(Caleb's POV)
"That's coming along nicely...." I said as I sat in front of the campfire, "Smells good."
Next to me, the Enhanced Foxsparks was sitting as it was eating the cooked meat from a Lamball we hunted. On the other side, his mother was sitting and snuggling up to me as it let out a low rumble.
I looked at her, "What is it?"
She licked my neck, still in her Wild Form, as if she was asking for something.
"Hm...." I said, "I thought you were only in heat inside the Breeding Room....."
I guess that's an effect of fucking pals to the point where they convulse violently. Man, to even think about the fact that I spent hours fucking them gives me goosebumps. I had to open up the windows to let the smell out.
It was pungent.
That's why I am holding off on continuing to breed.
I took the Enhanced Foxsparks with me on a hunting expedition, going around the area and hunting as much Pals as we could which could provide meat. Not only that, we found dozens of eggs as well as some seeds that we could use later on.
Now, I have some chests stored with ingredients that I can use to cook more stuff for myself and the other Pals at the base.
I finished cooking up the meat and cut off a piece, feeding it to the Mother Foxsparks. She quickly took it and ate it as I relaxed my body.
"I have to go out and acquire more Pals, I suppose." I said aloud, "Sure, the Enhanced versions of these are nice for now, but I need to get more to get production out of the way."
Nocturnal Pals might be a good thing to get for now. If I remembered correctly, Depressos and Tombats might be the best bet. I just need to go out and find them. There is also the Mammorest at the starting area, as well as the nearby field bosses.
I had to think carefully about what I have to do.
I need to improve productivity in the Base and make sure everything goes by smoothly. I don't see the Base Missions that will increase Pal capacity at the base, it started off with 6 slots, which is quite surprising. Not only that, I don't know what I have to do to have a second base in this world.
Maybe it is tied to the Breeding System.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
I let out a sigh, "I swear, If I need to spent hours fucking these Pals just to unlock a second base....." I said, "That's going to be a pain in the ass....."
As I said that, the System appeared before me:

- Breed the Chillet (Rewards: x2 Gigaspheres, Primordial Point)
- Breed x10 Pals (Reward: 20 points)
I blinked, "Well shit...." I said, "There we go....."
Chillet, huh?
I have to go and capture the ice weasel Pal, hm?
But that aside, what is a Primordial Point? Is it different than Ancient Technology Point? I know that you get Ancient Technology Points when you defeat bosses, but what is a Primordial Point?
That is quite intriguing.
Chillet is an Ice-type, so I am sure that the Enhanced Foxsparks will do well against it. With the Huggy Fire ability, I might be able to just burn the Chillet down to the point where I can capture it.
I stood up, "Alright, buddy." I told the Enhanced Foxsparks, "Let's go and get ourselves a Foxsparks."

I Fast Traveled to the spot nearest to the Chillet's location and from there, I walked alongside the little Fox.
On the way, I was able to capture some more Pengullets and even Mozzarina, which would come in handy. Not only that, I found a few Megaspheres lying on the ground, which was a godsend if I was going to be honest.
After some time, I reached the spot where the Chillet was roaming. There were a few more Foxsparks around it but after I approached the area, they ran away almost immediately. I made a mental note to catch them after I deal with the Chillet.
The large weasel-like Pal was standing on its hindlegs, looking around.
I pulled out my bow and immediately fired an arrow, striking it on the neck. It immediately shook its head rapidly and let out its roar, lunging at me with its powerful ice charge.
I jumped to the side and the Foxsparks followed suit, firing a single fireball at the Chillet. I watched as the Chillet got hit and it flinched slightly, a burn effect spreading momentarily through its body.
I straightened up, firing a few more arrows as the Chillet fired its icy breath at me. I was able to dodge the attacks, watching how the Foxsparks was weaving towards the Boss, firing more fireballs at it.
I saw that the Chillet kept flinching at the fire attacks, letting out whimpers as the fire was spreading through its body.
"Damn, it's quite effective." I said as I fired more arrows
The Chillet then charged at me, hitting me hard in the side and sending me flying. I hit the ground hard, and my body began to throb all over, my head spinning as I tried getting back up.
The Chillet fired ice at me, but the Foxsparks tackled me out of the way, which was shocking to say the least.
After we both got up, I immediately grabbed the Foxsparks, "Alright....!" I said as I held it in my arms, "Let's do it!"
The Chillet had charged at us, but I stepped to the side, dodging its melee attack.
"Huggy Fire"
The Foxsparks opened its mouth and unleashed a tense stream of flames, hitting the Chillet in the side. I heard the Chillet's pained howling as it crashed onto the ground, writhing around as steam filled the air.
For some reason, the Chillet was completely weak against the Enhanced Foxsparks's Huggy Fire. I held the Foxsparks, though, unleashing more and more flames on it until I watched the Chillet's body go slightly limp, it's howling slowly dying down.
"Stop!" I said to the Foxsparks, tossing it to the side
It stopped breathing fire, coughing and shaking its neck.
I pulled out a Megasphere and tossed it at the writhing Chillet, watching as it was sucked into it in a wave of light.
"...15%"
"...45%"
"Come on..." I muttered, "I don't want to kill you....and I have very little Megaspheres...."
"...100%"
