Down beneath the palace, the ancient ley-lines cleansed of the parasitic corruption began to flow freely once more. Across the Northern Frost Domain, frozen rivers softened, the howling blizzards relaxed into a peaceful snowfall, and the cracking foundations of the realm's mountain passes locked firmly back into place. The natural rhythm of the land had been restored.

On the dais, the three Arch-Dukes gasped as the parasitic influence binding their minds suddenly snapped. The dark, frantic madness that had driven them to wage endless war cleared, leaving them feeling hollow, exhausted, and utterly defeated.

Adam lowered his hand, turning his gaze toward Duke Ironwood, who stood at the foot of the stairs alongside Princess Elena.Full novel: Omniarch — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

"The parasite is gone," Adam said calmly. "The ley-lines are pure once more. But a house without a pillar will only invite new rot."

Duke Ironwood stepped onto the dais, his boots crunching over the broken golden chairs of the defeated Arch-Dukes. He stopped before Adam, dropping to one knee with absolute, unwavering respect.

"Senior," Ironwood said, his voice ringing with absolute sincerity. "If not for your intervention, our realm would have become a graveyard. Name your reward. Half the kingdom's territory, our ancient treasuries, or the highest divine title our house will grant it without question."

Adam smiled faintly, looking down at the battle-hardened commander. "I have no use for land, gold, or titles. I am merely a traveler observing the world."

Adam gestured toward the glowing sapphire throne behind them.

"You hold a sense of duty to the innocent," Adam continued, his tone carrying the weight of an unshakeable cosmic decree. "You do not seek power for vanity, but to shield others from chaos. Therefore, you shall sit upon this throne, Duke Ironwood. Bring stability to this realm, and ensure its rhythm remains undisturbed."

Duke Ironwood looked up, his eyes widening. He looked at Princess Elena, who nodded with tears of relief gladdening her eyes, then at the two hundred high nobles in the amphitheater, all of whom were bowing their heads in silent, terrified submission.

"I... I swear upon my blood and soul, Senior," Duke Ironwood declared, placing his right hand over his heart. "So long as my line endures, the Northern Frost Domain shall stand as a realm of order, justice, and peace."

"Good," Adam replied softly.

With the conflict resolved and the balance restored, Adam turned toward the shattered entrance of the Grand Assembly Hall. He had no desire to participate in political coronations or court banquets. His brief stop in this frozen kingdom was complete; a fated connection had been answered, a world rhythm had been saved, and new paths now called to him across the southern horizon.

As he walked down the central aisle, the two hundred nobles parted like the sea, bowing deeply as he passed. Princess Elena hurried after him for a few steps, her voice calling out over the silent hall.

"Senior Adam!" she called out, stopping at the threshold. "Will we... will we ever see you again?"

Adam paused at the ruined doorway, glancing back over his shoulder with a quiet, knowing expression.

"The world is vast, Princess," Adam said, his soft voice drifting back through the cold air. "And time is long. Keep your realm peaceful, and perhaps our paths will cross again."

Without another word, Adam stepped out into the quiet sunlight of the high capital, his figure dissolving gracefully into the crisp mountain mist as he set off toward the southern continent.
