Whispers spread throughout the classroom.

Listening to the discussion around her, Tanya finally pieced everything together.

So that was it.

The arrogant boy standing before her was Asuma Sarutobi, the Third Hokage’s son.

As for the others surrounding him, they were merely children taking advantage of Asuma’s status to throw their weight around.

No wonder they behaved so confidently.

In Tanya’s eyes, such behavior was nothing new.

Every organization had people like this.

People who borrowed authority they had never earned themselves.

What surprised her was how unimpressive they actually were.

The previous evening, Hiruzen Sarutobi had specifically mentioned Asuma.

His expression had been unusually troubled.

The Hokage had even openly told Tanya that if Asuma caused trouble in class, she didn’t need to worry about protecting his reputation.

Unfortunately, Tanya still intended to show some restraint.

After all, she was mentally an adult with three lifetimes of experience.

Arguing with a group of five-year-olds would be absurd.

Unfortunately—

That didn’t mean she intended to tolerate them.

Asuma mistook her silence for fear.

The grin on his face widened.

“What’s wrong?”

His voice became increasingly smug.

“Scared already?”

Before he could continue—

Tanya moved.

A small telescopic baton slipped quietly from her sleeve.

Her movements were swift.

Efficient.

Almost impossible for ordinary children to follow.

The classroom blurred.

A sharp crack echoed through the room.

“Ah!”

One of Asuma’s followers cried out.

The baton struck precisely against a pressure point beneath the ribs.

Not enough to cause lasting injury.

Just enough to make breathing temporarily impossible.

The boy collapsed instantly.

His face turned pale.

His knees hit the floor.

The entire classroom froze.

Tanya didn’t stop.

One step.

One strike.

Another step.

Another strike.

Every movement was clean and controlled.

No wasted motion.

No unnecessary force.

Within seconds, the group surrounding Asuma had been reduced to a pile of groaning children clutching various bruised limbs and aching stomachs.

The classroom became deathly silent.

Nobody had expected this.

Least of all Asuma.

For the first time in his life, the Hokage’s son experienced genuine fear.

The children around him had always backed down.

Adults always showed restraint.

Nobody had ever responded like this before.

Asuma subconsciously took a step backward.

Then another.

His back suddenly collided with something solid.

He froze.

Slowly turning around—

He found himself face-to-face with Might Guy.

Guy’s smile was dazzling.

Almost painfully so.

“Tanya!”

He gave a powerful thumbs-up.

His eyes sparkled with admiration.

“This is youth!”

The surrounding students stared at him.

Several looked even more confused than before.

Guy, however, remained completely sincere.

In his eyes, Tanya’s decisive actions were proof of strength.

Strength deserved respect.

Asuma tried to move.

Unfortunately, Guy had already grabbed the back of his collar.

The future taijutsu master possessed remarkable physical strength even at this age.

No matter how much Asuma struggled, he couldn’t break free.

“T-Tanya…”

A cold sweat appeared on Asuma’s forehead.

Meanwhile, Tanya slowly approached.

Her expression remained calm.

Perhaps too calm.

Which somehow made it even more frightening.

Each footstep echoed throughout the silent classroom.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Asuma’s face gradually lost all color.

“You…”

His voice trembled.

“You stay back!”

His panic finally surfaced.

“My father is the Hokage!”

The threat sounded weak.

Even he seemed aware of it.

Tanya ignored him entirely.

She continued walking forward.

Step by step.

The pressure mounted.

Asuma’s breathing became increasingly ragged.

His imagination quickly supplied countless horrifying possibilities.

Then—

His eyes rolled backward.

His body went limp.

He fainted.

The classroom became even quieter.

Guy blinked.

Then looked down at the unconscious Asuma.

“Huh?”

Tanya stopped walking.

Her expression returned to normal.

She slowly swept her gaze across the room.

Every student immediately lowered their heads.

Nobody dared meet her eyes.

The atmosphere felt less like an Academy classroom and more like a military inspection.

“This is the Ninja Academy.”

Tanya’s voice was calm.

Yet nobody dared interrupt.

“We are here to become shinobi.”

Her eyes moved across the room.

“Not to form cliques.”

“Not to bully others.”

“And certainly not to waste everyone’s time.”

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Satisfied, Tanya nodded slightly.

“Return to your seats.”

Nobody argued.

Nobody complained.

The entire class moved immediately.

Looking at the students’ reactions, Tanya felt somewhat disappointed.

Their discipline was poor.

Their resolve was poor.

Most lacked even the courage to object. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

Perhaps she really needed to discuss Academy reform with the Hokage later.

After all, these children would eventually become Konoha’s future shinobi.

Turning away from the class, Tanya looked toward Guy.

“Guy.”

“Yes!”

His response was immediate.

“Sit next to Asuma from now on.”

Guy blinked.

Then nodded enthusiastically.

“No problem!”

Tanya continued.

“Keep an eye on him.”

“Make sure he doesn’t cause trouble.”

Guy puffed out his chest proudly.

“You can leave it to me!”

Before Asuma fainted, such an arrangement would have sounded like punishment.

Now it sounded far worse.

Guy immediately dragged Asuma back to his seat and sat down beside him.

Then he pulled out the notes Tanya had previously prepared for him and began reviewing them with complete seriousness.

Seeing this, Tanya nodded approvingly.

At least Guy possessed an admirable work ethic.

Next, she turned toward the students still lying on the floor.

The children instantly tensed.

Several nearly cried.

Tanya crouched beside them.

Her voice became cold.

“Listen carefully.”

The boys nodded frantically.

“If I hear screaming.”

She paused.

“Or further trouble.”

Her gaze swept over them.

“We’ll continue this discussion later.”

The boys immediately covered their mouths.

Not one dared make a sound.

Only after confirming their compliance did Tanya raise her hand.

Soft green chakra appeared above her palm.

Several students gasped.

Medical ninjutsu.

Even among adults, that wasn’t common.

The glowing chakra gently passed over the bruises.

Pain gradually faded.

Breathing stabilized.

Within moments, the worst injuries had disappeared.

The boys looked at Tanya with even greater fear.

The combination was terrifying.

She could hurt people.

Then calmly heal them afterward.

From their perspective, that was far more frightening than ordinary punishment.

Nearby, Kakashi silently observed everything.

His brows furrowed slightly.

The methods were harsh.

Yet undeniably effective.

More importantly—

Tanya hadn’t lost control.

Every strike had been measured.

Every movement intentional.

The more he watched, the more interested he became.

Perhaps his father had been right after all.

Only someone like this could truly be called worthy of attention.

Just then—

A frantic voice echoed from outside the classroom.

“Oh no!”

“Oh no!”

“We’re going to be late!”

The hurried footsteps grew louder.

Then—

BANG!

The classroom door was flung open.
