Chapter 13: Take This, Atlas.

Online Game: I Can Evolve My Summons Endlessly

Right away, a new panel was generated, but this time the characters were shining with a blue color, which made Emil raise his eyebrow because usually the characters are written in purple.

The first few entries regarding ’Dungeon’ were normal, but the revelation of the title and permanent stats increase left Emil completely astonished. His brain stopped functioning until he regained control over his body.

"Wha-what the hell, mate?!"

"Yeah, I cleared the dungeon in 3 minutes... and took first place in the leaderboard, but this?! This literally is an ’epic’ title!!" His jaw dropped an inch before he continued. "And +3 stat boost in all categories?! That’s a cheat... a fucking literal cheat!!"

But another thought appeared inside his mind, which was completely unrelated to this. ’Then it means other people would have better titles and better stats and buffs.’

He kept staring at the panel for a couple more minutes but then shook his head. Pulling himself away from his absurd imagination. ’Let them be; my target isn’t the top rank in this world... I just want to make a living so I can clear the debt that this guy left for me.’

A sigh of relief left his mouth; he still was feeling grateful towards the title and rewards until a new panel flickered in front of him.

He hadn’t even recovered from the shock of earning the title when another wave of disbelief crashed over him.

The level-ups he had received moments ago had already seemed absurd, enough to overturn everything. But this... This was on an entirely different level.

His pupils shrank before his eyes widened to their absolute limit, looking as though they might burst from their sockets at any second. His heart started pounding vigorously against his chest while a strange mix of emotion.

Every instinct screamed that what he was seeing couldn’t possibly be real, yet the glowing blue notifications hanging before him refused to disappear.

His breathing grew uneven.

"No... there’s no way..." He stared at the screen for another second before all restraint shattered.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

His shout echoed through the surroundings with enough force to make even Atlas pause. The colossal giant slowly tilted his head, staring at Emil with visible confusion, unable to understand what had provoked such an explosive reaction from his master.

Emil’s attention remained fixed on the system. "I leveled up eleven times in a single dungeon? Isn’t this some kind of cheat?! Like, what the fuck, man..."

But then a strange realization crossed his mind. ’Wait... The EXP usually gets divided among players who are raiding the dungeon in a party, so that means I leveled up multiple times more than those kinds of players.’

And because of that thought, a warm yet excited smile appeared on his face. He clenched his fists in pure excitement; his gaze travelled towards the bottom-right corner of the panel. He noticed that there was a pop-up reflecting

His gaze swept across the area; battle spoils were scattered over the place. Some were goblin teeth; the other side inside the jungle was filled with goblin skin and scraps of their wooden bows. Bodies of the goblins remained on the ground, lifeless, and because of this, Emil remembered that he had to collect the spoils.

Emil glanced at Atlas before gesturing toward the scattered spoils. "Can you collect all of them for me?" he asked.

There wasn’t a trace of authority in his tone. Rather than treating Atlas like a mere summon, he spoke to him with genuine respect. Atlas gave a polite nod before walking over to the spoils and quietly began gathering them one by one.

While Atlas remained busy with the spoils, Emil looked towards a glowing sphere of mana, which was radiating green mana waves in the form of strands. A text was floating on top of it stating "Dungeon Core."

A bunch of ideas popped into his mind: what if he sold this core? The money he would make would be enough to purchase equipment of good rarity. He leaned over and picked the dungeon core, thinking about what he should do; the ideas that he was getting were way too tempting, but he didn’t think about putting it inside his inventory.

Rather, he chose to walk towards Atlas; his steps were steady but were enough to make Atlas shift his attention towards him. Emil stopped a foot away from him and directed his hand forward. "Take this, Atlas."

"I want you to grow stronger; you’re my summon, and making you grow is my responsibility." He said, and honesty was reflected through his eyes.

Atlas, who was leaning over, finally straightened his back, taking the core from Emil’s grip. In a flash, its immense mana dissolved into him, vanishing as though consumed.

The surge hit Emil instantly. His muscles swelled and tightened, veins humming as if alive. His bones felt denser, his tendons more stretched, and his frame became relatively stronger. Atlas’s power climbed from 4.0 to a staggering 4.3 in just a few hours since being summoned.

The growth on his body made him raise a brow, leaving him looking visibly confused. He looked at his palms, then clenched them into a fist. He repeated the motion again and again until he became sure that he had gotten stronger than before.

’How did this happen?!’ He questioned inwardly. ’Is it something related to Atlas getting stronger?’

He closed his eyes and muttered. "I’ll have to ask that woman; I need some answers related to this."
