As a great pirate, being duplicitous was a basic skill.

Even though Golden Lion was already preparing to scheme against Morin, he still acted very warmly toward him on the surface.

He even held nothing back as he explained his insights on Haki training to Morin.Full novel: One Piece: Mythical Zoan — Ant King Meruem Form — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

With Golden Lion’s help, Morin had already mastered advanced Armament Haki.

Aside from daily training, Morin did not convert any more Chimera Ants.

Instead, he first asked Golden Lion to find a scientist.

This scientist’s name was Vinsmoke Judge, the king of the Germa Kingdom, one of the World Government’s affiliated nations.

Judge was also a scientist.

In his youth, he had belonged to the illegal research team MADS alongside scientists such as Vegapunk and Queen.

After Vegapunk was taken away by the World Government, Judge single-handedly revitalized the Germa Kingdom through scientific research.

What Morin valued was Judge’s research technology on lineage factors.

Vinsmoke Judge and Vegapunk had jointly discovered the lineage factor of living beings, also known as the “blueprint of life.” Afterward, Judge applied that discovery to humans and created clone soldiers and modified humans.

The clone soldiers possessed powerful physiques and absolute obedience to orders.

Judge had added the concepts of “fear no death” and “never betray” into the bloodline of the clone soldiers, while the clone soldiers themselves were unaware of this.

Germa’s soldiers looked very similar to Morin’s soldier ant Chimera Ants.

Although the individual combat power of Germa soldiers could not compare to Morin’s Chimera Ants, they could use weapons, and their ability to cooperate in battle was extremely strong.

If Morin could learn Judge’s cloning technology, perhaps the speed at which he created Chimera Ants would also greatly increase.

Judge’s children were all modified humans.

After birth, they possessed physiques beyond ordinary people, allowing them to win at the starting line from the moment they were born.

All of these were research materials that Morin urgently needed.

Morin believed that with his learning ability, he would not need even a week to fully master Germa’s technology.

When that time came, it would be the moment he officially began creating his Chimera Ant army.

After the Germa Kingdom was driven out of the North Blue by Doflamingo, they had survived by selling war as their business.

To ordinary people, Germa was as vague and distant as a legend, but for a great pirate like Golden Lion, their whereabouts were extremely easy to find.

For forces that could stand at the peak of this sea, all of them had their own specialized intelligence channels.

Although Golden Lion had hidden himself from the sea for so long, Morin believed that with Golden Lion’s resources, finding Germa would be almost too easy.

Sure enough, on the third day, Golden Lion obtained intelligence on Germa.

“Germa is actually on the Grand Line right now.

That saves us a lot of time!”

When Morin saw this intelligence, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

If Judge had been somewhere in the Four Seas, Golden Lion would have had to move Merveille toward the Four Seas.

Now that Germa was on the Grand Line, capturing them would be almost too simple.

Under Golden Lion’s control, Merveille floated toward Germa’s location.

“Morin, that’s the Germa Kingdom!”

Golden Lion pointed at several snail ships beneath the clouds and spoke to Morin.

The Germa Kingdom was the only seafaring nation in the world without fixed territory.

Normally, it consisted of several dozen ships operating separately, and when they combined together, they became the kingdom.

Their snail ships were their land.

“Bring Judge and his children up here.”

Morin glanced at the snail ships below, then ordered nearly a hundred winged Chimera Ants to rush toward Germa.

“Jihahahaha!

No matter how many times I see it, your Chimera Ant army is still shocking to behold, Morin!”

Amid his wild laughter, Golden Lion and Morin also rode the Kunpeng as it descended toward Germa.

“Enemy attack!”

After the Chimera Ant soldiers tore apart the first wave of soldiers on the deck, alarms sounded across Germa’s snail ships, and soldiers began gathering rapidly one after another.

This was the highest-quality army Morin had ever seen.

Although their strength was not powerful, their combat discipline was extremely high.

Some of these soldiers were responsible for close combat, some used guns to fire at the Chimera Ants, and some soldiers had already begun using cannons.

Unfortunately, this time the Chimera Ants were launching an aerial assault.

No one on this sea had ever developed weapons specifically targeting the sky, so these cannons had no effect at all.

Germa’s soldiers could not shoot through the Chimera Ants’ carapaces, but the Chimera Ants could easily tear these soldiers apart.

In less than a moment, corpses and blood were already everywhere on Germa’s ships.

Even so, the soldiers continued fighting in silence.

Their silence added a hint of tragedy to this battle.

“Who is attacking me?!”

Inside Germa’s castle, Judge looked at the Chimera Ants constantly flying through the sky, his eyes filled with shock.

He had never heard of any force raising this many monsters, let alone a force that had a grudge against Germa.

As a researcher, Judge would estimate a target nation’s strength every time he accepted a combat mission.

Up until now, Germa had only fought small countries.

“Damn it.

If Reiju, Ichiji, and the others had grown up, Germa would never have lost this miserably!”

Judge looked at this scene and clenched his fists.

Although his children had already undergone lineage factor modifications, they were still young.

Right now, Germa only had Judge as its high-end combatant.

Seeing the Chimera Ants wreak such havoc in the sky, Judge could no longer endure it.

He put on his high-tech combat suit and charged outside.

If he allowed these monsters to keep slaughtering, all of his clone soldiers would be killed.

“Electromagnetic Shaft!”

Electric light wrapped around Judge’s spear, and a Chimera Ant was actually pierced through.

The Chimera Ant’s shrill scream was especially piercing on the silent battlefield, and Judge instantly became the center of the battlefield.

“That’s Judge.

I’ll leave him to you.

I’ll package up the snail ships and take them away!”

After Golden Lion saw Judge, he flew directly toward the snail ships.

Judge’s strength was too weak.

Golden Lion had no interest in making a move at all.

“Golden Lion and Morin?!”

Judge broke through the encirclement of Chimera Ants and saw the two men standing on the back of the giant bird that looked like a ship.

One of these two was a legend from the old era, while the other was a monster of the new era.

Germa could not afford to provoke either of them.

“Reiju!

Ichiji!

Niji!

Yonji!

Run!”

Seeing Golden Lion fly toward the snail ships, Judge let out a furious roar.

“You’re too noisy.

Quiet down.”

Morin’s voice sounded beside Judge’s ear.

Before Judge could counterattack, his vision went completely black.

Judge had been knocked unconscious by Morin.

Afterward, Morin’s Chimera Ant army and Golden Lion carried Germa’s snail ships and vanished into the clouds.
