“Boss Rocks!

You actually broke through?”

Those guys outside had some strange abilities, but there’s nothing in this world that can stop us!”

“Whoa!

That’s Shiki!

And Newgate!

So this is the strongest pirate crew in the world?!”

“Enough crap!

Where’s the thing we came for?”

“Inside…”

BOOM!

The wall of a building exploded inward as Rocks and his crew barged through.

Their gazes swept across the room before converging on the same spot.

The place was a wreck, as though it had just been looted.

Several large chests lay overturned, their interiors completely empty.

Everyone’s eyes settled on a single figure.

More precisely, on a child standing with his back to them.

At the noise, the boy slowly turned his head.

His bright eyes were a clear azure blue, and his expression remained utterly calm as he regarded the intruders without the slightest trace of emotion.

“A kid?” Newgate frowned.

“Huh?

Where the hell is the Devil Fruit I came for?!” Shiki roared.

“Don’t tell me this brat ate it?” Charlotte Linlin looked the child up and down.

“Want me to get rid of him?” Kaido rumbled.

Rocks said nothing.

His thoughts went back to the report he had received earlier.

This was Hachinosu—Pirate Island.

His territory.

Not long ago, he’d been informed that several pirate crews had started fighting in an obscure corner on the southeastern side of the island, apparently over a Devil Fruit.

At first, he hadn’t cared.

This was a pirate paradise.

Crews arrived every day, and crews were wiped out or swallowed up every day.

There was nothing unusual about that.

But the report claimed the Devil Fruit could alter people’s minds and grant power to large numbers of people.

That had caught his interest, so he’d brought his crew over to take a look.

Rocks had no intention of eating such a fruit himself.

He had his own ambitions.

Still, once he got his hands on it, if someone in his crew wanted it, he wouldn’t mind giving it away.

And if nobody did, he could always sell it.

Was there anything on these seas more valuable than a Devil Fruit?

When the Rocks Pirates reached the scene, they indeed found something strange.

It wasn’t a chaotic free-for-all between multiple pirate crews.

There were two distinct sides fighting each other—pirates against pirates.

But one side was using an unusual kind of power.

Not Haki.

Not swordsmanship.

Archery.

Bows and arrows, of all things.

Hardly anyone even used them.

If you were going to fight, why not use a sword?

Had Haki suddenly stopped working?

Hell, even a gun made more sense.

What kind of idiot brought a bow to a pirate battle?

Even though those arrows struck with force comparable to cannon fire, Rocks’ crew had crushed them with ease.

Rocks himself hadn’t even needed to lift a finger.

Afterward, the man who had reported the incident led them here, only for them to find…

a single child.

“What the hell happened here?

If it was just a bunch of pirates fighting, there was no reason to call us over!” Ochoku grabbed the informant by the collar.

“I-I don’t know either!” The man looked ready to wet himself.

“The Hyena Pirates suddenly went crazy and started attacking everyone else…”

Ochoku couldn’t be bothered listening any longer.

He casually hurled the man away.

The unfortunate pirate slammed into a wall, rolled his eyes back, and passed out.

“So this was a waste of time,” Kyo said coldly.

“What a pain!

Don’t drag all of us over for something this stupid!” Gloriosa shouted.

The long snake coiled around her shoulders flicked its tongue with a hiss.

“So…

can I blow the kid up?” Ganzui rubbed vigorously at his body, rolling grime between his fingers until it formed a tiny dirt pellet.

“Boring.

I’m going back to drink with Shakky.” Marlon, a cigar clenched between his teeth, turned to leave.

“Wait.”

Rocks’ voice stopped everyone cold.

Marlon froze mid-step.

Ganzui stopped with his arm already raised.

The others turned back as well.

Rocks stared at the child.

The boy continued to look at him in silence.

No fear.

No panic.

No emotion at all, even while surrounded by some of the most vicious monsters on the sea.

Rocks had a wife, though none of his crewmates knew it.

After his son was born, he’d worried that his actions might bring danger to his family, so he sent his wife and child back to his homeland.

He wondered what kind of man Rocks D.

Xebec’s son would become one day.

Even a man like Rocks couldn’t help showing a faintly unusual expression at the thought.

“Kid, I like those eyes of yours.” Rocks drove his sword into the floor and laughed.

“Tell me your name!”

Several members of the crew looked surprised.

Was that brat even ten years old?

And yet Rocks thought he was worth addressing like this?

“Hua Ye,” the boy replied softly.

* * *

Hua Ye was a transmigrator.

He had imagined countless times what it would be like to cross into another world, but he’d never expected it to happen simply because he went to sleep.

There had been no grand process.

No divine encounter.

Nothing dramatic at all.

It was so ordinary that he’d almost thought he was dreaming.

The power he’d obtained, however, was very real.

Before all this, he’d been staying up late watching people argue online.

Ever since Imu, the apparent final boss of One Piece, had properly appeared, fans of the old Big Three—Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece—had found a brand-new topic to fight over.

Which series had the strongest final boss?

Hua Ye’s answer was Yhwach from Bleach.

Sure, the guy ultimately got cut down by what people jokingly called a glorified kitchen knife, but The Almighty was still absurdly powerful.

Hua Ye had been scrolling through comments while growing sleepier and sleepier until, for no particular reason, he’d fallen asleep face-first on his keyboard.

Then he’d opened his eyes…

And transmigrated.

Not only had he arrived in another world, his body had regressed to childhood, and he’d discovered that he possessed an ability.

A template of Yhwach—the King of the Quincy!

So because he’d been praising Yhwach, he got Yhwach’s abilities?

What would’ve happened if he’d spent the night praising Super Saiyans instead?

Not that there was any point wondering about it now.

He was already here.

In simple terms, Yhwach’s innate ability revolved around distributing and reclaiming pieces of his soul.

Through physical contact, he could give a fragment of his soul to another person, filling gaps within their own soul and gradually healing defects in their body or mind.

A person with diseased lungs could recover.

Someone consumed by loneliness could find the emptiness in their heart filled.

A coward could become overflowing with courage.

Even someone missing a leg could eventually regrow the lost limb.

And while that person’s mind and body recovered, everything they learned—the knowledge they acquired, the experience earned through effort, the abilities they developed, and the talents they brought to fruition—would all be engraved onto the fragment of Hua Ye’s soul inside them.

When that person eventually died, the soul fragment would return to its source.

Everything recorded within it would return as well.

Yhwach’s true power, The Almighty—the ability to see the future—was still beyond Hua Ye’s reach for now.

Even so, he possessed Yhwach’s passive abilities, the basic techniques of the Quincy, and the power to distribute his own soul.

“Auswählen.”

Hua Ye took a step forward.

Then another.

His pace was calm and steady, yet every footfall seemed to land directly on the hearts of the pirates watching him.

As he walked, his body rapidly matured.

The child who had looked younger than ten grew before their eyes until he had the appearance of a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old youth.

Hua Ye clenched his fist.

He could feel the power he had distributed being reclaimed and pouring back into his body.

Its source was obvious.

The pirate crews he had encountered after arriving in this world.

He had shared his power with them, and their sudden increase in strength had ultimately sparked the battle outside.

Some had died during the fighting.

Those who survived had just lost their lives as well—taken from them in a single instant.

Auswählen was the ability to reclaim what he had distributed.

Like a loan shark collecting a debt, Hua Ye could take back the principal…

along with all the interest it had accrued.

Silence filled the ruined building.

Everyone stared wide-eyed at the impossible sight before them.

A small child had turned into a young man in the blink of an eye.

Then Rocks suddenly burst into laughter and held out a hand to Hua Ye.

“Join us, you strange bastard!”
