Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Valhalla—the sacred battleground of the Giant warriors, which had been deserted for so long—once again regained its former glory.

Elder Jorul let out his peculiar laugh.

He had to admit that Thor was more suited to becoming king of Elbaph than his father.

Perhaps Harald’s direction wasn’t wrong, but he was still too young.

Elbaph could not abandon the traditions it had always taken pride in.

Overwhelming strength was the foundation that allowed this nation to endure.

“Bojajaja! Little Thor, don’t lose to your old man!”

Elder Jarul openly cheered Thor on.

Both legendary heroes of the Giant race had chosen to stand behind Thor, giving Harald an enormous headache.

Thor wasn’t simply going through a rebellious phase.

He represented another voice within Elbaph.

The powerful Giant warriors who still revered the old traditions had all chosen to support him.

“Hahahaha! Now this is Elbaph! If Harald joined forces with me, crushing the World Government and conquering the world would be nothing!”

Seeing so many Giant warriors gathered in Valhalla caused Rocks’s ambition to swell uncontrollably.

If Harald weren’t such an idiot, the two of them should have been ruling the world long ago.

“But Captain, can that Giant brat Thor really defeat Harald?”

Whitebeard wasn’t particularly optimistic about Thor’s duel with his father.

Battles weren’t decided by raw strength alone.

Harald was a powerhouse capable of fighting Rocks on equal terms.

That brat Thor might possess limitless potential, but he was still far too young.

Fifteen might be an age when a human child was already growing strong, but for a Giant, it was roughly equivalent to being five years old.

Thor’s body hadn’t even finished developing yet.

And he was about to duel someone like Harald.

“Who knows?”

Rocks didn’t particularly care about the outcome.

There was only one thing that mattered to him.

“That idiot Harald has a son even more ambitious than I am. Even if Thor loses this duel, sooner or later, the world will tremble beneath his feet.”

“You really think that highly of that Giant brat, Captain?”

Golden Lion Shiki looked surprised.

Hearing such praise from a ruthless monster like Rocks was genuinely rare.

“Hahaha! Of course! Harald is a man I acknowledge. Any brat who dares challenge him has one hell of a future ahead of him!”

Suddenly, a horn sounded.

The thunderous battle horn drowned out every other voice.

Rocks and his companions stopped talking.

Across the enormous arena of Valhalla, two gigantic gates slowly opened.

Harald stepped through one of them, wearing his helmet and carrying an enormous sword.

His expression was solemn.

The moment he entered Valhalla, he was no longer a father.

Nor was he the king of Elbaph.

He was a warrior.

Let battle do the talking.

Thor emerged through the opposite gate.

He too wore a warrior’s helmet, with Mjölnir gripped in his hands.

“Dad, don’t you dare hold back.”

“Of course not. Even if I have to break your legs, I won’t let you go out to sea and become a pirate.”

With that final heartwarming exchange between father and son, the sacred duel began under the joint witness of the Giant heroes Jarul and Jorul.

“WOOOO—!”

The battle horn sounded.

Thor attacked Harald immediately, showing his father no courtesy whatsoever.

The twenty-five-meter-tall Thor leaped high into the air, gripping his hammer in both hands before bringing it down on Harald with all his strength.

Thor had no idea whether Valhalla could withstand his full power.

Nor did he know whether the arena would survive the impact.

But he knew one thing.

If he didn’t go all out, Harald would beat him half to death.

CLANG!

The instant hammer and greatsword collided, an earth-shattering metallic crash erupted alongside a shockwave that swept through the entire arena.

“Whoa!”

Loki grabbed Hajrudin beside him.

Sitting near the front of the stands, Hajrudin had nearly been blown away by the gale.

“That’s ridiculous…”

Hajrudin stared in lingering shock.

Thor’s strength was terrifying.

But what was even more unbelievable— was Harald.

He hadn’t been injured in the slightest.

He hadn’t even moved.

Not only had Harald remained rooted in place, but the enormous sword in his hands hadn’t budged by so much as an inch.

“Is that all you’ve got, Thor?!”

His father’s angry roar rang out.

Harald punched him without the slightest mercy.

In that instant, Thor felt as though he had been struck by his own strength.

His entire body was sent flying in an instant.

BOOM!

Thor slammed into the edge of Valhalla, smashing an unimaginably huge crater into the arena wall built from the Treasure Tree Adam.

“Force dissipation! That’s an incredibly advanced form of force dissipation!!”

“Grandpa Jarul, what are you talking about?”

Hajrudin stared at him blankly.

He had no idea what Elder Jarul meant.

“Ahem…”

Jarul coughed to hide his embarrassment before explaining with a serious expression.

“It’s a technique that only the strongest Giant warriors can master. You contain tremendous force within your body, then release it all in a single instant.”

“Hakoku Sovereignty, Ikoku Sovereignty, and the Spear of Elbaph all operate on the same principle.”

“As expected of Harald, the strongest warrior in Elbaph.”

“If an ordinary Giant warrior tried to contain that much power before releasing it, their own body would collapse under the strain and be torn apart before they could even attack.” This chapter was taken from NovelPing without permission.

“I never expected Harald to withstand Thor’s strength, absorb that force, and then return it through his own fist.”

Hajrudin was dumbfounded by Jarul’s explanation.

Their father was actually that powerful?

Could Thor really lose to him?

“Cough… cough…”

Thor spat out a mouthful of blood.

As expected of a genuine powerhouse of the One Piece world.

He had underestimated his father.

More importantly— he had underestimated his own strength.

Thor climbed back to his feet and spat out the blood in his mouth.

Then he tossed Mjölnir aside.

It seemed brute force alone wouldn’t be enough to defeat Harald.

He would need to use some technique.

“Careful, Dad. If I break a few of your bones with this next move, don’t blame me.”

“Oh?”

Harald looked intrigued.

He wanted to see exactly what Thor intended to do.

Thor dropped onto all fours like a wild beast.

The moment Loki saw his posture, he immediately knew what Thor was planning.

That move, huh?

BOOM!

Thor exploded forward with both arms and legs at once.

Like a cannonball, he shot toward Harald at such incredible speed that almost no one could react in time.

Harald could.

Observation Haki.

As a powerhouse acknowledged by Rocks himself, how could Harald’s Observation Haki possibly be weak?

He perfectly predicted the exact instant Thor would crash into him.

Then came the loving fist of a father— straight down!

BAM!

Another enormous impact rang out.

Thor’s head slammed into the ground, smashing another massive crater into Valhalla’s arena.

Had Harald seen through Thor’s attack yet again?

No.

In the audience, Loki revealed an evil grin.

Their old man was still too naive.

He had fallen for it.

And what happened when Thor got close enough to grab you?

Naturally— a tornado tore through the parking lot!
