Jiang Wangzhi did not answer him.
She was leaning against a tree trunk, looking at her wrist with a look of utter despair.
The terminal screen was lit up.
The data on it was beating frantically.
【Tactical command successful: +15】
【Weakness insight determination: +10】
【Effective team contribution: +20】
【Current total points: 53】
【Real-time ranking: 412th place】
Jiang Wangzhi's vision went dark.
She almost passed out right then and there.
412th place!
From nearly 3,000th place, she had skyrocketed all the way to the upper-middle tier!
Why did she have to run her mouth just now?
Why did she have to save someone?!
Wouldn't it have been better to let that pig crash them away?!
Tang Li walked over and glanced at Jiang Wangzhi's screen.
She raised an eyebrow.
"It went up by this much?"
"Didn't you say you didn't want to get points?"
Jiang Wangzhi's eyes turned red.
She gritted her teeth as she stared at Tang Li and Zhou Ye.
These two humanoid point-farming machines.
One was a damage output maniac, and the other was a damage-absorbing maniac.
As long as she stayed with them, even if she didn't speak, as long as she understood the situation, the system's judgment mechanism would crazily add points to her.
"Don't come over."
Jiang Wangzhi pointed at the approaching Zhou Ye, her voice trembling.
Zhou Ye scratched the back of his head with an honest expression:
"Don't be like that, Commander Jiang."
"If it weren't for you just now, both of us would have gotten hurt."
"You guys must be here to take the test too, right? Why don't we team up?"
"I don't have any other skills, but I'm tough-lived and can take a beating!"
"From now on, wherever you point, I'll fight!"
Jiang Wangzhi took a deep breath.
She was just about to sternly refuse.
Tang Li suddenly spoke up:
"I agree."
Jiang Wangzhi abruptly turned her head to look at her: "Are you crazy? He almost got you killed just now!"
"But his damage-absorption is really steady."
"The monsters in this area are getting stronger and stronger."
"My stamina had already bottomed out just now. If he's up front taking the hits, I can deal at least three times more damage."
Tang Li pointed at Zhou Ye.
Then she pointed at Jiang Wangzhi.
"One tanks."
"One fights."
"One watches."
"A perfect match."
After hearing this, Zhou Ye nodded his head like pounding garlic.
"Right, right, right! A perfect match!"
"Don't worry, Commander Jiang, all the points belong to you guys. I just need to be able to stay!"
Jiang Wangzhi looked at these two singing in unison.
She was completely in despair.
Perfect match my ass!
What she wanted was last place! Last place! Last place!
Not some damn military academy league championship combination!
Just as she wanted to forcefully disband the team.
The terminal on her wrist suddenly vibrated.
Immediately afterwards, a harsh system broadcast sounded across the entire Desolate Star once again.
【Attention all new students!】
【The first-stage free survival test has ended early.】
【The leaderboard has been temporarily locked.】
【All surviving students, please immediately proceed to the nearest temporary assembly point.】
A commotion came from the surrounding woods.
Obviously, they weren't the only three new students who heard the broadcast.
The three of them looked at each other.
"Let's go to the assembly point first." Jiang Wangzhi put away her expression and said coldly.
Half an hour later.
The three of them passed through the forest and came to an abandoned military base.
This was the B-09 temporary assembly point.
Hundreds of new students were already lying haphazardly across the plaza.
Some were injured.
Some were covered in blood.
Everyone was seizing the time to rest.
Jiang Wangzhi and the other two found a corner to sit down.
Just as they sat steady.
The holographic projection screen in the center of the plaza instantly lit up.
A red glow enveloped everyone.
The cold mechanical voice sounded again, announcing the assessment rules for the next stage.
【Stage Two: Team Confrontation.】
【Rule updates are as follows:】
【1. From now on, all new students must form a full five-person squad to continue participating in the assessment.】
【3. After 30 minutes, students who fail to successfully form a five-person squad, regardless of their current points, will be directly judged as cleared, forming a single-person squad!】
【4. Squad points will implement a bound-sharing mechanism. The personal points of the five members will be totaled and averaged to obtain the "Squad Comprehensive Points", and the final ranking will be based on the comprehensive points.】
As soon as the broadcast came out.
Wails and curses instantly filled the plaza.
"Damn! Mandatory five-person team?"
"Points bound? If we team up with some trash, won't we be dragged to death?!"
"Looking for powerful teammates! We are missing a mecha mechanic!"
"Those with physical fitness of Grade A or above, come over!"
Amidst the chaos.
Tang Li and Zhou Ye turned their heads at the same time and looked at Jiang Wangzhi.
Tang Li frowned: "Mandatory five people. We only have three right now, and we're missing two."
Zhou Ye patted his chest in assurance: "Don't worry, Commander Jiang, I'll go pick the two strongest fighters! I guarantee they won't hold us back!"
Jiang Wangzhi didn't speak.
She stared dead at the third item on the holographic screen.
【After 30 minutes, students who fail to successfully form a five-person squad, regardless of their current points, will be directly judged as cleared, forming a single-person squad!】
"Damn, doesn't that mean if I don't team up, I'll have to stay alone until the end of the match? With my physique, wouldn't I be screwed if I ran into a Star Beast?"
Jiang Wangzhi shuddered at the thought. It seemed she still had to team up, but...
She looked at the fourth rule again.
【Squad points bound-sharing mechanism.】
【The final ranking will be based on the team's total points.】
Her eyes lit up little by little.
Shared points?
In other words.
If she found two super trash who didn't earn a single point.
The five people would split the points evenly.
Her ranking could be instantly dragged down!
Moreover, if these two pieces of trash not only didn't score points, but also crazily fed kills and deducted points.
Then their entire squad could steadily secure last place!
And be eliminated!
Jiang Wangzhi abruptly stood up.
Her eyes burned with unprecedented fighting spirit.
"Let's go."
Tang Li was stunned: "Where to?"
"To find teammates."
Jiang Wangzhi's gaze swept over the poor wretches in the plaza who were despised for their poor strength and cowering alone in the corners.
A confident smile curled up at the corner of her mouth.
"Find the two most useless people in the whole school."

Zhou Ye: "?"
