“So this is what the scenery beneath the sea looks like.

It’s so beautiful!”

Deep under the ocean, the three Boa sisters looked at the fish swimming past the windows from time to time, their eyes sparkling.Full novel: One Piece: Mythical Zoan — Ant King Meruem Form — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Around the Kunpeng, golden laser beams occasionally lit up the dim seabed.

The scene looked just like fireworks blooming.

The Kunpeng had already withdrawn its Armament Haki.

Even if its carapace was struck by Kizaru’s laser beams, it could repair itself immediately.

This was the exclusive ability of this squadron leader-level Chimera Ant.

It could control the growth of its own bones.

The carapace outside its body and the bone structures on its back could freely change shape.

It could transform into the most suitable state according to Morin’s needs.

It was precisely because of this special ability that Morin had cultivated it further after its birth.

This was the first squadron leader-level Chimera Ant Morin had created using marine life.

The Kunpeng swam extremely fast.

Before long, they could no longer see Kizaru’s laser attacks.

The Chimera Ants attacked from the bottom of the sea, and a massive Sea King was killed in an instant.

The huge Sea King was stuffed into the Kunpeng’s mouth, and this largest Chimera Ant began eating frantically.

The Chimera Ants were created by Morin using his Devil Fruit ability, and they also possessed some of Meruem’s traits.

As long as they ate large amounts of food, they could not only rapidly replenish their stamina, but also make their injured parts heal at incredible speed.

After replenishing its strength, the Kunpeng let out a long, melodious cry.

That sound resembled whale song, yet also seemed like the cry of a bird, spreading far through the dark and empty sea.

“We’ve left the Calm Belt!”

Feeling the flow of the ocean current, Morin knew that they had already returned from the Calm Belt to the Grand Line.

The Kunpeng had now gone very far from Bone Island, and the depth it had dived to was extremely great.

Borsalino would not be able to track him with Observation Haki at all.

Under Morin’s command, the Kunpeng rushed diagonally toward the surface at high speed.

As they drew closer and closer to the sea surface, the light around Morin also grew brighter, while the Kunpeng’s fin-like parts slowly began to grow longer and larger.

Boom!

As the Kunpeng’s massive body leaped out of the sea, its body seemed to pause in midair.

Its fins were rapidly transforming into wings.

After the wings spread open, feathers grew across its body, and these feathers were also made of white bone.

In less than three seconds, this Chimera Ant transformed from a giant horned whale into a massive eagle.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

The Kunpeng’s white bone wings beat violently, and it gradually began to rise into the air.

Its wings also expanded once more.

This was the reason Morin had named this Chimera Ant Kunpeng.

The Kunpeng was a biological warship capable of traveling through sea, sky, and depths alike.

There was no sea area in this world that the Kunpeng could not reach.

“We’re flying!”

Boa Hancock looked at the sea surface gradually shrinking below them.

She knew that she had finally obtained freedom, and she began cheering.

Hearing their elder sister cheer, Sandersonia and Marigold also began shouting loudly.

After being captured and imprisoned in Mary Geoise for four years, they were finally free once more.

“Thank you so much for saving us, Lord Morin!”

“Please allow us to become your subordinates, Lord Morin!”

After calming down, Boa Hancock brought her two younger sisters and knelt before Morin with hearts full of gratitude.

They and Morin had clearly been strangers, yet Morin had fought a Marine vice admiral to save them.

Even the Chimera Ants he had created had suffered so many casualties.

After killing so many Marines, Morin would definitely be wanted by the Marines this time.

Since Morin had already become a pirate, Boa Hancock was willing to drift across the sea with him as his subordinate.

Morin had saved their lives, and they were willing to repay him with their own.

“Good.

Then from now on, you are my subordinates!”

“Now your captain is hungry.

Go grill meat for me!”

Morin rubbed the small heads of the three Boa sisters and spoke to them.

“We understand, Captain Morin!”

Boa Hancock smiled at Morin.

Afterward, she and her two younger sisters skipped away to grill meat.

Morin had consumed a massive amount of stamina in this battle.

He had to recover it quickly.

The Sea Kings and fish around Bone Island had practically all been hunted clean by the Chimera Ants.

Morin needed to find a new base to develop.

The base had to meet three conditions.

There had to be enough living creatures, those creatures had to be strong enough, and the location had to be remote, making it difficult for others to discover.

According to Morin’s memory, there were two places that could satisfy these conditions.

Amazon Lily and the Boin Archipelago.

Amazon Lily, also known as the Island of Women, was an island inhabited only by women.

The island was home to a female warrior tribe known as the Kuja, and the nation they had established on the island was also called Amazon Lily.

This was the hometown of the three Boa sisters, and Boa Hancock was the future empress of this place.

Amazon Lily was located in the Calm Belt and was unaffected by any stormy weather.

The area around the island was filled with the nests of enormous Sea Kings, making it impossible for ordinary sailors to enter or leave recklessly.

This allowed the island’s residents to remain isolated from the outside world and free from outside disturbance.

Furthermore, the beasts on the nearby islands were incomparably powerful.

Monkey D.

Luffy had completed two years of harsh training on those islands.

Morin remembered that even Luffy’s Gear Third could not defeat the creatures on those islands.

If he could turn all those animals into Chimera Ants, perhaps Morin would gain countless squadron leader-level Chimera Ants.

The Boin Archipelago was a group of islands in the Grand Line that bloomed like flowers.

Deep within the island, the Forest of Temptation was filled everywhere with plants that grew enticing food.

Their aroma often attracted sea beasts and Sea Kings.

At the center of the island was the mouth of Baron Stomach.

When it ate, it would open its mouth and close its petals, causing its prey to fall into its mouth.

The island’s shape resembled a blooming flower.

The Thieves’ Forest there was inhabited by terrifying man-eating plants.

The closer one moved toward the outer edge of the island, the stronger the creatures became.

If Morin came here, then the Chimera Ants’ food supply would never run short again.

Morin was very interested in both of these places, but he could not reach either of them right now.

The reason was simple.

Morin had only just left Bone Island.

He was unfamiliar with this sea and had no idea where Amazon Lily or the Boin Archipelago were located.

Although the three Boa sisters were citizens of Amazon Lily, they had been captured by human traffickers the first time they went out to sea at the age of twelve.

They did not know the way home either.

“Looks like I still need to find a professional navigator.”

Morin thought to himself.
