News of the fight spread quickly across the Marine Headquarters.

Within hours, it reached the highest office.

Sengoku stood behind his desk, papers half-forgotten, his expression unusually serious.

“…Zephyr.”

“Is it true?”

“You actually fought Ramon?”

Across from him, Zephyr stood calmly, arms crossed, still clearly remembering the exchange.

He nodded once.

“It’s true.”

Sengoku’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“…How strong is he?”

Zephyr exhaled slowly, choosing his words carefully.

“Strong enough…”

“…to fight a Vice Admiral level opponent in straight exchanges.”

A pause.

Then he added,

“And his Observation Haki… is already naturally refined.”

Sengoku went silent.

For a moment, only the sound of paper shifting filled the room.

Then he muttered,

“…Just as expected.”

His tone wasn’t surprised.

It was more cautious than anything else.

He leaned back slightly, eyes lowering.

“That kind of growth speed…”

“If this continues…”

He didn’t finish the sentence immediately.

Then he looked up again, more serious this time.

“…I just hope he doesn’t get involved in the conflict.”

“The one between the World Government…”

“And the Revolutionaries.”

The room fell quiet again.

Zephyr didn’t respond immediately.

Because both of them understood— a child like Ramon, with that kind of potential…

would not stay out of the world’s chaos for long.

Time passed.

One year passed since Ramon arrived at the Marine Headquarters.

Now he was four years old.

But “four years old” meant nothing in his case anymore.

Under the personal training of Zephyr, he was already learning the Six Powers.

Inside the training grounds, Zephyr watched silently as Ramon moved.

Soru.

Tekkai.

Shigan.

Rankyaku.

Geppo.

Kami-e.

Ramon’s movements were still rough—but improving at an absurd rate.

Zephyr exhaled slowly.

“…You’ve almost mastered all of them.”

Ramon wiped sweat from his face and looked up.

“So what’s next?”

Zephyr’s expression turned serious.

“The most important one.”

“Life Return.”

Ramon tilted his head.

“Life Return?”

Zephyr nodded.

“It’s the ability to control your body completely.”

“Muscles.

Organs.

Even hair.”

“You can regulate your body’s condition at will.”

“With enough mastery… you can stop bleeding instantly, increase recovery, even reshape your physical output mid-fight.”

Ramon blinked.

“…Sounds useful.”

Zephyr crossed his arms.

“It’s not just useful.”

“It’s dangerous if misused.”

Ramon grinned.

“Then I want it.”

Zephyr smirked slightly.

“…I figured you’d say that.”

Without warning— he stepped forward and threw a punch.

Ramon reacted instantly.

BOOM!

Their fists collided again.

Training resumed.

No hesitation.

No fear.

Just pure combat instinct between teacher and student.

Another year passed.

Ramon was now five years old.

Inside Zephyr’s office, the atmosphere was chaotic in a completely different way.

Garp was sitting there casually, stuffing rice crackers into his mouth like it was a full-time mission.

“Zephyr…”

“Do you think today I’ll break my record?”

“Most crackers eaten in one sitting.”

Zephyr didn’t even look up from the documents.

“…That’s what you’re thinking about?”

Garp laughed loudly.

“Bwaahahaha!

What else is there to think about?”

Zephyr finally looked at him with a tired expression.

“…You’re hopeless.”

Garp leaned back, still laughing.

“It’s just fun, you know!”

“Bwaahahaha!”

Zephyr sighed deeply and returned to his paperwork, already regretting every life decision that led him to this moment.

Inside the office of Zephyr at the Marine Headquarters, the atmosphere was tense.

The door had just been kicked open.

Sengoku stood there, visibly furious.

“GARP!!

WHERE IS YOUR BASTARD GRANDSON?!”

Garp paused mid-laugh.

“…What happened, Sengoku?”

“You weren’t this angry a minute ago.”

Sengoku’s eye twitched.

“DON’T ACT LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW!”

“DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR GRANDSON DID?!”

Garp tilted his head.

“…Hm?”

Sengoku took a deep breath, trying to hold back his anger.

“…Your grandson.”

“…Cooked and ate my pet goat.”

A heavy silence followed.

Then—

“BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

Garp burst into laughter.

“That’s my grandson!”

“I like his style!”

Zephyr, standing nearby, tried to hold back a laugh—

“…Pfft.”

—but failed.

Sengoku’s face darkened.

“…Both of you are impossible.”

He pointed at Garp again.

“Where is he?!”

Zephyr answered calmly.

“I sent him out with Bogard.”

“To bring my family safely to Marine Headquarters.”

Sengoku frowned.

“…Why now?”

Zephyr’s expression turned slightly serious.

“Ramon didn’t invite Garp.”

“He chose to do it himself.”

He paused.

“…He once told me something.”

“If I leave pirates alive, they might come back for revenge…”

“…and target my family.”

The room went quiet for a moment.

Even Garp’s laughter faded slightly.

“…That kid…”

Sengoku exhaled slowly.

“…He’s still a child.”

But his tone carried concern.

Then he straightened up.

“Call me.”

“I’ll deal with it myself.”

Garp immediately laughed again.

“BWAHAHAHA!

That’s more like it!”

Zephyr sighed deeply.

“…I need more rice crackers.”

Hearing Garp’s laughter echoing through the office, Sengoku snapped.

“SHUT UP, YOU BASTARD!!”

“It’s because of you and your family that everything keeps turning into chaos!”

Then he pointed sharply at Garp.

“And no more crackers for you!”

Without waiting for a response, Sengoku turned and stormed out of the room.

From behind him, Garp immediately shouted,

“NOOO!!

YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME, SENGOKU!!”

“BWAHAHA— I MEAN— THAT’S UNFAIR!!”

His voice echoed down the hallway.

Zephyr sighed deeply, rubbing his forehead as the usual chaos unfolded.

“…Idiots.”

Then his expression slowly shifted as he looked out toward the sea.

“…That kid…”

“…He’s already at the level of a Yonko commander.”

A brief silence followed.

Zephyr turned to Garp.

“Hey, Garp.”

“Let’s go eat something.”

Garp instantly stopped mid-complaint.

“…Yeah.”

“Let’s go.”

And just like that— the two of them walked toward the cafeteria as if nothing had happened, leaving the usual storm of Marine Headquarters behind them.

On the sea, a Marine ship cut through the waves toward its destination.

Ramon stood near the railing, the wind pressing against him as he looked beside him at Bogard.

After a moment, he tilted his head.

“Mr.

Bogard… can I ask you something?”

Bogard glanced at him calmly.

“Ask, kid.”

Ramon crossed his arms.

“How strong are you exactly?”

Bogard was silent for a moment, as if choosing not to exaggerate.

“…Admiral level.”

Ramon blinked.

“…Huh?”

Bogard added in his usual calm tone,

“Or close to it, depending on conditions.”

For a second, even the wind felt quieter.

Ramon looked genuinely surprised.

“Then why aren’t you an Admiral?”

Bogard turned his gaze back toward the sea.

“I chose not to be.”

“That position doesn’t matter to me.”

Ramon frowned slightly.

“…Then what matters?”

Bogard answered simply,

“Staying besides Vice Admiral Garp to fight against the evil.”

“That’s enough for me.”

There was no hesitation in his voice.

No ambition for rank.

Just loyalty.

Ramon went quiet, processing that answer.

Then he slowly nodded.

“…I see.”

He looked out at the ocean again, thinking differently now.

So strength wasn’t always about rising higher.

Sometimes… it was about choosing where you stood.

Soon, the Marine ship reached an island — the hometown of Admiral Zephyr.

Ramon stood on the deck, looking at the land ahead as the ship anchored.

He turned toward Bogard and spoke.

“Mr.

Bogard… you go and bring Admiral Zephyr’s family.

You already know them, right?”

“I’ll stay on the ship.”

Bogard gave a calm nod.

“…Understood.”

Without wasting time, he stepped off the ship and walked toward the island.

Ramon remained behind on the deck.

He looked around slowly, scanning the quiet harbor.

No strong enemies.

No tension.

Just a normal island.

He leaned back slightly, resting his hands behind his head.

“…Nothing interesting here.”

So he stayed on the ship, watching the shoreline while the wind moved gently across the sea, waiting for Bogard to return.

After watching Bogard disappear toward the island, Ramon exhaled slowly and glanced up at the sky.

“…Thank God… I managed to convince Zephyr.”

Zephyr.

“I didn’t want him to lose his family… like in the original timeline.”

He paused for a moment, then added quietly,

“…He’s a good man after all.”

Ramon then straightened up and walked toward the cannon storage on the deck.

Without hesitation, he grabbed one of the heavy cannonballs.

The Marines nearby froze slightly.

“…He’s lifting that bare-handed?”

Ramon ignored them.

His eyes locked onto the horizon.

Far in the distance— a pirate ship was sailing.

A captain’s voice echoed faintly across the sea.

“THERE!

A MARINE SHIP!

SINK THEM FIRST AND LOOT THE ISLAND!”

“YEAH!!”

The crew roared in agreement.

But before they could even adjust their cannons—

THOOM.

A cannonball tore through the air at insane speed.

Thrown directly by Ramon.

It struck the pirate ship with devastating force.

BOOM!

Wood shattered, flames burst, and the ship jolted violently.

“WHAT—?!”

The captain barely had time to react before another impact followed.

BOOM!!

The second strike split the ship apart completely.

Within seconds, the vessel began sinking into the sea.

Silence returned to the ocean.

On the Marine ship, the crew stood frozen for a moment.

Then slowly turned their gaze toward Ramon.

He simply dusted his hands off.

“…Trash cleared.”

The Marines looked at him with a mix of awe and disbelief.

“…That kid…”

“…He didn’t even use a cannon.”

And in that moment, his reputation among the Marines grew once again—not as a trainee…

…but as something far more dangerous.

Soon, after a few minutes, Bogard returned to the ship—this time accompanied by Admiral Zephyr’s family.

Ramon glanced over and gave a small nod.

“Good.

Let’s head back to Marineford.”

The sailors quickly adjusted the sails, and the ship began its return journey across the sea.

Along the way, they encountered multiple pirate ships attempting to intercept them.

But none of them lasted long.

Ramon casually picked up cannonballs one after another.

No hesitation.

No wasted motion.

He hurled them with terrifying accuracy and raw strength.

BOOM—!

One ship shattered.

BOOM—!

Another sank before it could even fire back.

BOOM—!

The sea filled with splinters and smoke as pirate vessels were wiped out in moments.

Behind him, the Marines watched in stunned silence.

Then whispers slowly began spreading among them.

“…He’s just like Vice Admiral Garp…”

Garp

“…Throwing cannonballs like they’re nothing.”

Another Marine nodded, still shocked.

“…No… even worse…”

“…He’s becoming a Marine hero in the making.”

Ramon didn’t react to their words.

He simply picked up another cannonball, eyes fixed on the horizon.

One after another, the pirate ships disappeared behind them as the Marine vessel continued forward—unchallenged.

Inside the office at Marine Headquarters, at sengoku’s office only Garp and Zephyr were present at first.

They were casually discussing reports when—

BANG!

The door was kicked open.

Ramon stood there, slightly out of breath.

Zephyr looked up. Get faster updates on g.com.

“Ramon… did you get them safely?”

Ramon nodded.

“Yeah.

Ran into some pirates on the way.

I sank them.”

He added calmly,

“Your family is already being taken to your rooms.”

Zephyr gave a small nod.

“…Good.

Thanks.”

Then—

“BWAHAHAHAHA!”

Garp immediately burst into laughter.

“You brat!

You always turn everything into chaos and why you ate that goat alone!”

Ramon froze slightly.

“…Ah.”

“Sorry Grandpa, I forgot.”

BAM!

A “fist of love” landed on his head.

“YOU BRAT!

DON’T FORGET AGAIN!”

Ramon clutched his head.

“Ow!

I won’t!”

Just as the chaos continued—

The door slowly opened again.

This time, the atmosphere changed.

Sengoku stepped inside.

He paused.

Looked at Ramon.

Then at Garp.

Then at Zephyr.

“…I leave the office for a few hours…”

His eye twitched.

“…and this is what I come back to?”

Ramon instantly stiffened.

Sengoku pointed directly at him.

“You.”

“…You ate my goat.”

“And now you’re thinking about doing it again.”

His knuckles cracked slowly.

Ramon went pale.

“…Grandpa… help me.”

Garp immediately looked away.

“…Who are you?

I don’t know him.”

Ramon’s eyes widened.

“WAIT—?!”

BAM!

Another fist landed.

Garp laughed as chaos erupted again in the office, while Zephyr quietly rubbed his forehead, already expecting nothing less from Marine Headquarters.

Night finally settled over Marine Headquarters.

Ramon slowly walked into the dorm, still slightly tired from the day.

He muttered softly to himself, almost like a habit—half thinking, half recalling fragments of things he’d learned along the way.

His roommate, who had been resting on the other bed, noticed him.

“Hey, Ramon… where were you?

I didn’t see you for a few days.”

Ramon glanced at him and answered casually,

“Sorry.

I was busy.”

“I went with Mr.

Bogard to complete a mission assigned by Admiral Zephyr.”

The roommate nodded slowly.

“Oh… I see.”

Ramon didn’t say anything further.

Without wasting time, he walked over to his bed and lay down.

Within seconds, his breathing steadied.

And just like always—he fell asleep almost instantly.

The roommate watched him for a moment, a little stunned.

“…He falls asleep so fast…”

Then he sighed lightly, turned over, and closed his eyes as well.

The dorm went quiet again, leaving only the calm sounds of night at Marineford.

The next morning at Marine Headquarters, Sengoku called Ramon.

When Ramon arrived—

BANG!

The office door was kicked open as usual.

“Hello, Mr.

Sengoku!

You called me?”

Sengoku immediately snapped.

“YOU BRAT!!

WHY DO YOU ALWAYS KICK MY DOOR LIKE GARP?!”

“CAN’T YOU EVEN LEARN TO KNOCK?!”

Ramon laughed awkwardly.

“Sorry, sorry!

My mistake!”

Sengoku sighed heavily, clearly exhausted, then took out a document and placed it on the desk.

“This is your assignment.”

Ramon tilted his head.

“…What is it?”

Sengoku answered firmly,

“Your official placement.”

“You are now assigned as a trainee under Garp.”

“You will accompany him in pirate hunting missions.”

Ramon blinked once.

“…Really?”

Sengoku nodded.

“Yes.”

A moment of silence—

Then Ramon’s face lit up.

“YOOOOSH!!”

He suddenly jumped in excitement.

Without another word, he dashed out of the office at full speed.

“THANK YOU!”

Sengoku stared at the empty doorway.

Inside the office, Sengoku exhaled deeply after Ramon left the room.

A rare moment of silence filled the office.

He slowly leaned back in his chair.

“…I’m free.”

A small tear formed at the corner of his eye.

“…Finally.”

“After two years of torture…”

“I don’t have to suffer anymore.”

Outside the office, life at Marineford continued as usual—unaware that for Sengoku, this was the first moment of peace he had felt in a very long time.

Garp was preparing to head out to sea for another pirate-hunting mission when a familiar voice called from behind.

“Grandpa!

Grandpa!”

He turned and saw Ramon sprinting toward him.

“Look what I’ve got!”

Garp laughed loudly.

“Bwahahaha!

What is it, brat?”

Ramon stopped in front of him, slightly out of breath but excited.

“Grandpa, I got orders from Sengoku!”

“He said I can officially go out as a trainee under you and hunt pirates!”

Garp paused for a moment—then burst into laughter again.

“Bwahahaha!

Good!”

“So you’re finally coming with me, huh?”

Ramon grinned.

“Yosha!

Let’s go!”

Without wasting time, both of them turned and walked toward the Marine ship.

On deck, Bogard and the Marines were already waiting as the ship prepared to set sail once again.

From the high windows of the Marine Headquarters, Sengoku stood watching the Marine ship gradually disappear into the sea horizon.

Below, Garp was already on board, laughing loudly as usual, completely unaware of the chaos he left behind.

Sengoku let out a long breath.

“…Finally gone.”

Without wasting time, he walked back into his office, reached a hidden drawer, and pulled out a packet of rice crackers.

He opened it calmly and started eating.

“…At least I can eat in peace now.”

He leaned back in his chair, chewing slowly.

Then his expression suddenly tightened.

“…No.”

His eyes twitched.

“I still haven’t recovered my goat.”

He slammed the table lightly.

“That brat… that grandson of Garp…”

He pointed toward the sea as if Ramon could still hear him.

“…He ate it.”

Sengoku sighed deeply again, his anger fading into exhausted disbelief.

“…I swear I need a vacation.”
