tonight, but I became so focused on training—and then on speaking with you—that I completely forgot.”

“Haha… She has probably been waiting at our meeting place for quite some time.”

Rin stared at him in speechless disbelief.

Why was Minato-sensei so similar to Obito when it came to being late?

However, she also became curious and couldn’t help asking, “Minato-sensei, what kind of person is your girlfriend?”

Minato’s eyebrow twitched slightly.

“Kushina? She’s a wonderful girl, but she can sometimes be a little… violent.”

At that point, Minato lowered his voice and leaned closer to Rin.

“Of course, I’m telling you this in secret. You absolutely must not repeat it in front of her, or she’ll fly into a rage.”

Rin couldn’t help shivering.

Konoha’s Red Hot-Blooded Habanero?

That nickname clearly suggested that Kushina wasn’t someone to provoke.

It seemed Minato-sensei’s girlfriend really was as frightening as he claimed.

Rin said, “Then shouldn’t you hurry and go meet her, Minato-sensei?”

Minato hesitated briefly before asking, “Rin, how about coming with me and helping me calm her down?”

“It will also give you an opportunity to meet Kushina. Although she can be violent, she probably won’t lay a hand on you.”

Probably?

So Minato-sensei wasn’t even certain?

Rin felt slightly frightened, but she couldn’t simply stand by and allow her new teacher to suffer alone.

Therefore, she bravely said, “All right, Minato-sensei. I’ll go with you to meet your girlfriend.”

Minato breathed a sigh of relief.

“Rin, you’re a tremendous help.”

Without wasting any more time, he led Rin out of the training ground and headed toward the place where he had agreed to meet Kushina.

The two hurried along and soon entered the area surrounding the Senju clan compound.

Rin noticed far more shinobi patrolling the area than usual.

The security seemed exceptionally strict, so she asked nervously, “Minato-sensei, are we really allowed to come here? Why are there so many shinobi?”

Minato ignored the patrolling shinobi and explained, “Rin, Kushina’s identity is somewhat special. Shinobi accompany her wherever she goes. You’ll have to get used to their presence and simply ignore them.”

Her identity was special?

Shinobi followed her wherever she went?

Rin became even more curious about Minato-sensei’s girlfriend.

Before long, there were no ordinary pedestrians left on the street.

Every person nearby was an alert shinobi, and Rin even spotted several ANBU operatives.

Those shinobi appeared to know about Minato and Kushina’s relationship, so they allowed the two to pass without interference.

Soon, a young woman around Minato-sensei’s age appeared at the end of the road.

She also wore a Konoha forehead protector, and her vibrant red hair was especially striking.

At that moment, however, she appeared to be in a terrible mood, and undisguised anxiety covered her beautiful face.

Her long red hair seemed to rise with her anger, swaying ominously in the wind.

Why did she suddenly look so terrifying?

Rin felt somewhat apprehensive and guilty as she asked, “Minato-sensei, your girlfriend is very beautiful, but… is it really safe to approach her right now?”
