Don’t regret it later.” Jounouchi Mai’s expression showed a hint of anger, feeling that Yugi was looking down on her.

A crimson light flashed.
The knight clad in black-and-red armor leapt from the deck, looking as if the <Red-Eyes Black Dragon> itself had transformed into armor for Gearfried.
Indeed, he was one of Gearfried’s many alternate forms.

“Set two cards face-down, end turn.”
“One of them is probably <Blast with Chain> for a combo, the other might be a Red-Eyes Trap?”

One of her set cards was indeed <Blast with Chain>, which could be equipped to <Red-Eyes Iron Knight> as an Equip Card.
The knight could then destroy her Equip Card without targeting, destroying a Magic or Trap on her field.
If <Blast with Chain> is destroyed as an Equip Card, its effect activates automatically, destroying a card on the field.
But now Yugi just summoned a monster directly into the Battle Phase.
With no Magic or Trap to destroy, her <Blast with Chain> combo couldn’t activate.
“He knows my combo.” Jounouchi Mai furrowed her brows and gave Elsie a resentful look.

But exchanging monsters like that would be too costly.
It was better to temporarily hold back her monster, preserve <Blast with Chain> for later, and anyway, one of Yugi’s monsters entering the Battle Phase couldn’t immediately defeat her.
With that in mind, Jounouchi Mai pressed her duel disk.
“Set card open, activate Continuous Trap Card, <Return of the Red-Eyes>!”
“Once per turn, if a Red-Eyes monster is on the field, I can revive one Normal Monster from the graveyard.”
“Come forth, <Red-Eyes Black Dragon>!”
Flames surged from the graveyard, and a massive black dragon emerged from the fire tornado.

As mentioned before, even a starved camel is still bigger than a horse.
Elsie possessed quite a few fairly decent cards, it was just that her overall system was still incomplete and she herself couldn’t fully wield them yet.
Among them, the one that was relatively more complete was the <Black Luster Soldier> line.

The black dragon donned steel armor, and even its massive clawed wrists were fitted with wing blades shaped like Gearfried’s weapon.
Roaring, it descended onto the field.
