The mountain peak that had been severed by a single slash slid downward and collapsed, triggering a massive avalanche across the Underworld.

At the same time, a section of Loki’s reddish-purple braid fell to the ground.

That human had aimed for his head.Full novel: One Piece: The Thunder God of Elbaf — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

At the critical moment, Thor had yanked Loki aside.

Perhaps all those battles against Sea Kings under the crushing pressure of the deep sea had allowed Thor to awaken Observation Haki as well.

In that instant, he had sensed danger.

“Huff… huff…”

Loki sat on the ground, breathing heavily.

He had almost died.

It hadn’t been his imagination.

That suffocating sensation just now had been death brushing right past him.

Thor looked at Loki, then stepped in front of him, shielding his brother behind his body.

“You… want to die?”

The excitement Thor had felt moments earlier turned into icy killing intent.

The man before him was merely someone Thor had been interested in meeting.

But Loki was the brother he had grown up with.

Rocks had actually tried to kill him.

That had completely enraged Thor.

“Hey, hey, Captain! Wasn’t that a little much against a kid?”

Even the pirates who had arrived with Rocks felt that he had gone too far.

This was Elbaph.

If they killed a Giant child here, they would be in serious trouble.

“Hahahaha!”

Rocks simply laughed wildly, completely unconcerned.

“What are you afraid of? I’m certain Harald’s son wouldn’t die that easily!”

The moment Rocks saw Thor and Loki’s enormous bodies, far beyond those of ordinary Giants, along with the pitch-black horns growing from their foreheads, he had already guessed their identities.

Whenever Rocks happened to run into Harald at sea and drank with him, the king of Elbaph would constantly brag that his son had already surpassed him.

Rocks had only one reason for coming to Elbaph this time.

He wanted to see just how strong Harald’s son really was.

If the boy was truly as powerful as Harald claimed, Rocks intended to recruit him into his pirate crew.

“You bastard!”

Only now did Loki fully recover from the shock.

He felt deeply humiliated by his own reaction.

Since when had Loki ever embarrassed himself like that?

Just as he grabbed his hammer and prepared to teach this human a lesson, Thor raised his right hand in front of him.

“This man is mine. His companions are yours.”

“Fine. Same as always, then.”

Loki didn’t argue.

Thor and Loki were twins.

Their coordination surpassed anyone else’s.

It was just like hunting.

Thor handled the troublesome, dangerous prey.

Would Loki complain about that?

Of course not.

This was Elbaph, the land of Giants, where strength was worshiped above all else.

Loki slammed his hammer violently into the ground.

The next moment, the Mountain Lords he had tamed came charging out in answer to their boss’s summons.

“Boys—time to hunt!”

“Damn you, Rocks! This is all your fault!”

The pirates traveling with Rocks cursed furiously.

But Loki was already leading the beasts straight toward them, leaving them no choice but to hurriedly defend themselves.

No matter how loudly his companions cursed him, Rocks couldn’t be bothered to care.

He was interested only in the Giant child standing before him.

“Hohoho! Giant brat! What’s your name?”

“My name is Thor. Didn’t my father tell you?”

“When Harald was drinking, all he said was that his son possessed strength surpassing his own. Looks like he was talking about you.”

Rocks pointed his saber at Thor.

Despite the enormous difference in their sizes, Rocks’s presence was not overshadowed by Thor in the slightest.

“Come on, brat! Show me your strength!”

“Then you’d better be careful.”

Thor’s eyes turned cold.

“Don’t die.”

He had no intention of holding back.

The man before him was one of the strongest people at the very pinnacle of the One Piece world.

And after Rocks had shown no mercy toward Loki, Thor was now attacking with the genuine intention of killing him.

Thor raised the fifteen-meter warhammer Mjölnir effortlessly with one hand.

Armament Haki spread across it.

Thor’s right hand turned pitch-black.

The hammer bearing the name Mjölnir was coated and reinforced with Armament Haki, becoming as indestructible as the legendary weapon of the God of Thunder itself.

“Die, insect!”

With power that seemed capable of splitting heaven and earth apart, Thor brought the hammer down on Rocks with everything he had.

Rocks was capable of matching Harald in contests of strength.

Despite being human, he possessed physical power that did not lose out to an Ancient Giant.

At first, Rocks intended to block Thor’s hammer directly with his sword and personally experience the boy’s strength.

But in that instant— his Observation Haki screamed a warning.

Rocks’s previously grinning expression changed immediately.

At the very last possible moment, he dodged Thor’s hammer.

The weapon smashed into the ground of the Underworld.

For a moment, a genuine earthquake erupted.

The Giants living above on the Treasure Tree Adam, in both the Sun World and the Heaven World, could feel the violent shaking.

“What is Prince Thor doing this time?”

“Prince Thor isn’t going to uproot the Treasure Tree Adam one of these days, is he?” New chapters come out on g.com first.

The Giants of Elbaph discussed it among themselves.

But this was hardly the first or second time something like this had happened.

By now, they were more or less accustomed to it.

Back in the Underworld, the pirates fighting Loki and his massive beasts were sent staggering by the earthquake erupting right beside them.

“Edward, you bastard! Did you use the Tremor-Tremor Fruit?!”

“I didn’t!”

The young Whitebeard, wielding his long blade as he knocked back a Mountain Lord, looked completely baffled when Stussy yelled at him.

He hadn’t activated his ability at all.

“Wait! Look over there!”

Golden Lion Shiki pointed toward Rocks.

Across Elbaph’s Underworld, an enormous chasm had split open through the earth.

Seawater was pouring into it through the crack.

“That Giant kid did this?!”

Everyone was stunned.

Including Thor himself.

How the hell had he split the ground open?!

“Truce! Truce! Truce!”

Thor hurriedly shouted for everyone to stop.

He might have overdone it.

If he damaged the foundations of the Underworld, Elbaph itself could be in danger.

“Stop fighting! Give me a second.”

Thor tossed his hammer aside.

Then he crouched down and pressed himself against the ground.

Armament Haki spread outward, reinforcing a huge section of the earth.

Thor braced himself— and forced the two sides together.

BOOM!

The enormous chasm that his hammer had just torn open was forcibly closed again beneath Thor’s monstrous strength.

Only an almost invisible hairline crack remained.

“All right.”

Seeing that he had successfully pushed the ground back together, Thor finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Rocks, however, had started cursing.

“Harald, you bastard! When you said your son had surpassed you in strength, you meant literal physical strength?!”

The shockwave alone from Thor’s hammer striking the ground had left Rocks dizzy.

Now he was furiously cursing Harald for nearly getting him killed through misleading wording.

“All right!”

Thor picked Mjölnir back up.

“Let’s continue.”

He had just forced the split earth back together with his bare hands.

And now his attention returned to Rocks.

That bastard had dared to try killing Loki.

Thor absolutely had to teach him a brutal lesson.

This time, Rocks didn’t dare underestimate him in the slightest.
