Although Shanks and Kazi had fought a battle and held a banquet, he had gained a preliminary understanding of Kazi’s character.

However, Luffy was the future he had bet on, and he was not at ease leaving Kazi’s crew in Foosha Village.

Although the left arm of this bet of his had to be sacrificed; even without Luffy, he would have cut it off himself.Full novel: One Piece: Whitebeard’s Favorite Son — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

This was the price he paid for gathering intelligence; to escape Imu’s surveillance, his left arm could not be kept.

Originally, he had wanted to delay his departure, waiting for Kazi and his crew to leave before he departed himself.

Now that he knew Kazi was Whitebeard’s own son, combined with his own judgment of character, he had no more doubts.

This was an old tradition among pirates, just like how Roger did not entrust his son to his crew, but instead entrusted him to Garp.

When one firmly believes that the other party would not do such a thing, then one can truly be at ease.

Moreover, if Kazi really had ill intentions, he could pretend to leave and then return after Shanks and his crew were gone.

He had no way to stop that; he couldn’t stay in Foosha Village forever.

“Luffy, this time we are really setting sail.

We still have our own adventures to complete.”

On the morning of the third day after the banquet, Luffy was crying his heart out, clinging to Shanks’s leg.

Shanks could only stroke Luffy’s head, comforting him.

Seeing Luffy’s small body, wearing that iconic straw hat, Shanks’s eyes were filled with a look of determination.

“Shanks, wait for me.

Once I set sail, I will definitely come looking for you.”

“I…”

“I will definitely become the Pirate King!!”

Luffy roared out his dream, and no one present laughed at this seven-year-old child.

Having a dream is better than having none at all.

Furthermore, the Red Hair Pirates knew the importance of the Devil Fruit that Luffy had eaten; otherwise, they wouldn’t have attacked the World Government’s ship to seize it.

Kazi, on the other hand, knew some of the original plot and understood how monstrously strong Luffy would become.

With all sorts of comebacks and plot armor, every time after a fight, his combat power would inexplicably increase by a huge margin.

It was the standard protagonist template: he couldn’t be killed no matter how he was beaten, enemies never finished him off, and the protagonist would always inexplicably increase his combat power.

The Red Hair Pirates began their journey once again, heading straight for the Grand Line this time, moving towards their goal.

“Kazi, Shanks and the others have left.

Where are we going?”

Not knowing where to go, Kalmande naturally asked the Captain, since Kazi had come specifically for Shanks and his crew in the first place.

Now that they were gone, they weren’t particularly lacking in supplies, as all their food and drink were in Kazi’s Independent Space.

“Hahaha, since we’re already here, let’s take a look around.

At the very least, we haven’t tasted the local specialty liquor yet, and we have to stock up.”

That’s right, Kalmande wanted to draw nautical charts, while Kazi wanted to drink all the local specialty wines.

“Do you want to drink?

What was at the banquet was only a part of it; I have other kinds of wine in my tavern.”

Upon hearing Kazi’s words, Makino politely invited them to her tavern.

After all, the other party was powerful and very polite to them; they weren’t like other pirates who committed all kinds of evil, and they were quite easy to get along with.

“Oh?

Then I’ll trouble you to lead the way, Miss Makino.”

Kazi and Kalmande followed Makino to the tavern, and sure enough, there were several kinds of liquor that Kazi hadn’t tasted before, said to be specially brewed in the Goa Kingdom.

Kazi tasted them, and the flavor was quite good, so he ordered five hundred bottles of each, which startled Makino.

“I’m sorry, Mr.

Kazi, the tavern doesn’t have that much liquor right now.

If you have such a large demand, you can look for it in the town.”

Just like that, Kazi took a few empty bottles and brought Kalmande to the town, finding the largest tavern in the area.

“Boss, five hundred bottles of each of these kinds of liquor.”

Kazi placed the empty bottles on the table, and the boss’s eyes lit up.

This was a big client; the quantity was enough for an average medium-sized tavern to stock up on.

“Alright, sir, please wait a moment.”

A dozen or so young men moved the boxes out one by one, and it took twenty minutes to bring out all the liquor Kazi had ordered.

Kazi paid the bill readily, waved his hand, and all the liquor vanished into thin air.

“Ah, this…” The boss and the tavern staff were stunned; this method of making objects disappear out of thin air really startled them.

These hundreds of boxes of liquor were no small amount, and yet they vanished in the blink of an eye.

“Let’s go, Kalmande.

I’ll take you to a place where you can truly relax.”

“A place to truly relax?

Aren’t we relaxing right now?”

Kalmande was clueless, but he still followed behind Kazi.

Passing through the bustling commercial streets, behind them were many entertainment and service industry establishments.

Every town has such places.

After all, where there are poor people, there will be rich people; if they didn’t have these places for eating, drinking, and playing, how would they earn the rich people’s money?

Most importantly, how would those poor young ladies survive otherwise?

“Welcome!

Two distinguished guests, please come to the second floor.”

Kazi followed the leading beauty with familiarity.

Kalmande, however, was stiff in his movements; he never expected that the place Kazi had brought him to was actually this kind of establishment.

Did he like it?

In his heart, he definitely did.

But he had never had contact with girls before, and this place clearly wasn’t a respectable establishment, so he felt a bit intimidated.

“Hmm?

Hurry up, Kalmande, perk up, don’t lose face!”

Kazi turned back and found that Kalmande was almost frozen stiff, and he smiled.

He hadn’t expected Kalmande to still be an innocent young man.

After some encouragement from Kazi, Kalmande gritted his teeth and quickly followed Kazi’s pace.

“Sir, what package would you two like?”

Kazi took the price list and looked it over, saying, “Just this most expensive one, I’ll take two.

My brother here just needs one; find him a girl who is patient and can guide him.”

The waitress covered her mouth and chuckled twice, saying, “No problem, distinguished guest.”

After speaking, the waitress walked out.

“Kazi, is this really okay?”

Kalmande still couldn’t quite get over this mental hurdle, but the nervous yet itching feeling in his heart made him unable to bear giving up.

Kalmande’s teeth were even chattering as he spoke, and his mouth was dry.

Kazi directly patted Kalmande on the shoulder and laughed, “Hahaha, trust me, brother.”

“After a few times, you will grow to like this feeling.”

“Men, after all, how can you grow if you don’t experience the storms?”

“These beauties are all trials on your path of growth.

Only by hacking through the thorns and thistles all the way can you become a true warrior.”

Kalmande opened his mouth, but didn’t say a word, just nodded silently.

“Hmm, you are teachable.”

Kazi nodded in satisfaction.

Not long after, Kazi’s two beauties and a considerate big sister for Kalmande arrived on the second floor.

You have to say, because Kazi and his friend ordered the most expensive packages, the service staff sent up by the boss were all the ones with the best figures and the most beautiful looks in the shop.

Kalmande was pulled into another room, beginning his transformation of growth.
