Who in this world of pirates has a reputation that smells sweet?
Who isn’t someone everyone wishes they could eliminate on sight?
“Kid, did you dig up Roger’s ancestral grave or something?” Shiki asked curiously.
Ron looked up at the man with flowing golden hair and a fierce expression, shook his head, and honestly explained why his reputation was so terrible.
Then…
many people were stunned, followed by waves of laughter erupting across the ship.
“Kid, are you trying to kill me with laughter?”
“Tch…
I thought you’d done something truly outrageous.”
“It sounds a bit pitiful, but the story is genuinely funny.”
Everyone on board chimed in, and no one thought Ron had done anything wrong.
Some even felt Ron had been rather merciful—if it were them, a single bad mood could mean wiping out the neighboring village along with the target.
Others criticized Roger for his hypocritical righteousness.
If he didn’t like someone, why bother rejecting them with such a flimsy excuse?
They were all pirates—whose hands were truly clean?
Silver Axe stared intently at Ron for a moment before shifting his gaze to Rocks.
“Rocks, how’s this kid’s strength?”
“Strength?” Rocks paused, thinking it over.
“Should be decent, I guess.
What do you think, Ron?”
Ron frowned slightly as a blue status panel, visible only to him, suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Host: Ron
Basic Abilities: Observation Haki [Intermediate (245/500)], Armament Haki [Intermediate (159/500)], Conqueror’s Haki [Intermediate (67/500)], Taijutsu [?
(?/?)] Kenjutsu [Intermediate (133/500)]
Constitution: Sage Body (Unlocked), Sage Eye (Locked)
Special Ability: Four-Tails (Unlocked)
Triggered Ability: Lava Release (Source: Four-Tails)
Mystery Wheel >>> (Unlock Condition: One Devil Fruit)
Looking at his current status panel, Ron wasn’t sure.
In the world of pirates, what level did this even count as?
Since crossing over, he had never fought any named character from the original story.
His opponents had only been mountain bandits, some no-name pirate crew, or marines from an unknown branch.
“Gyahahaha!
Dumbass Silver Axe, what can you figure out just by asking?” Shiki taunted mockingly.
Silver Axe instantly scowled.
He and Shiki were sworn rivals, each looking for a chance to take the other out.
“Got nothing better to do?
Then go die, Shiki,” Silver Axe snapped back.
“Gyahahaha!
You piece of shit, how vicious—cursing someone to die,” Shiki retorted immediately.
Ron nodded faintly…
Yeah, this felt right.
This was the “discipline” of the Rocks Pirates.
“Can you two stop howling like wolves?
Don’t scare the new guy,” Linlin interjected, unable to take it anymore.
Shiki and Silver Axe almost simultaneously turned to glare at Linlin, replying ungratefully, “You’re really overstepping, Linlin.”
After cursing each other out, the two turned back and grabbed each other by the collars, hurling insults.
Golden Lion: “#@¥¥ (What the hell?)”
Silver Axe: “!@#¥%@ (What the hell?)”
“Boom!”
Right at that moment, both Golden Lion and Silver Axe were kicked off the ship by a tremendous force.
Ron was momentarily stunned.
Looking closely, he realized that Rocks had somehow already boarded the ship and kicked both of them off with a single foot.
“You two idiots, shut up for a while!” Rocks scolded irritably.
Golden Lion and Silver Axe, having been kicked off the ship, weren’t angry either.
They glanced at each other and then issued threats.
“Fine, Shiki, for Rocks’ sake, I won’t bother with you today.”
“Idiot, that’s my line.”
Rocks ignored the two and instead turned to Ron, asking, “Everyone seems pretty curious about your strength.
How about it, want to show us a thing or two?
Ron.”
“Who should I fight?” Ron didn’t really mind.
Mainly, he also wanted to gauge his current strength—how far he could go if he went all out.
Rocks thought for a moment, feeling that many people weren’t suitable—either they couldn’t control their strength or they simply weren’t interested, thinking it a waste of time.
“Got it.” Rocks’ eyes lit up, feeling he’d found the right candidate.
“Kaido, you give it a try.”
Kaido, who had been leaning against the ship’s railing watching the show, was taken aback and quickly refused, “Hey, Rocks, don’t make me do all the dirty work.”
But Rocks leaned in close to Kaido with a smile and whispered a few words in his ear.
It was clear that the reluctance on Kaido’s face gradually faded, and then…
he was kicked off the ship by Rocks.
Kaido climbed up from the ground angrily, about to complain, when his spiked club was thrown down to him.
“Do a good job, Kaido.” Rocks smiled.
“…” Kaido hesitated, then ignored Rocks and turned to Ron.
“Hey, new guy, you ready?”
“Bring it on!” Ron immediately entered combat mode.
Meanwhile, the ship grew lively.
“Come on, come on, place your bets!
Odds are two-to-one for Kaido winning, three-to-one for the new guy!” John seized the opportunity to get busy, ready to make a fortune.
But things didn’t go as planned—no one paid John any attention.
“Who do you think will win?” Rocks appeared on the ship’s roof, sitting next to Whitebeard, and casually picked up a nearby bottle of fine wine, taking a few sips first.
“Don’t know.” Whitebeard shook his head, then stood up.
He didn’t want to guess either; it didn’t matter who won or lost.
“Wahahaha~” Rocks didn’t press further, his attention fixed on the bottle in his hand.
It looked familiar.
He looked up at Whitebeard, who was about to leave, and said, “Hey.
Newgate, you bastard, you’re not drinking the stuff I hid, are you?”
“Don’t know, I found it in the cabinet.” Whitebeard leaped down, landing on the ship’s deck.
“You’re such a jerk.” Rocks grumbled a couple of times.
