[A Few Hours Later]
Caleb caught the Palsphere that fell into his hand, lighting up brightly and letting out the signature chime.
[Lamball Captured]
He saw the brief message from his System, which disappeared after a few more seconds.
"Alright..." He said as he looked around, "That makes 3 of these....."
He had spent a few hours lumbering for wood, mining stone, and crafting his tools and weapons which he had unlocked nearly right away. After mining paldium, he was able to craft some Palspheres which he used almost immediately, capturing a few Pals. He spent a lot of time doing this.
He captured 3 Cattivas, 3 Chikipis, and 3 Lamballs.
He figured that it would be a good idea to keep them in his base, which he hasn't set up yet. He had 9 Pals already, which is something that he had calculated for already.
"With 9, I can split them up and keep some of them at the base." He said as he sat down in a rock, taking a quick break, "Then, I can unlock the full Breeding System. Geez, I wonder how that would go....."
He let out a sigh, looking to the side and seeing a large grassy mammoth creature in the distance. He looked at it and frowned, unable to stop thinking about the fact that he had to have sex with Pals.
"Tch....!" He said, "As if I can ever try to fuck a Mammoth....."
He looked away, trying to get the thought of the Mammorest out of his head.
He then stood back up, looking at his stone spear, which was resting next to him. He leaned down and grabbed it, rubbing his neck as he let out an exhale.
"Okay...." He said, "With the Lamballs, I can get some wool, which will get me some cloth to make that cloth outfit. I got the axe, pickaxe, spear, and will unlock the bow soon. With that, I have a proper start for this adventuring jist. I need to look for a proper location for a base. One with good natural resources and natural defenses...When I started the game, there was one that was quite far.....But I liked it. It had nearby spots that I could make into secondary bases.....not only that, it is near a specific Pal that I want..."
He sighed and looked towards where the Mammorest was walking about. He had a proper spot in mind for where he wanted to set up his base, but he knew that the way over there would be quite difficult.
"Well...." He said, "I can get me some pals on the way....."
"Fuck it, let's go."

[Hours Later]
Caleb sat on the rock next to the Ore Deposit, seeing that down the hill he walked up, the Fast Travel Station was glowing. He was panting heavily, sweat rolling down his cheek as he looked around, seeing some trees on the border of the sizeable and flat area he had reached.
"Okay...." He said, "That took a bit longer than I would've liked....."
On the way towards the Wispering Winds Cliffs, Caleb was able to capture 2 Pengullets, a Lifmunk, and a Foxspark. He had barely enough Palspheres to do this and during his journey, he was attacked by several wild Pals, which he had to avoid since they were too high level for him to deal with.
But now, he was in his desired location.
He stood up and let out an exhale, "Okay...." He said, walking to the edge of the cliff, "This is the spot. A bit small compared to that lower area...."
He looked down at the flat area below the cliffs, which seemed to be perfect for a much larger base. But he chose this one first because if there were wild pals that would attack, they had to run up the hill. If he was able to produce enough wood, he would be able to build the defensive wooden walls all around the area, making a singular chokepoint that he would be able to control.
"This..." He said as he turned around, "Very well....."
It was at that moment that everything began to hit him at once. He couldn't process the fact that he was in the world of Palworld, given a System. Almost right after, he had to take the initiative and begin his journey.
It was difficult to focus on the fact that he was no longer in his world.
But even now, he couldn't focus much on that.
He knew what he had to do.
He exhaled once again, "Very well...." He repeated, "Let's begin..."

After placing the Pal Station, leveling it up enough to station 3 pals in the Base, Caleb sat down next to a Campfire he had set up towards the side. He was cooking up some of the eggs he had found on his way over here, laid by the wild Chikipis.
He had a Cattiva, a Pengullet, and a Lifmunk station on the base. They had already begun their tasks; the Cattiva was mining some of the stone, the Pengullet was watering the berry farm that was placed, and the Lifmunk was cutting down some of the trees that were in the area, collecting wood.
He had his adventurer party somewhat ready, with the Foxspark acting as his primary combat option. The Chikipi and Lamball were his spare members, but it was enough to satisfy the Task.
Caleb finished cooking the egg when the System Screen appeared before him:
