Hearing Marco’s words—

Ramon suddenly burst into loud laughter.

“KUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

His laughter echoed loudly across the area, drawing the attention of several nearby pirates.

Then—

Ramon grabbed another gigantic piece of meat and swallowed it in a few bites before finally calming down slightly.

After that—

He looked toward Marco again.

This time—

His expression became more serious.

“Marco…”

“Did you know something?”

Marco raised an eyebrow slightly.

“…What?”

Ramon leaned back slightly while holding a large meat bone in his hand.

“In this world…”

“…strength is everything.”

Marco nodded calmly.

“Yeah.”

“I know that much.”

After all—

The New World itself proved that reality every single day.

Weak people died.

Strong people survived.

That was simply how the world worked.

But then—

Ramon suddenly looked toward the distance where Whitebeard was currently laughing together with Gol D.

Roger and Garp.

Then Ramon asked quietly,

“Marco…”

“What do you think will happen when Whitebeard grows old?”

Marco blinked once.

“…What?”

Ramon continued calmly,

“Or worse…”

“What happens if he dies someday?”

The moment those words entered Marco’s ears—

His expression changed immediately.

A dangerous look briefly flashed through his eyes.

“What do you mean by that?”

Clearly—

Marco did not like hearing someone casually talk about Whitebeard’s death.

But Ramon remained calm.

He took another bite of meat before speaking again.

“You probably don’t know this…”

“But Whitebeard’s fruit is slowly destroying his body.”

Marco’s eyes widened instantly.

“…What?”

“The Tremor-Tremor Fruit?”

Ramon nodded slowly.

“Yeah.”

Then he continued seriously,

“That fruit possesses terrifying destructive power.”

“It can destroy islands.”

“Cause earthquakes.”

“Create tsunamis.”

“Even shatter the air itself.”

Ramon’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“But…”

“…that kind of power always comes with a price.”

Marco remained silent while listening carefully now.

Then Ramon continued,

“Whenever Whitebeard releases those massive shockwaves…”

“…his own body also receives strain from the vibrations.”

“Maybe not immediately.”

“Maybe not visibly right now.”

“But over years…”

“…the damage accumulates.”

Marco’s expression slowly became heavier.

Meanwhile—

Ramon looked again toward Whitebeard in the distance.

The giant pirate was currently laughing loudly while drinking alcohol like a monster.

At first glance—

He looked invincible.

Untouchable.

Like a man who could never fall.

But Ramon knew better.

“I researched previous users of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit.”

“None of them reached Whitebeard’s level.”

“But all of them eventually suffered terrible physical deterioration.”

Ramon’s eyes darkened slightly.

“Whitebeard is different because his body is absurdly strong.”

“He can withstand far more than others.”

“But even monsters have limits.”

Marco clenched his fists slightly hearing that.

He wanted to deny it.

Wanted to argue.

But deep inside—

A small part of him understood Ramon might not be completely wrong.

After all—

Whitebeard’s power truly was abnormal.

Then Ramon suddenly stood up.

Dusting sand from his clothes—

He started walking toward the area where Roger, Whitebeard, and Garp were eating together.

But before leaving completely—

He stopped briefly beside Marco and spoke one final time.

“Marco.”

“You’ve got talent.”

“A lot more than you realize.”

Marco looked up silently.

Then Ramon continued,

“So become stronger.”

“As fast as possible.”

“At least strong enough to stand at Admiral level someday.”

Marco’s eyes widened slightly hearing that.

Then Ramon said quietly,

“Because the future won’t stay peaceful forever.”

His voice became calmer.

“Heavy storms are coming.”

“And when monsters fall…”

“…entire crews collapse with them.”

Ramon glanced once more toward Whitebeard.

Then he added,

“Who knows…”

“Maybe one day even the Whitebeard Pirates could be destroyed.”

Marco immediately frowned hearing that.

But before he could respond—

Ramon had already started walking away.

Leaving Marco sitting there silently.

Deep in thought.

For the first time—

Marco found himself wondering something he had never seriously considered before.

What would truly happen…

…if Whitebeard ever disappeared one day?

At the center of the island—

The atmosphere had become strangely peaceful after days of endless battle.

Huge barrels of alcohol were scattered around.

Mountains of food covered the ground.

Meanwhile—

Whitebeard, Gol D.

Roger, and Garp were currently sitting together while drinking and laughing loudly.

“GULALALALALALA!!”

“AH HA HA HA HA!!”

“BWAHAHAHAHA!!”

Nearby—

Members of both pirate crews were also relaxing carefully while still keeping some distance from the Marines.

The atmosphere looked lively.

But then—

Something suddenly changed.

Roger’s eyes widened slightly while staring at a few papers spread before Whitebeard.

Those papers contained copied writings from several Poneglyphs.

Roger immediately looked toward Whitebeard with shock visible on his face.

“…What?”

“Whitebeard…”

“Are you saying Oden can actually read these Poneglyphs?”

Roger’s tone had become unusually serious now.

Meanwhile—

Whitebeard casually drank alcohol before laughing loudly again.

“GULALALALALA!!”

“Looks like he can.”

Beside him—

Kozuki Oden crossed his arms proudly and nodded.

“Yeah.”

“I can read that language.”

The moment Roger heard that—

His expression completely changed.

Instead—

His eyes became extremely serious.

Even Rayleigh and the others noticed the sudden shift immediately.

Roger slowly stood up.

Then—

To everyone’s shock—

He looked directly at Whitebeard and lowered his head deeply.

“Whitebeard.”

“For one year…”

“Please lend Oden to me.”

The entire area became silent instantly.

Roger continued seriously,

“I swear I’ll return him safely.”

“But I need him.”

“Please.”

The members of the Roger Pirates immediately looked stunned.

Especially Scopper Gaban.

Gaban immediately stood up and yelled,

“Captain!!”

“He’s our enemy!”

“Don’t bow your head to him!”

But Roger ignored him completely.

His expression remained serious.

“No.”

“I have to do this.”

Even Whitebeard looked surprised for a brief moment seeing Roger lower his pride like that.

Then—

Suddenly—

Whitebeard’s expression darkened.

Veins bulged slightly on his forehead.

“Roger…”

Whitebeard slowly clenched his fist.

Then—

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!

He punched the air violently.

The atmosphere itself cracked apart.

Massive shockwaves exploded outward instantly.

The ocean around the island distorted violently.

Gigantic waves rose again.

Even nearby pirates stumbled slightly from the pressure.

Whitebeard glared directly at Roger.

“Roger…”

“Are you trying to take my family away from me?”

His voice had become heavy now.

“Do you really think I’ll just hand over one of my family?”

The pressure released from Whitebeard’s body became overwhelming.

Meanwhile—

Oden suddenly stepped forward.

“Whitebeard!!”

Whitebeard looked toward him.

Oden’s eyes were burning with excitement.

“Please let me go!”

Whitebeard narrowed his eyes slightly.

But Oden continued immediately,

“I want to know the truth too!”

“I want to discover the secrets hidden in those stones!”

“The mysteries of the world!”

“I can’t ignore this chance!”

For the first time—

Whitebeard genuinely looked conflicted.

After all—

He knew Oden’s personality better than anyone.

Once Oden decided something—

Stopping him became almost impossible.

Meanwhile—

Nearby—

Ramon had just arrived while carrying another giant plate of food.

Seeing the entire situation—

A huge grin appeared on his face instantly.

Then he burst into loud laughter.

“KUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

Everyone nearby looked toward him.

Then Ramon laughed while pointing toward Roger’s crew.

“Looks like Roger’s going to get another Conqueror’s Haki monster on his ship!”

The moment Whitebeard heard that—

Veins bulged on his forehead again.

“SHUT UP, BRAT!!”

Whitebeard immediately yelled at Ramon angrily.

Meanwhile—

Beside them—

Garp burst into loud laughter after seeing Whitebeard getting irritated.

“BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

“You’re getting angry over the truth, Newgate!!”

Roger also started laughing loudly again.

Even Rayleigh smirked slightly.

Meanwhile—

Oden looked more excited than ever.

Because deep inside—

He already knew.

This decision…

…would completely change his destiny forever.

Soon—

Time passed on the island.

The temporary alliance and feast between monsters finally came to an end.

The atmosphere slowly became quieter as both sides prepared to leave once again.

At the shore—

The Roger Pirates had already begun departing from the island.

Their ship slowly moved away from the coast while waves crashed against the shore.

And standing aboard that ship—

Was now Kozuki Oden along with his family.

Meanwhile—

Back on the island—

Whitebeard was sitting on a large chair silently.

His massive arms remained crossed.

His expression looked visibly irritated.

Clearly—

He still had not completely accepted Oden leaving with Roger.

Suddenly—

One of the crew members ran toward him nervously.

“Pops!”

“Roger Pirates are leaving now!”

Whitebeard remained silent at first.

Then the pirate continued awkwardly,

“…They also left behind a huge pile of gold and food.”

The moment Whitebeard heard that—

Veins bulged slightly on his forehead.

Then he suddenly stood up and roared loudly,

“WHAT ARE THOSE IDIOTS DOING?!”

His voice echoed throughout the island.

“Do those Roger Pirates going to let Oden and his family starve?!”

“Are they trying to insult me?!”

Nearby pirates immediately panicked seeing Whitebeard angry again.

Then Whitebeard pointed toward his crew and yelled loudly, “GO!!”

“Don’t let Oden and his family leave empty-handed!”

The crew immediately nodded loudly.

“YES, POPS!!”

Without wasting time—

Dozens of pirates started running toward the shore carrying huge amounts of food, treasure, alcohol, supplies, and gifts.

Some even carried entire barrels over their shoulders.

Meanwhile—

Farther away—

Garp and Ramon watched the scene unfold.

Both immediately burst into laughter.

“BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

“KUHAHAHAHAHA!!”

Ramon wiped tears from his eyes while laughing.

“Whitebeard really acts tough while caring the most!”

Garp laughed loudly beside him.

“That idiot Newgate has always been like that!”

Meanwhile—

At the shore—

Roger Pirates also burst into laughter after seeing Whitebeard’s crew running toward them carrying mountains of supplies.

Even Roger himself laughed loudly.

“AH HA HA HA HA!!”

“Newgate’s still pretending to be angry!”

Oden meanwhile looked emotional seeing Whitebeard’s actions.

Even after letting him leave—

Whitebeard still worried about him like family.

Meanwhile—

Ramon suddenly looked toward Garp.

“Grandpa.”

“Let’s go.”

“The Marines are probably waiting for us already.”

Garp nodded casually.

“Yeah.”

“Let’s head back.”

Without wasting time—

Both Garp and Ramon jumped high into the sky.

BOOM!!

Using Moonwalk—

Both of them rapidly moved across the sky at incredible speed.

The sight shocked many younger pirates and Marines nearby.

Especially seeing Ramon casually keeping up with Garp’s speed.

Meanwhile—

Whitebeard noticed them leaving as well.

He silently watched the grandfather and grandson moving farther away through the sky.

Then—

Whitebeard slowly narrowed his eyes slightly.

A thoughtful expression appeared on his face.

“…That brat…”

Whitebeard muttered quietly,

“He’s going to become a monster someday.”

Not just strong.

Not merely talented.

But a true monster capable of shaking the world itself.

Whitebeard could already see it clearly.

Then—

Whitebeard turned toward his crew again and roared loudly, “ALL OF YOU!!”

“Prepare to depart!!”

The entire crew immediately responded loudly.

“YES, POPS!!”

Soon—

Both legendary pirate crews and the Marines finally began leaving the island separately.

But none of them realized yet—

That this meeting…

Would later become one of the most important moments in history.

Along the way back toward the Marine ship—

Ramon remained unusually quiet for once.

The wind blew strongly against his face as he and Garp used Moonwalk across the sky.

Below them—

The endless sea stretched far into the horizon.

Meanwhile—

Inside his mind—

Ramon was thinking deeply.

‘Thank God I got out of that situation without changing too much…’

Honestly—

Even Ramon himself had not expected to get dragged into a battlefield involving Roger, Whitebeard, and Garp all at once.

Those three were absolute monsters.

The strongest people alive in the current era.

Even remembering their clashes made Ramon feel excited again.

Especially that terrifying collision of Conqueror’s Haki.

Ramon grinned slightly.

Still…

That fight was amazing.

Then his thoughts shifted toward Marco.

‘I already warned Marco about the future.

Hopefully he becomes strong enough before Whitebeard starts weakening.’

Because Ramon knew very clearly—

Once Whitebeard declined—

The balance protecting the Whitebeard Pirates would eventually collapse as well.

And the New World was not a kind place.

The moment a Yonko weakened—

Countless enemies would immediately swarm toward them.

Soon—

Both Ramon and Garp finally reached the Marine ship.

The Marines waiting aboard immediately relaxed after seeing them return safely.

After all—

They had just witnessed battles between legends capable of destroying islands casually.

Suddenly—

One Marine quickly ran toward Garp while holding a Den Den Mushi nervously.

“Vice Admiral Garp!”

“It’s a call for you from Admiral Sengoku!”

Garp frowned slightly.

“What does Sengoku want now?”

The Marine shook his head quickly.

“I-I don’t know, sir!”

“He only told me to hand this to you immediately after your return!”

Garp sighed lazily before grabbing the Den Den Mushi from the Marine.

Then he answered casually,

“Hello, Sengoku.”

“What happened now?”

Immediately—

An enraged voice exploded from the Den Den Mushi.

“GARP, YOU BASTARD!!”

“WHAT HAPPENED OVER THERE?!”

The surrounding Marines instantly stiffened.

Even Ramon scratched his ear slightly from Sengoku’s loud voice.

Meanwhile—

Sengoku continued yelling furiously through the Den Den Mushi.

“Why were Roger and Whitebeard both on that island?!”

“What happened there?!”

Garp fell silent briefly.

Then—

Without hesitation—

He lied calmly.

“Nothing much.”

“They were just sparring a little.”

Nearby Marines sweatdropped hearing Garp casually describe monsters destroying islands as “sparring.”

Meanwhile—

On the other side—

Sengoku narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

“…Just sparring?”

“Yes.”

Garp answered casually again while picking his nose.

Then Sengoku asked immediately,

“Did they exchange anything?”

“Any information?”

“Any deal?”

Garp replied instantly,

“Nope.”

“Nothing important.”

“It’s just that Oden and his family left with Roger.”

The moment Sengoku heard that—

The Den Den Mushi’s expression changed dramatically.

“WHAT?!”

“Oden left Whitebeard Pirates?!”

“How is that possible?!”

“Newgate would never allow someone from his family to leave so easily!”

Garp shrugged casually.

“How would I know?”

“They talked privately.”

“I didn’t interfere.”

Another lie.

Ramon quietly glanced sideways at Garp.

Grandpa lies surprisingly smoothly…

Meanwhile—

Sengoku’s voice became more suspicious.

“Garp.”

“Are you hiding something from me?”

Garp answered immediately,

“No.”

“I really don’t know.”

On the other side—

Sengoku sighed heavily.

He knew Garp far too well.

And unfortunately—

That also meant he knew Garp was probably hiding something right now.

But forcing answers from Garp was nearly impossible.

Finally—

Sengoku sighed again tiredly.

“…Fine.”

“Forget it for now.”

Then his tone became serious again.

“Return immediately.”

“Big Mom has started causing trouble again.”

The moment Ramon heard the name Big Mom—

His eyes narrowed slightly.

Meanwhile—

Garp simply answered lazily,

“Yeah, yeah.”

“We’re already heading back.”

Then—

Click.

The call ended.

For a moment—

The sea became quiet again.

Then Garp suddenly grinned widely.

“Looks like we’re going hunting again, Ramon.”

Ramon grinned back excitedly.

“KUHAHAHAHA!!”

“Finally!”

“Another monster!”
