If the One Piece world had a reputation system, Charlotte Linlin’s standing with Elbaph would undoubtedly be firmly in the Hostile tier.

And that was only because Thor had stopped her from killing Elder Jorul.

If that legendary Giant hero had actually died at Linlin’s hands, her reputation would unquestionably have reached the Hatred tier.Full novel: One Piece: The Thunder God of Elbaf — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Even so, in the eyes of Elbaph’s Giants, Linlin was still practically synonymous with an evil god.

As for exactly what the Giant who had once gone to the House of Lambs to visit Mother Carmel and the children had witnessed…

That was a horrifying subject the Giants of Elbaph were unwilling to discuss.

In any case, because Charlotte Linlin was on Hachinosu, Thor made a request to Rocks that very day.

“Hachinosu is too small. It isn’t suitable for Giant warriors to live on. I need to find somewhere else to establish a base.”

“Oh? Do you have somewhere in mind?”

“Not yet.”

Thor shook his head, then looked up toward the sky.

He planned to visit the sky islands.

Not only was the Rumble-Rumble Fruit he wanted somewhere up there, but the sky islands themselves were also an excellent strategic location.

World Government agents would have a hard time discovering them, making them ideal for secretly developing his forces.

And even if the sea level rose in the future, the sky islands certainly wouldn’t be submerged.

Honestly, if Golden Lion Shiki hadn’t already eaten the Float-Float Fruit, Thor would have preferred that ability even more.

Shiki could literally pick up islands and use them as weapons.

If Thor were shameless enough, he could just move a few islands over Mary Geoise every now and then and drop them.

Then they could see how many Celestial Dragons survived.

With his objective decided, Thor planned to find a way to reach the sky islands after leaving Hachinosu.

“Oh, right!”

Rocks suddenly spoke.

“You weren’t joking about dueling Linlin, were you?”

“Of course not.

I’m going to have a completely fair and honorable contest with her—

“Arm wrestling!”

If warriors of Elbaph wanted to prove their strength, what better way than defeating their opponent at arm wrestling?

Rocks nearly choked when he heard Thor.

He had genuinely thought Thor intended to have an actual battle with Linlin.

Hachinosu wasn’t nearly large enough to withstand those two rampaging across it.

But if it was only arm wrestling, then there was no problem.

“Fine! If it’s arm wrestling, I’ll go tell Linlin. When the time comes, I’m betting everything on you. Don’t you dare lose to a woman, brat.”

“What the hell?! You think I’d lose to a woman?”

Thor immediately became furious.

Rocks’s words were practically an insult.

Thor wasn’t Brother Sun.

How could he possibly lose to a woman?

“Hahahaha! Then I’ll look forward to it.”

Rocks walked away laughing.

Thor raised a middle finger at his back.

What an idiot.

A heroic father somehow produced a useless son.

The next day, Hachinosu became extraordinarily lively.

The pirates began placing bets on who would win the arm-wrestling match.

Most of Hachinosu’s pirates bet on Charlotte Linlin.

Thor might be a Giant, but Giant strength meant very little in front of the terrifying Charlotte Linlin.

The pirates of Hachinosu had personally seen Linlin casually toss a Marine warship around like a toy before slicing it in half with a single strike.

Even ordinary Giants didn’t possess that kind of strength.

And Thor was still only a kid.

“Hahaha! I’m betting everything on that brat Thor!”

Rocks dumped an enormous pile of gold, silver, and treasure onto the betting table.

“Holy shit?!”

The lesser pirates immediately had a terrible feeling.

A villain like Rocks was actually betting on Thor?

Were they all about to lose everything they owned?

At the same time, the two stars of today’s event arrived.

One was Charlotte Linlin, the terrifying female pirate of Hachinosu.

Although she was currently young and beautiful, hardly anyone dared approach her.

This woman was simply too frightening.

The other was the newcomer who had arrived at Hachinosu only yesterday—

Thor, captain of the Viking Pirates.

Possessing Ancient Giant blood, he was only fifteen years old yet already taller than an ordinary adult Giant.

Standing before the twenty-five-meter-tall Thor, the eight-meter-tall Linlin looked more like the child.

Yet Linlin was delighted as she looked up at Thor, who towered several times over her.

She opened her arms and shouted,

“Thor! If I beat you at arm wrestling, become my husband!”

“What?! You evil god! Prince Thor is only fifteen years old!!”

The Giant warriors immediately flew into a rage and drew their weapons, looking ready to chop her apart.

For humans, fifteen was already close to adulthood.

But for Giants, fifteen years old was roughly equivalent to a human child of around five.

Charlotte Linlin truly was an evil demon!

“Are you some kind of pervert?”

Even Thor couldn’t help rolling his eyes.

Leaving aside the fact that he was a fifteen-year-old Giant whose body hadn’t remotely matured in that department yet— there was also the massive difference in their sizes.

Even Scopper Gaban had found himself a Giant wife.

Who had ever heard of a Giant taking a human wife?

She’d be too small even as a cup.

“It doesn’t matter! If it’s you, Thor, then the two of us could definitely have the strongest children in the world!”

“Dream on!”

Thor rejected her without hesitation.

He slammed Mjölnir into the ground, using the warhammer as the table for their arm-wrestling match.

Only something like this could withstand his strength. You are reading on g.com, the official source.

Then—

Armament Haki activated.

Thor’s right hand turned pitch-black.

The area covered by his Armament Haki continued expanding.

It spread across Mjölnir, reinforcing the entire hammer, before extending into the ground itself.

A vast section of Hachinosu was gradually dyed pitch-black.

One curious pirate crouched down and tapped the ground with his weapon.

Clang!

The surface rang like metal.

Another pirate swung his blade down with all his strength.

His sword shattered.

The ground didn’t even gain a scratch.

“I’ve wanted to say this for a while now, but that brat Thor has a ridiculous amount of Haki.”

Whitebeard held a cup of alcohol as he spoke to Rocks about Thor’s absurd display.

“Captain, can you do something like that?”

“Of course I can. Who the hell do you think I am?”

Rocks snorted.

“But there’s absolutely no reason to. Even Harald wouldn’t waste his strength doing something like this.”

As he spoke, Rocks looked toward Thor— the brat whose physical strength was astonishing even by Rocks’s standards.

“Thor is different. His strength is simply too great.”

“If he doesn’t protect the island by coating it with Haki, Hachinosu is probably no different from a cake to him.”

“One touch and it crumbles.”

Back in Elbaph, one of the stories Thor had heard most often was the legend of the demon Oars.

How exactly had that Ancient Giant managed to move entire islands and countries?

No matter how Thor thought about it, the feat seemed unbelievable.

Even a Giant more than sixty meters tall shouldn’t have been able to drag an entire island.

The problem wasn’t a lack of strength.

The island itself simply shouldn’t have been capable of enduring that kind of force.

It was like trying to grab only the layer of cream on top of a cake and lift the entire cake by it.

Completely impossible.

Then one day, Thor suddenly figured it out.

Haki!

Oars had used Haki!

Joy Boy’s Haki could remain preserved for eight hundred years.

That Haki, crossing eight full centuries, had instantly blasted back the Five Elders, forced them back into human form, and even frightened Lord Imu to tears.

Haki— surely it wasn’t such an inconvenient thing!

If Thor could eventually spread Armament Haki across an entire island…

then perhaps he too could recreate the legendary feat of Oars the Continent-Puller.
