Qiyu had been reborn into the world of Naruto—and somehow, he had become a member of the Uchiha clan.

More surprisingly, he was now the eldest son of Uchiha Fugaku, the clan head.

Not long after little Sasuke was born, a mysterious masked man took him away, claiming he would bring the child along on his travels to train.Full novel: Naruto: The Uchiha’s New God — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He promised that Sasuke would be returned once his training was complete and assured the family that there was no need to worry.

Under the surveillance of Konoha’s Anbu, the mysterious masked man never harmed Sasuke.

Only then did Mikoto and the rest of the family finally set their minds at ease.

…..

Time flew by, and two years passed in the blink of an eye.

Summer had arrived, bringing with it another opening day at Konoha’s Ninja Academy.

Qiyu walked with Mikoto toward the front gate, where Fugaku and Itachi were already waiting quietly outside.

“Let’s go.”

Fugaku held out a hand.

Qiyu nodded and grasped his father’s large hand.

Under Mikoto’s warm, affectionate gaze, the three of them set off toward the Ninja Academy.

As they walked through the streets, Qiyu felt countless unfriendly gazes fall upon them.

By now, he had long since grown accustomed to it.

Unlike Itachi, who immersed himself in training every day, Qiyu wandered around the village whenever he had the chance.

After all, the path by which he grew stronger was not something that could be achieved through hard training alone.

Besides, the Uchiha clan’s reputation in the village was probably only marginally better than Naruto’s as a jinchūriki.

As a transmigrator with the mind of an adult, Qiyu could not care less about the petty hostility of strangers.

Itachi, however, was far more sensitive.

The boy lowered his head slightly, visibly disheartened.

Seeing this, Qiyu gave him a gentle smile.

“Itachi, don’t pay too much attention to how other people look at us.”

Itachi’s small body trembled.

“Brother, why do the people in the village hate us so much?”

“Who knows?

And what does it matter whether they hate us or not?

We only need to live as we see fit.”

Qiyu shrugged.

“I understand, Brother.”

Itachi answered in a subdued voice.

Qiyu had no brilliant solution for him.

After all, he did not possess Naruto’s absurd talent for talking people into submission.

Beside them, Fugaku tightened his grip on both boys’ hands.

Clearly, he was deeply dissatisfied with the Uchiha clan’s present position in the village.

“Qiyu, Itachi.

In the future, the responsibility of becoming the bridge between the Uchiha clan and the village will fall upon you.”

“Yes, Father!

I’ll work hard!”

Itachi nodded firmly.

Qiyu chuckled.

“Father, prejudice is like a mountain rooted in the human heart.

Moving such a mountain…”

His expression remained calm as he continued.

“Do you truly think it’s something my little brother and I can accomplish on our own?”

“Besides, we’re still children.

Don’t you think placing such a heavy burden on us is a little unreasonable?”

Fugaku frowned.

“Qiyu!

As the young heir of the Uchiha clan, this is a responsibility you must learn to shoulder from childhood.”

Faced with Fugaku’s near-rebuke, Qiyu did not argue.

The relationship between the Uchiha and the village was becoming more strained by the day, like a barrel of gunpowder slowly being packed tighter and tighter.

He silently recalled the fragments of the Naruto manga he had read in his previous life.

He completely rejected Itachi’s future decision to massacre the entire clan.

The villagers’ attitude toward the Uchiha clearly did not stem from the clan alone.

Konoha’s elder council.

Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Danzō.

And that ridiculous so-called Will of Fire.

Then there was Obito, the rat hiding in the shadows, along with countless injustices and conspiracies.

Those schemes, together with the constant secret provocations, were the true reasons the Uchiha clan had been driven toward destruction.

At that thought, Qiyu slowly exhaled and gave a faint, cold smile.

If all of you want to destroy my family, then come and try.

We’ll see who survives in the end.

Everything will depend on whose methods are superior….

Qiyu turned and gave Itachi a meaningful look.

“My foolish little brother… Just how am I supposed to save you?”

As if sensing something, Itachi looked up at him.

For some reason, his brother’s gaze seemed exceptionally strange at that moment.

“Brother, is something wrong?”

Itachi asked uneasily.

“Itachi, from now on, you must listen to your brother.

Understand?”

Qiyu’s words carried a deeper implication.

Itachi blinked, confusion flashing through his eyes.

“Brother, you’re only half an hour older than me!”

He sounded slightly aggrieved.

Qiyu chuckled.

“An older brother is still an older brother.

What’s this, Itachi?

Are you planning to rebel against your esteemed elder brother already?”

Qiyu suddenly put on a wounded expression.

“N-No, Brother!”

Itachi answered in a panic.

Although Qiyu was only half an hour older than him, Itachi still cared deeply about his brother’s feelings.

“Then tell me.

Are you going to listen to your brother or not?”

At that moment, Qiyu brought his talent for emotional manipulation to its fullest extent.

Every look and gesture conveyed the sorrow of an older brother watching his beloved younger sibling slip beyond his control.

Itachi hesitated.

He glanced at their silent father, then let out a helpless sigh.

“Brother… I’ll listen to you.”

He answered softly.

Having achieved his goal, Qiyu immediately revealed a gratified smile.

He released Fugaku’s hand and gently patted the downcast Itachi on the head.

“It seems my adorable little brother is as obedient as ever.”

Itachi felt an indescribable awkwardness in his heart.

But this was his brother.

What else could he do?

He could only narrow his eyes and quietly endure the affection being showered upon him.

The three of them soon arrived at the Ninja Academy.

At this point in time, the Uchiha clan had not yet been relocated away from the center of Konoha.

By the time they reached the school, many parents had already arrived with their children to register.

The moment they saw Fugaku and the two boys, the crowd reacted in different ways.

Some looked upon them with fear and respect.

Others with open disgust.

Most, however, responded with indifference.

After all, unlike ordinary civilians, most of the families registering their children at the Ninja Academy were shinobi.

Civilians could indulge their hatred of the Uchiha without restraint.

Shinobi, on the other hand, still held a measure of respect and fear toward Konoha’s most powerful clan.

Ignoring the surrounding gazes, Qiyu followed Fugaku through the crowd and headed directly toward the registration desk.

Under the nervous gaze of the shinobi instructor stationed there, Qiyu and Itachi quickly filled out their personal information.

The instructor then solemnly handed them the notices containing their class assignments.

A moment later, Itachi turned toward Qiyu with an unhappy expression.

Qiyu glanced helplessly at the class information and immediately understood why.

The two of them had not been assigned to the same class.

Fugaku did not comment on the matter.

He merely instructed them to study diligently and warned them never to disgrace the Uchiha name at school.

Then, in a hurry, he departed for the Konoha Military Police Force.

There were still many clan affairs awaiting his attention.

After bidding Fugaku farewell, Qiyu quietly comforted Itachi.

He promised that he would wait for him after school so they could walk home together.

Only then did Itachi’s expression improve.

Holding his assignment slip, Qiyu parted ways with his brother and headed toward his classroom.

After navigating several turns, he finally found it.

It was already rather late, and most of the students had arrived.

When Qiyu pushed open the classroom door, he saw that nearly every seat was occupied.

The moment he entered, every pair of eyes in the room turned toward him.

“Wow!

Another handsome boy!”

A girl whispered excitedly.

“He’s from the Uchiha clan!

That cold expression is so cool.

I love it!”

Hearing the girls’ hushed voices, a gentle smile appeared on Qiyu’s previously calm face.

Children really were innocent.

They did not possess nearly as many ulterior motives as adults.

“Ah!

He looks even better when he smiles!

He’s so gentle!”

A young girl immediately squealed.

The Uchiha genes really are incredible.

Qiyu mused inwardly as he followed the sound and spotted two ordinary-looking girls from civilian shinobi families.

Both were staring at him with stars in their eyes.

Qiyu held no prejudice against them simply because they did not come from major clans, nor did he dismiss them because they were not especially beautiful.

Instead, he gently nodded in greeting.

The two girls immediately flushed with embarrassment.

Qiyu swept his gaze across the classroom and discovered that very few of his classmates came from shinobi clans.

Even among the handful whose appearances clearly marked them as members of notable families, he did not recognize any of them.

Just as Qiyu was about to look away, his gaze suddenly froze.

He had assumed there would be no familiar faces in this class.

He had never expected to encounter someone he knew.

Beside the window sat a slender girl from the main clan, staring at him with unmistakable excitement.

She had long black hair, a purple high-collared shirt, and a distinctive beauty mark beneath one of her large eyes.

“Izumi!”
