Chapter 1: Reunion Before the End

Obtained Forbidden God-Rank Death Class, Now I Conquered Other Worlds

Somewhere far beyond the Origin Universe...

A lone being ran through the shattered void.

His entire body is covered in mysterious white seals, while the place where his heart should have been is nothing but an empty hole leaking dark energy.

"DEATH!!!"

A furious roar echoed across the void.

He looked back.

Five beings chased after him, their mere presence distorting space and shattering dimensions around them.

"You should never have brought that cursed item here," one of them said.

His face was hidden beneath swirling brown mist, revealing only a pair of deep brown eyes filled with cold fury.

The fleeing being merely stared back with intense hatred but said nothing.

"Spuchi—!"

Suddenly, a white dagger pierced through his chest from behind.

"Ugh..."

He looked down at the blade protruding from his body.

The dagger carried the same mysterious symbols as the seals covering his body.

Slowly, trembling, he turned around.

betrayal filling his hollow eyes. "You too...?"

The woman remained silent, her purple eyes emotionless as she stared at him.

The surrounding dimension instantly cracked apart.

A terrifying being descended from the fractured void, his body covered in incomprehensible symbols that seemed to twist reality itself.

An overwhelming wave of white energy surged toward him, powerful enough to erase entire worlds.

"OHHHM—!"

A mysterious chant suddenly echoed throughout the universe.

Then—

A black faceless mask covered in countless cracks emerged from the darkness of space.

The mask blocked the attack head-on.

The next moment, space collapsed as it wrapped itself around the dying being and fled into another dimension.

Silence fell.

Then the mysterious being spoke with cold rage.

"Find him."

"The Void Ruler must never return."

"1 burger and 1 cold drink. Here is your order, sir," I said with a professional smile as I handed the tray to the middle-aged customer.

After he left, I leaned against the counter for a moment of rest, but sadly, fate has other plans.

"Luke, can you serve this food to table no. 10?"

A voice came from behind me, not even giving me a single rest.

I sighed and then turn my gaze toward table no. 10.

There is sitting a beautiful girl quietly, her long black hair falling over her shoulders. Her purple eyes looked calm, yet carried a strange coldness within them.

I unconsciously stared at her for a few seconds before quickly looking away.

With a helpless sigh, I picked up the tray and walked toward her table.

"Ma’am, here is your order—one plate of french fries and one cold drink."

I carefully placed the tray down.

She slowly looked up at me with those icy purple eyes.

Her expression remained as cold and unreadable as ever.

Well...

This Isn’t her first time coming here.

"I told you not to call me ’ma’am,’" she said softly.

"Call me by my name."

A chill instantly ran down my spine.

The way she looked at me made it feel less like a request...

...and more like she wanted to swallow me whole.

I instinctively gulped.

"Sure, ma’a—"

I immediately stopped.

Her eyes narrowed dangerously.

"...Okay, Silvia."

The moment her name left my mouth, her cold expression melted into a breathtaking smile.

As if I have just given her something incredibly precious.

Yeah...

She is my ex.

It has already been ten years since we separated.

After moving abroad, she slowly disappeared from my life, and eventually we stopped talking completely Or I did.

For the past week, Silvia have visited this store every single day without fail.

She always sat at the same table.

Quietly watching me for hours with those unsettling purple eyes.

After somehow surviving that painfully awkward interaction, I quickly returned to my position and continued working.

Fortunately, Silvia didn’t call me again after that.

An hour later, my shift finally ended.

"Finally..."

I nearly felt emotional from relief, then I removed my uniform and prepared to leave the store.

But as I walked toward the parking area to get my bicycle, Silvia suddenly stepped in front of me.

And the words she spoke literally froze me.

"Want to come to my house?" she asked with the blank expression.

"What?"

My brain completely short-circuited for a moment.

We havn’t seen each other in ten years, and this is the first thing she asked after meeting me again?

After a short moment, I shook my head to say no.

"I’m bu—"

BOOOOOOM!!!!

But before I could finish speaking, the ground shook violently beneath my feet.

A deafening explosion echoed across the world, like the sky itself is being ripped apart.

Car alarms rang out instantly, windows shattered, and people screamed in panic.

I instinctively steadied myself before looking upward—

And my pupils shrank.

"What...the hell..."

The sky has split open.

A gigantic crack stretched across the heavens.

And behind it—

An enormous eyeball stared down at the world.

"Gulp"

I instinctly swallowed.

Then-

Screams erupted everywhere, Some people started running in terror, Others stood frozen in place like statues, unable to process the horrifying sight before them.

As I was also froze in place, I heard Silvia voice.

"LUKE!!!"

The panic in her voice sent a chill through me.

"Is something happened to her".

I instantly turn toward her and there she is fine, but.

She is desperately trying to reach me.

And the moment our eyes met—

I saw it clearly—fear, concern, and something deeper hidden within those purple eyes.

Before I could process the thought—

A blinding white light suddenly swallowed the entire world.

I instinctively shut my eyes.

Then—

I felt someone grab my hand tightly and pull me forward.

A few seconds later—
