Kaizer was conducting his daily Observation Haki training on the deck — blindfolded, perceiving everything around him.
Shadow and Phantom turned into black mist, weaving between the sails. He needed to judge their position and movement trajectory through soul fluctuations alone.
"Thirty degrees left, five meters up," Kaizer said softly.
Shadow appeared exactly at the predicted spot.
"Right side of the ship, stealth mode," Phantom merged into the shadows.
The training was going smoothly. Twenty days at sea had not been wasted. His mastery of soul perception grew more precise. He could now even "see" through three layers of deck to sense the mood of the cook working in the galley below — nervous, focused, with a hint of anticipation.
Suddenly, a powerful soul fluctuation surged from deep within the ship.
It wasn't ordinary emotion — it was the surging vitality of new life being born. Warm, pure, yet carrying Linlin's characteristic blazing, sun-like intensity.
Kaizer tore off the blindfold and rushed toward the cabin.
In Linlin's room, she sat on the oversized custom bed, both hands covering her belly, her expression… confused?
"Kaizer," she looked up at him as he burst in. "I think… I'm about to give birth."
"Now?!" Kaizer froze. "Weren't we still a month away?"
"Mamama! How should I know!" Linlin grinned, but fine beads of sweat covered her forehead. "This little guy is impatient to come out!"
The ship's doctor — an old physician Linlin had "invited" from a medical island — was frantically preparing tools. When he saw Kaizer, he looked as if he had seen a savior. "Lord Kaizer! Madam is giving birth! But… but the timing is wrong!"
"Wrong or not, she's giving birth!" Linlin roared. "Hurry up and get ready!"
The next half hour was something Kaizer would never forget.
Linlin's delivery… could hardly be called childbirth. It felt more like a tectonic event. Every roar she let out shook the entire ship. Every push made the wooden cabin walls creak. Twice Kaizer thought the ship was going to fall apart.
But the process was unexpectedly fast.
When the baby's first cry rang out, Kaizer barely had time to react.
"It's out! It's out!" The old doctor excitedly held up a… massive infant.
It really was huge. Nearly one meter long, with wet pink baby hair stuck to its scalp. Its eyes weren't open yet, but its cry was as loud as thunder.
Linlin looked down at her now-flat belly, then at the baby in the doctor's hands, and blinked.
"That's it?" she asked.
The old doctor: "…"
Kaizer: "…"
Linlin reached out and took the baby. The infant, which would require both arms for an ordinary person to hold, looked like a small toy in her hands. She poked its cheek. The baby cried even louder.
"Mamama! It's my child!" Linlin laughed so hard the cabin ceiling rained down dust. "Look! So strong!"
Kaizer walked over. Up close, the baby was truly… extraordinary. There was a faint metallic sheen under its skin, and its cry carried a sense of raw power. He cautiously used Soul Affinity to sense it —

Kaizer looked down at his own hand. He could feel that if he punched with full force right now, he could pierce straight through the ship.
"It might… be related to my ability," he said carefully. "When the child is born, my power also grows."
It was the truth, though he omitted the system part.
Linlin tilted her head, then grinned. "Mamama! Then let's have more children! A hundred! A thousand! Your power can keep growing!"
She lifted the baby. "Perospero! Look! You just got born and already made Daddy stronger! In the future, you have to become even stronger! Stronger than both Mommy and Daddy!"
The baby giggled and reached out with tiny hands to grab Linlin's hair.
Kaizer watched the scene, and something soft inside his heart was touched.
This was his son.
Charlotte Perospero. The eldest son of the Charlotte family who used candy powers in the original story — now his blood, inheriting his demi-human traits and Linlin's Steel Balloon constitution.
"What a little monster," Kaizer said softly. There was no mockery in his tone — only pride.
"Of course!" Linlin said proudly, holding the baby. "My child is naturally the strongest!"
She suddenly thought of something. "Oh right, the name! Perospero! Mamama! Sounds good, right?"
Kaizer nodded. Although he knew it was the name from the original story, hearing it from Linlin's mouth felt completely different.
"There will be many more little brothers and sisters in the future!" Linlin was already making plans. "Compote! Katakuri! Daifuku! Oven! Mamama! I'm going to give birth to an army!"
Kaizer chuckled. But in the system interface, the [Many Children, Many Blessings] mission was flashing.

Since he had already stepped onto this path, he would see it through to the end.

Kaizer spent the time adapting to his newly gained power.
With the Ox Talisman's boost, his base strength reached an unimaginable level. He could lift the ship's anchor with one hand and punch a half-meter-deep crater into the deck. But controlling the power required practice — once he tried to pat Linlin's shoulder and nearly knocked her into the sea.
The [Storage Space] was also very useful. After testing, Kaizer found that time inside the space was nearly frozen. He stored weapons, food, and even important documents inside, retrieving them as needed.
The only issue was capacity. Ten cubic meters sounded decent, but Linlin's dessert-making sessions alone consumed half a cubic meter of ingredients. Kaizer silently added "expand storage space" to his priority list.
On the twentieth day of the voyage, the coastline of Wano Country appeared on the horizon.
It was an island surrounded by steep cliffs. Waterfalls like white silk ribbons cascaded from a thousand meters high, forming rainbows in the sunlight. The legendary closed country where samurai and demons danced together.
"Mamama! We're here!" Linlin stood at the bow, holding Perospero in one arm and pointing at the cliffs with the other. "That bastard Kaido is up there, right?"
Kaizer stood beside her and activated soul perception.
Above the cliffs, countless soul orbs were flickering. Some were powerful and blazing, others weak and fearful. Among them, two sun-like existences were clashing violently.
One was brutal and irritable, carrying the majesty of a dragon — Kaido. The other was burning and resolute, carrying the pride of a samurai — Kozuki Oden.
"The battle has already started," Kaizer said gravely.
"Then what are we waiting for!" Linlin looked eager to fight.
But Kaizer stopped her.
"The child." He looked at Perospero. The baby was sleeping peacefully in Linlin's arms, completely unaware that his parents were about to head into battle.
Linlin paused. She looked down at the child, and a rare trace of hesitation appeared on her face.
She could ignore her own safety, but the child…
"Leave people on the ship," Kaizer decided. "Have the doctor and half the guards stay to take care of Perospero. We go up, finish this quickly, and return as soon as possible."
Linlin stared at him for a few seconds, then nodded. "Mamama! Whatever you say!"
She turned and roared at maximum volume: "Everyone listen up! I'm going with Kaizer to fight! You stay on the ship and protect my child! If Perospero loses even a single hair, I'll rip out all your souls and turn them into mops!"
The crew nodded frantically in terror.
Linlin nodded in satisfaction, then carefully handed Perospero to the old ship doctor — her movements surprisingly gentle.
Then she bent down and lifted Kaizer with her massive hand.
"Hold on tight," she said.
Kaizer wrapped his arms around her neck.
Linlin bent her knees slightly. Soul-Soul Fruit power gathered beneath her feet. Zeus flew out from her sack and turned into a thundercloud beneath her.
"Mamama! Let's go—!"
She leaped upward, carrying Kaizer straight toward the thousand-meter cliffs.
Wind howled past their ears. Kaizer looked down at the rapidly shrinking ship and the tiny pink-haired baby on board.
Perospero.
His first child.
He took a deep breath and clenched his fist.
The Ox Talisman's power surged through his blood. Armament Haki covered his body. Soul perception was fully activated.
For his family.
For this newly born life.
He had to win this battle.
Above the cliffs, at the shogun's residence.
Kaido in Azure Dragon form circled in the sky, his roar shaking the heavens. Below, Kozuki Oden wielded two swords, covered in blood, but his eyes remained as sharp as blades.
Kurozumi Orochi hid behind ruined buildings, his face twisted with a mix of madness and fear.
"Kaido! Give Wano back to me!" Oden roared, slashing out massive flying cuts with his dual blades.
Kaido spewed blazing dragon breath. Flames collided with the slashes, exploding into sparks across the sky.
Just as the two clashed again —
"Mamama—!!!"
A pink figure shot down from the sky like a cannonball, slamming heavily between them. The shockwave overturned surrounding debris and sent dust flying.
When the dust settled.
Charlotte Linlin stood with one hand on her hip and the other holding Kaizer, laughing wildly.
"Kaido! I've come to help you fight!"
Kaido transformed back to human form, shouldering Hassaikai. His crimson eyes fixed on Linlin — lingering especially on her now-flat abdomen.
"Gave birth?" he asked.
"Mamama! Yes! It's a son!" Linlin said proudly. "His name is Perospero! In the future he'll be stronger than you!"
Kaido snorted, then turned his gaze to Kaizer. "You really came."
"I keep my promises," Kaizer jumped down from Linlin's hand. The stone slabs cracked beneath his feet when he landed — he still wasn't fully used to the Ox Talisman's power.
Oden frowned. He recognized Linlin — a cadre of the Rocks Pirates and Soul-Soul Fruit user. But the man beside her… he had never seen before.
"Charlotte Linlin," Oden said gravely. "This is Wano's internal affair. It has nothing to do with you."
"Mamama! It does now!" Linlin grinned. "Kaido owes me a favor, and I owe him help! It's that simple!"
She turned and pointed a massive finger at Orochi hiding in the ruins. "And you! Kurozumi Orochi! I heard you want to kill everyone in Wano?"
Orochi shivered. "I-I was just—"
"I don't care what you were just doing!" Linlin cut him off. "But remember this — from now on, thirty percent of Wano's Seastone mines belong to me! If you dare play any tricks, I'll turn you into a Homie and hang you from the rafters!"
Orochi's face turned deathly pale.
Kaido grinned. "Still as domineering as ever."
"Enough talk!" Linlin cracked her knuckles. "If we're fighting, let's fight! I still need to go home and feed my baby!"
Kaizer stepped to Linlin's side, soul perception fully active. Oden's soul burned like the sun. Kaido's was violent like a volcano. Orochi's was mad like a venomous snake… And deep within the shogun's residence, there was one small, trembling soul.
He "looked" over.
Through the broken walls, he saw a little girl with green hair peeking through a crack, watching the battle outside. Her eyes were filled with fear, but deep down there was still a spark of… hope.
Kozuki Hiyori.
Kaizer withdrew his perception and looked at Oden.
This man who would one day boil himself to death was currently fighting desperately for his country.
"Linlin," Kaizer said quietly. "Let's finish this quickly. The child is waiting for us."
"Mamama! Got it!"
Linlin extended her hand. Purple light from the Soul-Soul Fruit surged from her palm. Prometheus and Zeus both expanded, flames and lightning intertwining.
Kaido raised Hassaikai. Conqueror's Haki spread like a tangible force.
Oden took a deep breath, crossing his dual blades in front of his chest, eyes resolute.
Orochi collapsed to the ground, muttering, "It's over… it's all over…"
Kaizer clenched his fist. The Ox Talisman's power surged through his veins.
The battle was about to erupt.
On the ship below the cliffs, Perospero suddenly burst into loud crying.
The old ship doctor frantically tried to soothe him, but the baby's cries grew louder, as if sensing something.
Above the cliffs, Linlin's movements paused.
She "heard" it.
Even across a thousand meters, even with the roar of waterfalls and the thunder of battle, she still heard it.
It was her child crying.
"Mamama…" Linlin's smile turned ferocious. "Did you hear that? My son is urging me to finish this fight and go home!"
She spread her arms. Soul-Soul Fruit power fully erupted.
"So —"
"Ten minutes! I'll finish all of you in ten minutes!"
