(Caleb's POV)
"There you go." I said as I looked down from the cliff, "That seems more like it."
I was outside the base, at the edge of the cliff I had set it up on. Down below, in a large open space, I had another base set up.
Wooden walls were erected and lined up, forming a massive irregular circle. It didn't matter if it was perfect or not, it needed to be done.
I set up several stone, coal, iron, and wood stations. And without wasting any more time, I had put several Enhanced Mining Pals that I had recently started.
Incineram, Tombats, and some other Transportation Pals were working overtime down there. I saw as they were at their station, swinging their pickaxes. I had stockpiled a good amount of food to leave in their food boxes. Their beds were lined up on wooden platforms by the far edge of the base.
It was a simple yet effective setup, considering I have more than 500 of each resource by now. The Enhanced Incinerams were doing their job quite well. I figure that if I leave them there for a couple of days, they will supply thousands of each resource. There were enough chests there, so I was sure that the storage wouldn't be a problem.
I looked behind me, seeing the first base I had set up, "Hm..." I said as I saw Demeter working the farm, "This place is too small. I have to look for other locations and set bases up there. This mining base is a good enough spot; I don't mind."
I had a spot in mind for my Farming Base, where I'll leave my Enhanced Lyleens to work. The Isle of Silence has a nice spot right next to the beach, overlooking the sea. It had quite the view, and it was rather secluded, with not many pals that could wander and threaten them.
Isle of Decayed Treasures is also a nice spot. I could build a base at the top and maybe get the expanded Palbox Radius and build over the island too. Maybe I can work something out with that. But I don't know what I could have here, maybe turn it into my main base, have my Breeding Room there.
I placed my hand on my chin, "No, I want Sakurajima for that." I said, "I'll probably build a Manse there. But at my current level, it could be quite the pain in the ass. We'll have to see. I have to build myself an army of strong Pals so I can take and comfortably take on anyone in my path."
Now that I think about it, I didn't explore much of this starting area. The Mammorest at the very start is still there, maybe I can go and get it. That sounds like a good idea, it's an Alpha Pal and I can progress my Tasks.
Not only that, there are other Pals in the surrounding area that I can go and get. For the time being, I need to make sure my two bases can be left alone for some time while I explore. The right move is explore around, maybe hit some dungeons and find more Pals to add to the Breeding List.
"Hm....." I said, "Mammorest....what other Pal should I add....?"
It's not an Alpha Pal, but near the Chillet fight, there is the Cow Pal. It was called Mozzarina.
If I capture it and breed it in its Anthro form, I can get Enhanced Mozzarinas who can provide a lot of Milk. Yes, that is good. That is definitely a Pal I need to go and capture. I don't need to breed it yet, but having it in the Palbox wouldn't hurt.

I need the ingredients to make Cakes too, in order to use the Breeding Farm.
The Breeding Room has me do the breeding, gaining Enhanced versions of said pals. The Breeding Farms can produce different Pals from two different Pals. If I breed two different Enhanced Pals, what sort of Pal can I get?
It is quite interesting.
I can breed my way to get a powerful early Pal and maybe unlock a Task to get its gear. If I can get a nice Mount and the Task for its saddle, that would be awesome.
Eidrolon and maybe Eidrolon Ignis???
"Hm....." I said, "But to get the Breeding Farm, I still have to beat the Lyleen Tower, no?"
Now that I think about it, I haven't even gone for the Rayne Syndicate Tower, huh?
The Task requires me to do so.
Well, that's the next move. I have the Mining Base set up already, so I can go and do some stuff outside.
After I do that, I will build the Farming Base.
After that, I go for the Lyleen Tower fight.
And after that, I will get some more Breeding Done.
"Yes." I said, "Time to get some fighting done."
Almost as if she heard me say that, Tomoe suddenly appeared next to me in her Anthro Form. The massive form of this Alpha Pal was towering over me. Her sharp and beautiful eyes were looking down at me and as I looked up, my eyes were literally glued to her large breasts, wrapped by her sarashi band.
I smiled, "Hey, big girl." I said, "Whatcha want?"
She grabbed her sword and slightly unsheathed it, letting out a challenging rumble. It was quite clear what she wanted; she wanted to get some action.
I chuckled and hugged her waist, my head rubbing against her soft breasts. I wrapped my arms around her amazing curves, my hand grabbing her ass as I looked at her.
"You don't want to just be a house pal, huh?" I said, "A Bushi, through and through. Does my Big Girl want to go out and fight?"
She nodded, her black bob bouncing slightly as she did this.
"Well..." I rubbed her ass, "I don't mind. Ryou can fight alongside her mother, eh? Well....Let's go."
"We have a Tower to crush."
